This game is only playable if you have a subscription to Crunchyroll gaming. It's not a free app.

Bought the game years ago. Crunchyroll bought the rights and abandoned the version I already paid for. I would rather pirate my anime than support Crunchyroll.

Despicable. I paid for this previously and now it's behind a streaming subscription. I would like a refund please or allow me to play the game as it was before without needing to sign in.

Loved the PC version, was incredibly excited for this version until I booted it up and was told I can't play unless I upgrade to crunchyrolls $12 a month plan?

I really really like Crypt of the necrodancer and i have bought it on Steam, but i cannot justify paying 10€ monthly for this on mobile. One of my hands is sliding towards a disassembler as we speak…

Just finished my first failed run and must say this is a good port. Admittedly low playtime but so far all my muscle memory from the pc version flowed immediately. Check reviews of the pc version of crypt of the necrodancer learn more about this game

Bought the original game before, but they removed it without a refund. I have premium crunchyroll, but apparently that's not enough to be able to play. How repulsive.

downloaded, and let it fully install and it won't start, just black screen for > 5+ minutes and nothing. 2 stars cause I'm not sure if phone is being weird or the game itself. I've tried restarting phone, uninstalling and re installing.

The touch controls in this are a huge deal breaker for me. I tried playing this on my phone, and the latency is off the charts. A near full second before my input to character reaction, IN A RYTHUM GAME! I've played this on other forms of media, and it is not near this bad. You're better off playing this on consoles

Absolutely astounding. Definitely one of my best experiences, very innovative. I don't get the low ratings to be honest; yes, it can be extremely difficult but you get better the more you play (+You can pick the Bard for an easy mode, if you really want). 100% recommend, it's one of the best games of the genre, quite up there alongside Soul Knight, Skull and alike in my opinion.

A fun game to be sure but as usual the control scheme ruins it. Either my fingers are slipping or it's not registering inputs on the virtual controller on occasion. Would be much more enjoyable with a controller. Edit: Tried the alternate control schemes. The touch controls require using the full length of the screen and changing the size of the d pad doesn't make it easier. A swipe based control scheme might solve the issues I have with it. Also if doesn't retain progress if you reinstall.

Will not launch. I've tried several times and it's a black screen. Edit: my issue was resolved and I enjoyed my first few attempts, very fun. My only gripes have to do with the controls as I often fat fingerd the wrong button or, when playing in portait, the second d-pad. Maybe a skill issue, but I will continue to play. Hopefully some UI settings are in the future
