New account registration is extremely confusing for international driver license and not clearly explained which led to long activation time leading to not being able to use the app for the entire trip. Also the interface is confusing in when can you use the app for real.

Worst experience ever. The registration process is a nightmare. I have been trying for 2 days to register but it's simply impossible. The pictures for the ID or the selfie keep giving an error without specifying the reason and after trying in 20 different ways to get them right I am asked to enter my credit card. However, as soon as I have to quit the app to use the 2FA to validate my card, the process has to restart from the beginning.

Scam. They tried to charge me 111 EUR out of nowhere when I haven't used the app in months. Fraudulent charges, scam app, fake, illegal, avoid. Edit: and now if you look at their reply to me, they're actually LYING again. They never sent me ANY pdf "contrasting" anything whatsoever to do with parking or police or anything like that. I haven't used the app in MONTHS and any problems with my parking would have come up in invoices long ago. They have provided ZERO evidence to support the scam charge they tried to invoice me for. Do not believe anything they say, this is a trap to scam people out of money. Fraudsters. This app will be removed from the Google store soon.

Horrible experience. App stopped working while I was pausing the vehicle. Opened the chat support to speak with an agent. Agent quit the chat without saying anything! I tried 3 more times couldn't get through to anyone. Couldn't ride back home and needed to hire an Uber to drive back home. Two days later they send me an invoice 200 € because I couldn't bring their scooter back! It's insane! Several times in 2 weeks their app and scooters didn't work. No wonder you see so many 1 star reviews.

Cityscoot was supposed to move my account to that app. They didn't . All the minutes purchased are lost. Poor client service .

Worse service ever. I'm Italian, but I have been living in the UK for almost 10 years. I happened to be in Valencia for holidays and I wanted to give Cooltra a go. For some reason, if you're Italian, the only document you can add are national ID and NIN. I don't have either of them with me, however I have (of course) my passport and my driving license. Well, for some mystery reason, they decided to refuse my account because the passport is not enough (!!!!!). Very frustrating and discriminatory

Extremely frustrating app to use. Have had heaps of difficulty getting my documents accepted and now the app won't let me log in. I've reset my password 4 times and the app still says I'm using the incorrect password. I can log-in via the web, but not the app. Been trying to work this thing for 2 days now and still haven't been able to use it. How disappointing!

Update: still doesn't work properly! So so poor. Do you even have a dev team? I've been using this service for years, it used to be great. For the last 6 months or so the app has had lots of problems, often doesn't even start properly. I have to delete the app's data and cache just to be able to log in again. Such a shame for a good service to end up so poor, I'm using Yego and Acciona instead now

The scooters themselves are great, 2 clean helmets, enough range, easy to unlock... This app would be very useful if it worked correctly, however I will stop using it after I paid 10 € and no credit has shown up in my account. Usually the customer service operators you chat with are very helpful, but this time everybody acted like there was no problem at all. It's not just 10€, it's an incorrect behaviour.

Problematic... App appears to accepts valid personal ID data, but doesn't, then sends emails which have a response link that doesn't work, chat facility seeks additional personal data not asked for by the app and refuses to verify its/his/her identity and then signs itself/herself/himself out... Feels super insecure and likely to cause personal identity data losses and problems... Maybe the scooters are just fine... but there seems no safe way to find that out

Overall it's a decent app. Has to major flaws which should be addressed asap: 1) More often than not, there are issues with server disconnection, usually when ending the travel, which involves restarting the app and increasing my usage time and the money I spend 2) It consumes an absurd ammount of battery, depleting it faster than all my other apps together.

experiencing sever issues in Milan with unresponsive scooters, on avarage I need to try 3 before using a working one.. bad luck? I think being solo in the market has its advances, business always in favour of companies never towards the client..

when out of zone and out of fuel (even tough it says %10) you have to carry the whole thing into zone and breaks itself while costing minute rate... dont use cooltra.

I have used this service between 70 and 80 times in Madrid. Many motorbikes are in bad condition. Most of the times the mirrors are loose and move when you drive, or the wheels are flat. I have had the first incident more than 20 times, the second issue more than 3 times in which I had to stop and change bike. The technical service is really not properly controlling the state of the vehicles, and this is terrible; traffic accidents and life-long injuries can happen because of issues like this.

Nice app! I had issues verifying my identity but a phone call to support was enough, which is always good. Prices are higher than the alternative bikesharing apps (at least in Barcelona) so we mostly used others.

The service is up and otherly worthless their employees don't know basic English and don't even remotely try to help you i would not recommended cooltra to anyone!! Stay away from this app!!

The box with the helmets didnt open for 6 minutes, the scooter stopped working uphill, and I spent another 5 minutes trying to put back the helmets. Instead of giving me the full refund the gave me 7 "gift" minutes. I have no intention to use the app after this experience so the gift minutes doesn't worth anything to me. When I tried to argue for a full refund they closed the chat unilaterally and I couldn't open it anymore. Horrible company, they stole my money.

Support is a joke—no 24/7 help, but automated, useless messages. Asking, "Are you sure you want to chat with an agent?" means a lot. I request to shut down after a second use for which I was overcharged 15 minutes due to constant app bugs—clearly intentional theft. Over a day, account is still processing. You deserve 0 stars for your dishonesty, and I’ll be watching my credit card closely for any more unauthorized charges. Shameful and predatory. I invite users to gather for a group complaint

It's really heavy on data, which is fine if you have a local phone plan on that city or connected to wifi. But if you happen to be roaming and have low bandwidth like edge or hspa, or your speed is throttled which happens as a tourist in a foreign country with a foreign phone plan, the experience can be miserable. You can't load the map, you can't reserve or start the scooters, uploading the photo is guaranteed to fail, but there is no resubmit, you have to go back and take another Pic.
