Latest update took away the ability to see how much data was used in the last 24 hours for each individual device. Was able to pinpoint exactly which device was using more and manage more easily. Now when I press on the device it just takes me to the wifi tab in the app where I have to find it again. Terrible update, bring back this feature!

imagine that, a company making port forwarding an app exclusive feature, something that has always been done on a computer, now put through the absolute hassle of not only requiring more effort but a genuine inconvenience. "port forwarding is easier than ever!" really? it was easier than this app just to do it on your computer. finish it in 3 minutes, this app takes far longer. i wish rats in cox's rations for this

When it works, it's ok. But hope you never have to use it to change any settings. The app is slow, features often don't work properly, and the network settings are locked down. I had to turn off Advanced Security as well because it was blocking my thermostats from connecting to their service. Can't unblock the service's "malicious IP". I can't change the DNS settings to use Cloudflare's malware-blocking DNS service in the app, and the modem settings direct you to the app for advanced settings.

Yikes. This is not an app but just a place where website hyperlinks are stored. Nothing is actionable that doesn't lead to a non-functional feature or website link outside of the app. This used to be a helpful and easy to use app. Not perfect, but I could view & manage my home's WiFi settings, devices, and user accounts. Now, it's just filled with links to website articles and is missing every helpful feature previously available. Rollback suggested for improved offerings and performance.

You're probably here because Cox has a monopoly in your area. Upon install, I was able to enter my username and password once. The screen flickered seven or eight times, then sent me back to the app store. Any further attempts to access the app resulted in flickering and transfer again. I Uninstalled and reinstalled the app with the exact same results. I don't even know how anyone was able to access it, period.

Shouldn't have to download a separate app to change gateway settings. There is ZERO reason to reinvent the wheel when it comes to changing local settings. REGARDLESS if it makes it easier for some people, LEAVE THE FREAKING ORIGINAL FEATURES AVAILABLE ON THE LOCAL SERVER HOSTED BY THE NETWORK FOR THE PEOPLE THAT DON'T WANT THE APP. Another pointless application and for what. A1 Cox, really outdid yourself. You can do all this from a phone web browser too, literally zero need for an app. 🖕

I set my kids devices to turn off at a certain time. No problem. During their break I tried to extend their time limit. Their device still will not connect to WiFi because the original schedule. I set it to where their devices won't connect after 1am and back on at 4am. Didn't help. I took off the schedule, uninstalled and reinstalled the app & even reset our WiFi. Nothing helps. Now they have to connect to my mobile Hotspot instead of WiFi. So this app is terrible from my experience.

I thought it would be a great app to be able to adjust my WiFi settings or to see how many devices are connected. But when trying to sign in I entered my login info and when I press continue the app keeps wigging out and trying to open a screen to login in and keeps freaking out and then the app crashes. I tried uninstall and reinstall and that didn't help at all.

App literally does not work. When I first opened the app, I was signed into Cox already so it kept opening and closing a web browser in quick succession so I couldn't do anything but close all apps. After that, I signed out of Cox on the browser and reopened the app. It let me get to the login screen for the first time but when I signed in there, it just kept opening and closing a browser again. Tried several times to get it to do something else but nothing seemed to get it to work.

Horrible app. It doesn't make sense to make all internet user controls and benefits be available ONLY in app. There is very little I am able to do from the cox website without being directed to use the app. The app doesn't ever work correctly after 5 years of cox service. It used to freeze all the time and now recently, when needing to change some settings and hook up a new router, I discovered the app won't even open, it just redirects and shuts down after several attempts in the past week.

This app is literally cox. The app literally only works if and only if you're wifi is working, otherwise, you have no options. Cox has always been notorious for bad internet and until literally a few days ago, it was our only option. But either way, the app sucks, you can't do anything on it, the internet sucks, they will crash it intentionally to make you "have to" purchase the next level up. Just get literally anything else.

App keeps crashing when searching video. Hard to pin point when this person came into my yard overnight with this bug. And yes I've uninstalled and reinstalled, cleared the cache and restarted my phone. It worked a couple of weeks ago and now it doesn't. Roll it back so we have a functional app.

I have been with cox for a while but only for the past 2 years have I rented their modem/router combo and been able to use the app. it works most of the time for the most part. there for awhile it wouldn't show if my kids bedtime was applied or not. it messes up and shows outages when there isn't any. overall I am happy with the app. If my kids aren't listening I can pause their access to the Internet and I love that.

If you have a power outage and the router forgets you have internet, you can't log in to the router with their app to reboot the router or troubleshoot b/c the app requires an internet connection to log in. Literally the most brain dead design for router management I have ever seen - requiring an internet connection to manage the internet connection device. If Cox wasn't the only option at my location I would have immediately canceled my service over this terrible app.

Cox WiFi is HORRIBLE! We have Panoramic Wifi from Cox. At the end of March, all of a sudden, our wifi stopped connecting to my home computer. When it does connect, the speed tests show the downloads speed as below 10 Mbps and upload speeds at less than one Mbps. We pay for 1000/100 Mbps. Called COX about the issue, they sent a Technician out who told me, "There must be metal in the wall between rooms that's blocking signal". REALLY? All of a sudden, after years of connecting daily???? NOT!!

Horrible Service. Do everything you can to not have Cox. I have spent well over a year with terrible download speeds, terrible upload speeds and extremely inconsistent service and it's the only one that they provide in my area. I spend over $100 a month paying for service that maybe I get $20 of use out of. Please do not use them.

Iv had the most ridiculously frustrating experience dealing with this app. It makes my whole phone go bizarre, clicking from the app sign in screen, to cox login on my browser, to a blank browser screen, and rapidly repeats. Iv restarted my phone, Iv uninstalled the app 3× and reinstalled it. Iv ran a software update and reboot on my device. Iv contacted customer service to be told adamantly I don't have panoramic wifi, and I do. I had to ask more than once to speak to someone else before I was

I have no other option for wifi in my area. The app is good and works well, but I wish the wifi worked as well as the app. My wifi service is out more than the amount of times it works. My husband has called and fussed them out so many times and we keep being told to buy more equipment to make it work. NO! We pay too much for this service, it should work.

Literally nothing useful in this app works. Testing connection, removing devices, restarting the tower...it's all "Something went wrong" and just forces you to call customer support, which completely defeats the point of having an app entirely. They charge way too much money every month for not even having an app that is functionally sound to make their overpriced, throttled WiFi work properly. I'm guess I am glad the billing part of it works? How very dystopian of Cox.

Cox REQUIRES this app if you want to change the name or password of the WiFi router they supply. It claims to identify all connected devices, but that "feature" needs work. "Generic IoT device" is not very informative. It does alert you when a new device connects, but doesn't (can't?) tell you much about it. It needs a switch to PREVENT (or allow) new devices to connect. My recent list of connected devices included six cell phones that were not mine. I wouldn't use it at all if I didn't have to.
