After 3 months of trying to log in with the same credentials as I use successfully on the website, I consistently receive the following message: Error Server is unavailable. Please try again later and if problem persists, please refer to Mobile Connect "Support & Care" feature. That feature does not exist on the sign-in screen, and there are no other options besides the sign-in screen for me to visit. I've tried reinstalling the app multiple times, and I receive the same error. I've tried connecting both over wifi and cell networks, and I receive the same error.

App and website is great! The only thing is, the service is terrible. High speed internet that is totally inconsistant and unreliable. Tech support is also of ameture skill. I tried troubleshooting issues to no avail. Then reached out to a tech; only to find out that I've tried everything what they would have suggested. They would then conclude that they have no idea what's happening and tell me to have a wonderful day before hanging up.

App seems okay. Service is pretty bad though. For the past couple years my internet will just randomly turn off and back on. sometimes it can be just for a split second other several minutes and it does it all day. But they always send some kid over who plugs in a thing and says my internet is fine. My uploads will randomly drop to 0.55 and sometimes maybe 40 download. For years or so and they haven't fixed it or even acknowledge the problem.

The menu bar gives an option for checking your data. however everytime I try to see my usage it says they're experiencing difficulties, try back later. It's been like that for over a month. I tried uninstalling/ reinstalling only to get the same thing. like the company, Cox is just a run around. Also, I looked over other responses and noticed that Cox only sends responses to already positive feedback. So either they aren't even reading these not so great ones, or they just really don't care.

App is now only useful for paying your bill maybe. It used to show if there was an outage for you, but the latest update removed that feature. Going to uninstall. Edit: As the developer replied below, it does give a pop up when there is an outage. Still prefer it the way it was, but at least it does show that. Now if only Cox would show or track outages as they first start happening without waiting for a bunch of customers report having issues in order for them to consider it an outage at all.

The app is good. The new router is NOT good. I never had any issues before with service but with this new "Panoramic Wifi Gateway" service comes and goes constantly. It typically goes out every day and sometimes several times a day. Once in a blue moon we will have continuous service for 2 or 3 days. This is especially bad with attempting to work from home. I would really rather have my old router back.

Nice app to check the connection status for my internet. Also useful in determining devices on your internet and what channels are being used. The Wi-Fi hotspot finder has been kind of Hit and Miss. I've tried bill paid a couple of times and when I'm done at the end I don't know whether I pay the bill or not, so I think that option needs to be looked at.

App has issues and sometimes won't connect or has "technical difficulties" if your internet isn't connecting well, which is the whole point of the app. The bill pay is okay, but the same thing can be achieved through their website. Sometimes the remote modem reset is helpful, but rarely solves issues. The support feature does not connect you to an agent half the time, and when it does they usually are more focused on getting you to schedule a technician than actually doing anything helpful

Online bill pay is easy and convenient. It would be nice to be able to check online what it be to move/change service(s) around in the app without having to call/chat, to get an idea what I prefer versus being "upsold" when I have to call to make changes. I realize it is all about the mighty dollar, that is why options available on the consumer end would be nice to have as well so when the call is made, the consumer has an idea of what they are needing and can afford.

A good concept, but falls short. Paying for bill is really the most useful option this app is good for. Its quick and easy to input your info and stay current with bill cycles. Past that, the app is slow, and relatively useless. Add to the fact that it crashes more often than you'd ever want. The online chat support is utterly garbage. Maybe I've had bad experiences, but it seems like it takes a support agent 5+ minutes to respond to anything. They also don't seem as knowledgeable as you'd like.

App is okay, but slow moving and is difficult to get to an actual person in tech support to help. Their chat shows the option to include images, but the feature doesn't work according to tech support. Rather lackluster app for a company that provides lackluster service as well. When it's working, it's OK, but they refuse to address any real infrastructure issues with their network. What makes it worse is the premium charge to the customer and plans that change without warning.

The latest update of this app has turned getting phone messages from a breeze to a royal PITA. Instead of just *showing* the messages, it now sends you to the poorly designed web page. You have to login (even though the app knows who you are) then navigate to your messages. If you want to hear one instead of reading the transcript, you have to download an audio file, then find an ap on ti play it. This is a huge DOWNGRADE from the previous version.

Currently can't even open app because it immediately crashes every time I try opening it. Also, it's rarely accurate when there's a network problem because there's almost always a network problem. This last month it has been incredibly unstable, I can't open a streaming app like Netflix or Hulu without my Internet crashing at least once. I'm surprised this company has been able to operate like this as long as they have.

Believe the negative reviews for the app itself. Only installed it for tech support. you could be having a 2-hour conversation with tech and if you have to navigate from the app , NOT close, to retrieve some information, when come back the chat RESETS you're talking to a bot again and have to start all over. Doesn't have an option to copy the conversation so that you can paste it into the next dialogue you start. This s*** is useless.

Hate the new update, less features. I had to log into the website to complete the transaction i needed to do, which completely invalidates the reason for having and using the app. New app is pretty and faster, but less functionality. Also not app related, but the outages are getting ridiculous! I can understand maintenance outages, and maybe the issue is that you don't distinguish between scheduled outages and unintended outages to customers, but every time i log in i have an outage notice.

Much like Cox service in general, this app is barely functional. The menus are basic and bland, information is slow to load or cannot load at all. Some items, such as service status may or may not appear and require a complete log out/log in order to address. The in app tech support such as resetting a modem may work once in a while, but it can't really be counted on. Overall this app is a mess and only reinforces the idea that Cox could not care less about customer service since customers like me have no other options for ISP.

Update: Horrible service AND horrible customer service. I had to reset my modem at least twice a week in order to get smooth Wi-Fi. I'm DONE. I just canceled my account this morning and going with AT&T Fiber (which blows Cox away). With AT&T, I will have faster & better service! And my bill is cheaper. Every time I try to connect, the app never works. If you are going to develop an app....Make sure it works 100% of the time. If you can guarantee that then don't bother developing the app at all.

2/11/24 update: not that there's ever a good time for internet to go out, but current message is service will be fixed 40 minutes after kickoff of the super bowl. Lol, Cox you suck. I hate Internet monopolies. Useless to get outage updates. The one time I have a use for it and all it says is "there's an outage, no estimated time for a fix". There's an outage map but it won't load. Chat connects to an agent in a different country who doesn't know anything. Useless placebo app.

paying for a service that only works 35 percent of the time, but can't find anywhere to cancel without having to talk to someone from India and the only fix they offered was to have a technician come out with an upgraded plan costing me more instead of sending someone to fix the issue. My phone hot spot has ran better more consistently without issue and it's only 25 a month from at&t. 😂

Terrible service all around. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Been waiting over an hour to be transferred (by a supervisor!) to a "Specialist team" for over an hour now...and that's after dealing with an agent for over 2 hours prior. Service/speed is inconsistent/unreliable, and Prices have more than doubled! I wish Cox wasn't my only Internet option. It's what allows them to get away with providing terrible service.
