More times than not, the app will not open when I want to disarm the house. Comes up with an error or can't connect. Leaving the house I don't normally have a problem. It seems to work better when I am not on WiFi. I am using an LG V20 Android phone. Please fix this. I need to be able to get in the house quickly and waiting for an unresponsive app is unacceptable.

The app is bad and the devs should feel bad. A lot of things I want to do are only available via the full website. The ability to live view my doorbell camera has been broken for quite some time. My biggest complaint is the saved doorbell clips. If you want to mass delete them you have to select them one at a time. Very frustrating and has me considering moving to a different security company. Update: doorbell still broken

If you need to check your cameras quickly and you may be in danger- calling 911 might be faster. The police will arrive before the camera shows any footage. Worst "security" ever. Should have just bought a Ring camera or went with a different security company. Disappointed is an understatement. This app will make you want to throw your phone. I do not feel secure. Period.

The camera is distorted most of the time, saved videos disappear. Req stream isn't a req by me.I think the someone else does it from the company.Videos won't always display. Some1 rings the door bell, videos arent always there. Added a new camera a couple days ago & the CPI tech del all protected videos after telling me I was 2 back them up before installing the new camera. It says a bug is a person and the bug rang the 🚪 🔔 too. Wow! 📷 #3 I'm done!

Cameras miss a bunch motion as it happens and then send a delayed video after the motion and nothing is on the video. The doorbell camera malfunctioning sound is low, and my voice sounds robotic and has lots of static. I can not hear the person on the outside at all.! I about ready to switch systems for real. But I do like some features.

App is extremely unreliable with notifications. I've had people ring my doorbell while I'm away and when I try to answer the video doesn't connect. A red circle just spins and spins then gives an error message. Its extremely annoying! Sometimes if i hear a noise outside my home, I'll try to check out the camera to see what's happening. It takes FOREVER to connect! If anyone was around my doorbell or in front of my house trying to break in, they'd be gone before I could even access the camera!

Unable to use the doorbell function because your app is too slow and I can't even SEE the doorbell camera on the Web version. CPI does not work with Google Home, the indoor cameras do not do what the salesman claimed such as audio with video or night vision. Unable to set-up automation settings with On/Off times for security like ADT (with far superior products). Way too much lag time with every. single. thing and after several reports of service issues I still have not received a follow-up call. The security system is only as good as ones ability to use it and I am not getting what I paid for.

The app is ok it has pretty good functionality. the functionality that I think is missing that would make this app complete is if I could enable and disable my alarm on a schedule. like automatically enable at 1am in the mornings and disable at 6am.. That way my alarm is always set and if I wake up to take out the dog through the back door the alarm does not go off because I for got to turn it off. it would have automatically turned off based on the schedule. I would then have a working hours sch

This app takes three or more attempts to change the thermostats in my house. I'll change the temp on it, you see the circle moving showing that it is communicating with the thermostat and it reverts back to it's original settings. I'll have to fight the stupid thing multiple times before it finally takes hold. I despise this app sometimes.

When it comes to security for our home, we don't want anything to be compromised. Not even the app which allows us to view areas of our property on demand. While this CPI Security app works, it's not always consistent. Some of the areas being viewed will "time out" rather quickly or not load all together. A couple of times, the cameras did not detect motion, therefore, nothing was recorded. An Amazon deliverer drove his van up to my home and carried a huge box...Nothing was recorded! 3 stars

This app worked when I 1st signed up for service but now it's all over the place. I'm constantly having to call about cameras not working, there's no panic button in app...I mean c'mon! Notifications work here and there. Doorbell camera often disconnects or doesn't record events, hairspray will set off the smoke detector, they don't let you know about updates unless you call in, and I'm regretting getting this system.

The Android app provides an irritatingly limited subset of the Web site's functionality. The navigation is unnecessarily complex, and finding out how to set things like alert sounds is unintuitive and difficult. One BIG issue is that there 𝗶𝘀𝗻'𝘁 a separate alert tone -- nor actions -- specific to a doorbell being rung! The app had one back in 2017 - no longer. FAIL! Now if the bell is rung, it's just another alert like a door being opened. Pushing DB used to make phone "DingDong". No more.

Doesnt work well at all. There is more troubleshooting than anything. The camera are clear when they work which is 10% of the time. CPI needs a while technology upgrade/revamp. It feels as if I'm in 2010 with this stuff. Have a love feed for the doorbell, most other places do. By the time you get into the app the person is either banging on the door thinking you didnt hear the bell or has left think you are not home. My peep hole does a better job. Uhhhggg! Frustrated.

Notifications are inconsistent. Late at night no notifications at all. CPI seems to be going backwards in customer/tech support. I've had to make too many trouble calls for a system that's supposed to protect me. CPI is having issues with door bell notifications and associated clips. Up to 5-months ago everything was great. They are changing their method of notifications. Sad, techs show up, but are frustrated they can't resolve the issues.

The camera misses a lot. It start recording in advance and by the time something happens it disconnect. If something else happens right behind it you miss it. It picks up so many lights that you get nothing because you run out of clicks before the end of the month. The cameras aren't real clear and it's a waste if you're looking for security.

Bugs! Clicking a notification now brings you to the live video instead of the recorded clip -- so annoying! Also annoying to wake up and see 5 notifications of animals in your yard overnight, and none of them take you to the clips they indicate. Limited cloud storage of recorded clips, but deleting clips in the app is PAINFUL! Only other option is degraded use of the app w/ no recording. It won't just overwrite old clips! Too much to fit here. Love the service. App is a little frustrating.

Useless mostly. Notifications come in 13-15 minutes after the fact. 90% of the time I get an error message when trying to arm/disarm when I'm not close enough to connect to my home wifi. Update to my last review: The app just keeps getting worse. After the last app update in Nov 2022, you can't even watch live video. It just spins and gives an error. Might be time to switch companies.

Receive security notifications 7-10 minutes after the fact. I've had cars enter my driveway, people have walked up my 250 ft driveway to my front door and back to their vehicle before receiving security notification. Sometimes I don't receive notification or video clips at all. Takes several attempts to load live feed, after which, person/animal has already left. What's the point of security threat notifications, several minutes after the fact? Extremely unreliable, useless security system.

The "Pause/Resume Recording Schedules" shows all of the camera rules you've created. Why is there no "all off" and "all on" switch? I have 21 rules created. Whenever I visit the business, I have to turn them all off. Otherwise, the cameras are recording multiple video clips and I'm getting text messages like crazy. Presently, I have to manually turn off all 21 rules ONE AT A TIME. This is ridiculous! This is evidence that the software engineers don't test the features of this app before releasing it to the public. Anyone who's ever used this app would immediately notice the omission of this feature. On the "Live" video tab, there's no provision to rearrange the order of the camera views. You should be able to customize the order of camera panes via "drag and drop". The app only allows you to suspend "Push" notifications. All of my notifications are "text" notifications. You can't suspend text notifications using the app. This means I have to suspend them on my computer before I visit the business. Again, there's no provision for "all off" and "all on".

I can only give this a 3 star rating at the moment. When viewing my outside camera, the date/time gray strip doesn't disappear to the background, and the entire top of my driveway and mailbox can't be seen. I can't even see my packages on the ground on the inside of my fence, nor can I see anyone walking or pulling up to the fence. That feature needs to be automated on this app. The notifications for the outside camera don't pop up on my phone either. I have to rely on my Ring cameras for that.
