[EDIT:Mistake made, the only bad thing that happened was the points. The rest got fixed by itself. 😭] It used to be good until i updated the app 2 days ago, and now it took all my points away. not only that, but i recently did a survey only for it to randomly stop and get a message saying "something went wrong" and gave me 0. all of that saving just for it be taken. waste of time.

Awesome app! They've always been on time with gift cards. Even done one on one surveys for larger $ cards. The surveys are, for the most part, interesting. Although recently, I had to drop the rating to 3 stars - you can't actually leave a message/email with a person, as to the functionality of the software. Since the update a few days ago, everything works fine EXCEPT: when having to type out an answer, there's NO WAY to get the "check" (✔️) to advance the survey to the next question/survey.

It's not really user-friendly. Keeps throwing up messages "app isn't responding - canx or wait." Also, selecting year of birth was a grind, going back 12 months at a time to reach my year 1956 from the current date. Why don't they allow for the year to be edited. Instead of clicking? Tried to chat msg, but the system did not understand. So far, for day 1, I have a frustrating experience. I had so many crashes while waiting for my answers to upload, I hope the system improves.

This had been a wonderful app with great rewards. However, I never received the last gift card I requested that was worth 4,000 points. It was a $20 gift card. My fault for not cashing out sooner, but I definitely won't be recommending or using this app anymore. Their only customer service now is an AI bot. Waste of time.

Well this app was totally awesome and I used it daily, multiple times a day even but then it just went blank and completely stopped offering surveys. I'm not sure what happened. I even cleared the cookies from my phone, uninstalled the app and then reinstalled it and still nothing. I'm going to keep it on my phone for another week in hopes that it will work again, if it doesn't then I'm going to delete it all together. Hope this helps the next person out that's thinking of using it.

I've been using crowdtap for years! I absolutely love crowdtap. Super easy to use, just answer the questions on their surveys and earn points. They have incredible rewards such as Amazon gift cards, which is what I usually aim for. Super fun and easy. Highly recommend to anyone! 5 out of 5 stars!

The app crashes frequently when trying to answer surveys that are unfinished. At times, you will get to a point in a survey and it will freeze. When trying to resume the survey, the same thing happens. Too frustrating. I earned a gift card, but won't continue to use the app.

Edit: Support refuses to answer back. I have 2 gc that they said were sent but were not in my inbox. Their chatbot tried resending the code but insists email is wrong. The email is correct and I had been getting gc pretty regularly without issue. Its Beren a week since I opened the ticket and no one has answered back. I really like this app as it pays out and has a reasonable amount of points to redeem. Easy to use.

I couldn't even get started. I created an account and provided my phone number. It was supposed to send a code to verify. It never did. I waited the required 5 minutes, then clicked, "Resend Code". It then said, "Too many requests." Will not let me in the app past the screen asking me to verify phone number, yet says I've submitted too many requests. Hasn't stopped them from already sending 3 emails. Very bad quality tech.

Opened up app to fill out my info to get started. I accidentally mixed up the last 3 numbers to my phone number ( I just don't call myself enough 😁). Then it said I tried to many times. So I closed out of it, tried again, said my email was already in use. Then tried to start with my email and password and it said my account was disabled, please contact support. But there's no way to contact support 😕. Complete BS!!!!

It has issues. I updated. I've turned on and off my phone. I have one square to finish ok. When I go to open it and it says to watch something and it's always the same a picture of my home screen on 2 pages and then it kicks me out. What the heck. I've never had problems b4.

I have had Crowdtap for a few years and thought it was one of the best survey apps. I have always enjoyed doing their surveys. I like their setup. It kind of stands out from other survey sites. The surveys seem to go pretty quick and they are interesting. They use to pay you within 2 days like their site says but over the past few months it's now taken about 5-6 days. Sometimes more...I'm on my 6th day and still waiting. I lost my motivation to do surveys with them because of the long wait time.

This app was a solid five stars up until about a month ago. I was making decent money, supplementing my Christmas budget and the occasional lunch. My morning would typically start with a full panel, plus more throughout the day. However they suddenly dropped to practically nothing - one or two on a good day. Basically crumbs. I see a lot of people are having this issue and not getting more than a canned response so either the app is dying or they're prioritizing new users to keep looking good.

Been on this site for several years. They ask a variety of questions, at a variety of points. I have turned in, and been rewarded with several gift cards from this. So far the app itself, seems to run properly. My review overall doesn't change, just sometimes the app itself will glitch out, by not scrolling, freezing, booting out, etc. Also, sometimes on some of the questions, I feel that the answer of all the above, or none of the above, or other should be included more often.

It *was* pretty cool, I've been using it for about 7 months and earned a decent amount of gift cards (nothing crazy, but still at least a couple hundred dollars worth over time). Lately though my surveys have completely disappeared. I always answered truthfully and carefully, and never got a warning saying I was flagged or anything (if they even warn you?) but the last week or so I have gotten maybe one or 2 short surveys a day, worth a couple cents. I guess it's time to uninstall 🤷🏻♀️

⚠️⚠️I'm only giving it 5 stars in the hopes that this will be seen. BEWARE: My account was disabled for no reason. I just started my account and was going through the tutorial. I haven't done any surveys yet, and when I tried to log back in, I was told my account was disabled. Upon doing research it seems this is an common issue, even if you have accumulated points. They will disable your account and you won't get to use your points. All that time will be wasted for nothing.

The mid June 2024 update RUINED the functionality. Now the app is very slow and won't acknowledge when you click to rank items in a survey. It's also eating up my battery. / Previous review: This app has error messages pop up throughout (i.e. "cannot communicate with the server" when trying to submit a survey or "error processing request" when trying to complete in progress surveys). Sometimes, they'll disappear while I'm completing them. I had a 36 day streak, but somehow it was reset.

It took me a long time to get 5000 points from my 25 dollar gift card. But the serious problem is that, and I'm keeping track of it, is that every single time I go into it after a day, I start losing points and never keeps the same pointage; so therefore I get the impression that they allow this just so they could save money and slow the payouts. I believe this is the reason why they disabled the phone from doing a screen shot is to prevent users from keeping track of their points.

App was great at first , didn't lag,crash. Could get points really fast. Payout takes almost a week but that's ok. Now over a month later. I'd be lucky to get in a couple surveys a day...constantly crashes, freezes, your on a survey but then it takes forever to get through the questions then it crashes, and it won't save the survey so you don't get any points. Frustrating at most, I'm about to give up. This was the best one on here so it's a shame.

I have had this app for a couple of years and have had no issues at all up until recently. I have earned gift cards that take over a week to appear in my account that used to come in two days. I just earned a 3000 point reward and now my account is disabled and no reward pending. I have been flagged and have done nothing wrong. It seems to be a common issue with others. I contact support and get no help.
