Decided to give this game another shot after a 3 year break. My 2016 review was 5* , later dropped to 2* after a few updates really broke the overall stability of the game. Fast forward to Feb 2020 and the developers seemed to have fixed that. Overall, it's a very fun and fast paced timing and coordination tapping game with 100s of challenges and levels across 20+ venues. Be warned: free to play, but progression will be at a snail's pace if you aren't willing to pay real money for upgrades.

I've been playing this game for years. Just switched from an Android based system to an iPad only to find they are not compatible. Only game I had that was linked to Facebook/Google that my progress could not be transferred. Very disappointed on losing many hours of play and money having to start over. Seriously considering not continuing play

Horrible customer services! I've spent over 100$ on gold bars, had to reinstall the game due to all the recent glitches and lost all my progress. They restored *conveniently the period in time before i made purchases to restore. I loved this game, it was a release when i got home from work but after this 3 week fight to get my progress back i am done. Dont waste your time! You will work hard and spend money only to see it all gone in a flash! Uninstalling! Done!

I had previously installed this game back last yr & was playing but then had to uninstall it cause I kept on having problems with it just suddenly closing & I would lose any groceries, any items from the prep kitchen (that I had to wait for the item to get done). Then I decided to reinstall it about 2 wks ago it was OK now it is doing the same thing again!!!! It is annoying & very frustrating!!! Gordon Ramsay edition of this game works perfectly.

Always loved the cooking/dining dash games. It is awesome that I can play them on my phone now. Also you don't have to pay any money to play though it might help you advance through the game faster. Need patience waiting for all the groceries to spawn. New edit: once you get further into the game, the cost of upgrades are horrendous. They want you to spend money! It is a huge disappointment. 😭

I like the game, it's fun to play. There is always something new to do or unlock. But let's get real, to get anywhere in the game you either have to watch a 30 second ad to earn 1 gold when you're spending 5 gold on one upgrade needed to get anywhere. It is a quick cash in for the developers, I'll give them that *eye roll*. But if you're going to have a game you spend money on, fix the bugs at the very least.

Edit: I switched phones and have not been able to restore my progress from my old phone. It's irritating as I paid real money. The error says the developer knows about the issue but when is the fix gonna happen? I'm not starting over. It's easier to win at levels in this than diner dash and I also like how you're lives refresh faster so you don't have to wait so long between game play. I wish it weren't driven by micro purchases but you know you can't win them all.

I like the game but it is expensive. I refuse to spend actual money on this game or any other game for that matter. I watch the videos to get free gold. It takes too long to refill. UPDATE: As of August 2023 I noticed I just can't watch the videos for the free gold. Also season 2 episode 8 still has issues. I click it and the game completely shuts down and goes to my phone homescreen. Thank God I was past that episode when it started glitching. Not fun anymore.

This game is really fun & challenging. I love the variety between the restaurants. I have experienced a few bugs (gold for ads) & the game's turtorial method is excellent. It is difficult to play the 3rd, 4th & the newest relased restaurant without purchasing gold (the hardest currency form). I don't mind spending a little cash for a game especially 1 with expansions but it is clear you need quite a bit to continue. That's the only reason for not giving 5 stars.

Sadly this little game has great graphics and good mechanics. It's fun to play. Unfortunately the advertising and hard sell of gold is very obnoxious. Also the recent mini game finale is a complete rip off. Only at the very end is there no possibility of extra time when you have been led to believe that is an option to buy and have wasted a lot of time prepping recipes for each level

High energy, no ads, and tons of venues and recipes. However gold is near impossible to build up/ needed to progress..and the watch an ad for gold or to speed up has been disabled. its also dead for updates since 2020..some of the shows they didnt even finish..so you cant finish..disappointing..feels like they got 75% done and quit..but still sell packs for as much as $100 right now in 2024. so much potential but will never b finished imo

Rip off game. I have twice now made in have purchases and failed to receive the items I paid for. I've emailed them and sent screenshots of my purchases as well as contacted them through their chat in game. The first purchase was only .99 cents so I was willing to just eat it. But the latest one was 4.99 and I got ripped off again by them. Fun game, but you need diamonds to unlock more levels and diamonds cost money so be prepared to only be able to play one or two of the restaurants

Good game, however, gold is needed for everything but there is little gold to get without paying for it. Watching ads to get gold is disabled and all of those other offers are useless because it requires you to download another game/app (that you more than likely don't want) or strike out on surveys. Some challenges require you to use gold to get gold... so yeah, eventually, it's pay to play. Said goodbye when I couldn't progress further without having to play the same levels over & over again.

Please bring back the videos for gold. It's either impossible or expensive to advance in this game without them. Edit: I had to factory reset my phone and this is the only game that never gives me my progress when I re-download. I spent a lot of money to upgrade and move ahead, and all of that is gone because on top of taking away the videos for free gold, they have made it impossible to login and save progress with Facebook. Ugh!! I'm done with this game, and that's so irritating!!

Game is super fun, i have been playing on and off for 10 years but it's clear the creators have given up on this game . No updates in 4 years, can't sign into Facebook to save your progress(thank god ive had the same phone for the past 4 years), can't watch videos for gold. They've just given up completely which is disappointing. Ironic because they other game they also have (dash adventures) also has glitches to the point where you cant even play it, they won't fix that either .

2nd update...freezing etc resolved, but guessing there is no more maintenance on the game. its been around awhile so i get it, but sad. Update...losing stars. So bad...freezes, crashes all the time! I agree with others. The latest update is trying to drive us all away. Original: For the most part I like playing...this could be my favorite. But, it is very glitchy. It freezes a lot or is really slow. Also, i have rated before and i constantly get a pop up to rate....enough already.

I love this game so much! Many different venues and other games/offers throughout, but it's impossible to earn gold without having to spend money. Constant upgrades on food/things in the restaurant and every upgrade requires coins and gold. The coins are easy to obtain, but the gold is impossible. There are no videos to watch to earn free gold, and the package deals are all $9.99 or more and still don't offer sufficient gold. If gold was easier to obtain, then I would rate higher stars.

this is my favorite phone game ever. I remember my mom use to play the old PC version so i made sure that when I got a phone I'd play cooking dash on it. there are a few bugs when it comes to trying to get free gold from logging into Facebook or watching a video. u also can't watch the offered video to regain lost gold when u lose in Trial of Style. but i still love the game nonetheless.

I've always enjoyed the game but there is no way to progress without spending real money. To unlock and/or upgrade costs anywhere from 1 to 40 gold + silver coins. While you can acquire gold via daily quests, this is only 1 to 3 golds which isn't sufficient for 40+ restaurants each with a slew of items to be upgraded. Additionally, there's no way for me to link my account to Google. Contrary to popular belief, not everyone is on FB. So switching phones equals all progress lost.

I've loved all of these games dating back to the original diner dash on the PC. I want to love this game but it's become almost unplayable. As other reviews mentioned, you're not able to sign into Facebook to save your progress. There is a glitch in season 2 episode 8 of Table Steaks that crashes the game. I can't uninstall and reinstall because my progress isn't saved since I can't sign into FB. It's completely driven by microtransactions. Would happily pay for an offline version without micro$
