Typical prison communication system. It keeps saying that my internet is slow and will not connect to the video chat even though I'm using a direct wired connection to my high speed internet modem. I'm pretty sure they made this app suck on purpose...

You have to give 1 star to leave a review. App will not connect to server. And says video session unavailable no matter what you do. Worthless app and a major waste of valuable time. Very frustrating and difficult to even get to that part.

This app rarely if ever works when it's time to have a video visit. The visits via phone/ laptop are the only option to see and talk to my incarcerated loved one. The video lags and cuts off suddenly. This app can and absolutely should be updated and straightened out. It's not a top priority for a company to assist convicts and felons to connect w/ there kids, partners, family and loved one's. It sucks to be excited and ready to have a video visit & it works for only 6 minutes . Such a let down.

I tried to set up my new computer for a video visit w/ my daughter. Every time I selected "test the connection", a message said "connecting to the test server" and then the whole program shuts down without connecting. 😠 The support PDFs do not address this problem. We ended up conducting our visit on my smart phone. Out daughter was frozen on screen for 24 min of a 25 min video visit! There is no phone # you can call or a website you can go to for CorrLinks Video technical support!

I give this app 0 stars! Ok it made me put one star or i couldn't even review the app! It is terrible! I ran the stupid test 3 times... and all three times my phones data was much faster than the speeds required to use the app... still it told me my connection was slow! and never let me connect! It is a waste of my time my loved ones time and my loved ones $! Yes the inmates have to pay 6$ per visit! With no refunds available!

Usually this app is great! .... but NOT TODAY I'm missing a video call with my wife because the app says it cant connect to corrlink servers. I thought it might be my connection so I tried with wifi or my 5g nothing so then I tried on my iPhone because it tends to work better on there (I'm writing this off android) nope nothing. So lastly I tried my laptop NOT A DAMN THING CHANGED. ... same problem. Today was a very important day and we are more than disappointed to have missed this. ..

I can log in and when I do it says you have never tested this computer or internet but I have on 3 different occasions had video visits on my cell phone and on the same internet nothing has changed and when i bypass that part and run the test i end up getting an alert and it says this video session is currently unavailable please try again in a few minutes. I've done that, I even uninstalled the app and reinstalled it and it still doesn't work

Never worked for me. I missed two video chats because of this. My Wi-Fi speeds are 3 megabytes per second download and one megabyte per second upload. Using my 4G connection it was one megabyte per second download and 900 kilobytes per second upload. The problem it's having is it will not ping the the corrlinks network. I don't think this is an issue with my phone.

As usual corrlinks makes it difficult with setup for video calls and adding premium account. Followed directions as understood but I must have been wrong because nether worked. Again too much time for corrlink process with no choice but struggle on. It would be nice if setups were not all this back and forth. For goodness sake this should be a simpler procedure for simple communication to loved ones.

Not bad. I had to buy wired headphones so that actually helped with low volume. The second issue.. I have fiber optic internet. Doing a speed test in app will tell me it's not sufficient enough speed, but I'm able to continue too. It needs a timer on screen that helps countdown as your visit ends! Finally it crashes sometimes as it's testing with the server-it auto rotates which is when that happens.

I just downloaded the app I completed the test for my phone and it said it was good. Every time I come back to the app it's still telling me I need to run a test. Am I supposed to run a test before each video call?!? That means that it's going to take me 10 minutes before I can get on my video call with my relative. It also says status pending they didn't tell me that on the video when I was setting it up.

Horrible, video lags, steady connection is near impossible, WORST audio of any app. Wired headphones only, not bluetooth compatible. Mandatory test run takes to long. Establishing connection is successful less than half the time and when it does its very poor. Possibly the worst video calling or communications app on Android period. Very disappointing!

I had the opportunity to actually use this app yesterday and the video and audio quality are poor and that's just doing the test when you set it up my visit yesterday did not happen because after I had to do that configuration again then it just kept saying that it was trying to connect I never did get to video visit with my girlfriend and the app is the prob. if this is the only way to visit somebody locked up you need to have a better app those visits can make or break a person locked up

It constantly freezes and kicking me out of the system... it's NOT ON MY END... It happens multiple times and with multiple inmates...we are NOT refunded for the time we lost in our video visit or reimbursement of funds to our inmates... it's a very poor service and trying to get in touch with customer service is impossible It's horrible and if there is another app I would recommend it over this one... It starts the time 2 minutes before the video starts and ends 4 minutes before it's due to end

It's always worked somewhat well. It never says I have great service even though I have 4g with full bars. I join anyway and it works. But today I had a video visit and it kept saying check my firewall that it couldn't get connection. Never had a problem with it before until today. Just updated it for the new update and it talks about a "better firewall" now I cant even visit my sister that pays good money for each visit. Tried everything to connect and nothing worked. Please fix this issue!

Poor video quality regardless of the Internet connection, even with gigabit Internet. Great to be able to see loved ones, but wish it wasn't always as grainy as a flip phone video. It's clearly some big that they need to fix. The app always thinks I have a slow connection (even though I don't) and must be downgrading the stream to accommodate. Extremely frustrating
