Loved this app but the implementation of ads has ruined the experience now. Also, a few things i would like to mention: • there is a start screen asking to add logo, project (optional). Kindly remove it so i can capture a photo fast. • there are 2 big capture buttons with 1 button capturing immediately upon being pressed, and the 2nd asking me to add reference number and notes (optional). I would love to remove the latter. • switching to front camera takes 2 steps. Add a button on main screen:)

This app was so much better before it was updated to conota. Now it's full of ads. It's annoying when you need to view a picture that was just taken an ad pops up then again when you want to go back to the camera. When doing audits it's no good to be slowed down for an ad and the client is waiting to move on to the next area. We shouldn't be forced to watch ads when this app is used for work. It's disrespectful to have ads popping up while working. It should be 1 time payment for pro version

Fantastic app, absolutely ideal for work Edited review, the latest update changes several features to pro features despite having paid already for pro, this is also now a yearly sub option only, sad to see a great app get bitten by corporate greed. I'll either downgrade to the non yearly version or just delete it and count it as a loss.

Amazing. Options work perfectly, always loads, always does what I ask it to do in the settings sections. The ability to add notes, project names and coordinates after each picture works great, and the file organization is top notch. A must have for anybody taking tons of pictures and getting them straight. Surveyors, environmental scientists or hiking enthusiasts. And not an ad in sight.

The Conota Camera app is excellent for photography with its user-friendly interface and high-quality image output. However, the geotagging feature sometimes selects incorrect nearby addresses, like tagging house number 19 instead of 17 or 20. It would be great if users could manually select the correct address from nearby options to improve accuracy. Overall, it's a great app with room for improvement in this area.

Was better as Spotlens . I understand the need for Apps to monetize but when this app turned into Conota it marked a downhill turn, I have the pro version which I reluctantly pay for as it's still a "good" app for work, but it's gotten rougher with the additional features, far less polished. Please for the love of God add the ability to stop the app from autorotating, it's off on my phone and still happens, ruining shots by jumping the watermark all over the place.

Great app. You might create the ability for it to check the phones gps loc immediately every time it's opened. I have to update Google maps first to ensure a current loc. No app seems to have this ability - immediate check (it gets to it eventually) - so perhaps this is technically easier said than done, or too battery draining? My battery can handle it and it would be a welcome option. Again, geat app.

I really like this app. It gives me the ability to document when something happened along with the Owner, Project Name, and address. My only issue is, that it takes several seconds to take the picture, from the time that you press the shutter button. If you move before it's done, the photo is blurred. Can this be fixed?

The app is easy to use. The feature I miss is having the option to adjust the size of the photos by pixel size, aspect ratio isn't really relevant but when you're taking several photos for a project report - having a full resolution 27" x 20" shot isn't necessary and uses a lot of storage.

The app is great, with one exception. When you use the text in the photo, no matter what color you use, it always meshs with the photo itself. The gray background works if you set it at 1 or 2, but then your blocking portions of the photo. There's also no option for a background on the compass in the photo, so it suffers from the same meshing problem. There needs to be an option to outline text with another color, black or white to start.

Great app, highly recommended! Couple issues (6/3/21): 1. I'm unable to drag and drop the file name order, which is unfortunate as I'd prefer the time to occur before project name. 2. Use of wide angle camera is not enabled--just the primary lens. (I saw a couple other little bugs, such as shortened location not being formatted properly here in USA, but not a big deal.) Those being fixed would make this the best! Compliments to the developer.

I am an appraiser and I often inspect 20 or more proeprties at a time, msny of which are very similar. It is difficult to know what the adresses are of each one and what order they were taken in. With this app I can add notes and automatically add a timestamp and address right on the photo. If time permits, please consider adding some basic controls like white balance and zoom. IT would be great if there was an option to place a north arrow on the photo as well. Thanks for putting the effort into this one. I've tried a lot of GPS camera apps and this the best one by far,!

I really like the app, it is the best I have used for work so far. My biggest suggestion for improvement would be a rotation lock. The camera in this app seems to auto-rotate to portrait when horizontal (shooting downward) more easily than my phone's standard camera, leaving the text box rotated 90 degrees. A simple rotation lock would solve this problem. Locking the phone itself doesn't help. Another suggestion is to add a datestamp option that doesn't include time. Thanks for the great app!

Great app. Only suggestions might be a way to auto position the caption elements independently of one another to open more space in the center of the picture. For instance, the title in the upper left, the compass in the upper right, the time, date and cords in lower left, and the logo in the lower right, etc.. also, since you have the ability to set various font colors, you could maybe add various backgrounds instead of just gray. Could get a bit complex, but a simple solution would rock.

As a research scientist I love this app and use it for documenting sites and organisms during fieldwork. Also great for things like car/home insurance claims etc. Glad to see it is still actively under development. I would happily pay for the app to get rid of the ads, although they are not intrusive and are well done compared to many ad-supported apps. But Spotlens is so useful I feel the developer should really get more money! For anyone who needs photo documentation, Spotlens is awesome.

Amazing. Very useful. I'm a location scout for film and this app makes creating photo records of any location with all of the info needed, including direction and coordinates, job name, time, date, misc info, etc., as both a watermark and in the file name, quick and easy. Highly customizable. The ability to also have it save an unwatermarked photo along with the watermarked one is brilliant. And the photos are pretty high quality although I would like to have more camera controls.

I have been looking for an app like this for a long time! It works so good out in the field, connects easily to satellites, and is very accurate. I absolutely love the interface and how simple it is to use. I love the format of how the stamped information appears on the photo - simple and professional. The ability it has to remember added notes to photos is amazing. You nailed it!! Thank you thank you!

Loved it until the upgrade to requiring pay for even the most basic features. You even replaced the button for flash with another button that links you to pay for the app. It's completely unusable for me, the amount your asking for is too high and so I had to uninstall. There's to much competition out there guys, which is why it's so easy to move on when you change everything and go about profit this particular way. Thanks and good luck in the future.

Liking the app so far, one thing would be nice though, if we could import photos to be grouped with photos taken it would save me a whole bunch of time trying to get a good pic of my controller after a layout to show which points were shot on the project. Integrate a field notes app and an eraser into the drawing portion and it would be my primary field notes app.

Loving it so far. My only complaint is that I can't choose what album the photos save to and all the photos end up in my gallery. My company doesn't provide a company phone so having to scroll through hundreds of project photos to find the photos of my kids is a pain. Sure I can manually move photos to another album but when you take hundreds of photos a day it's a real pain on the a**! Add this feature in and I would give this 5 stars and recommend it to everyone of my coworkers!
