It crashes very frequently which cause my kids to miss classes. Many times teachers need to find alternate ways to do remote sessions. When it is working it does what it's supposed to do. Bugs need to be worked out.

So far the app has been great for my family. Used to have problems finding homework but now that they have the ctls learn where I can access classroom and assignments I feel that will be very helpful. Going to try the ctls learn today. Okay checked it out and I can see messages from teacher. Assignments that are due. So far so good.

It was a terrible experience. Today was first day of school. My 2 child's do remote learning, By using CTLS learning app, one of them can login in, but can't reach the class. I send a e-mail to her teacher, she gave a link to a zoom, finally it's work for her class. Unfortunately, my older child has the same problem, even can' t login, we understand that appl still need more tests, of course I did the same thing, contacted the teachers of my older child, they have no any respond yet,I sent them several emails already. So I have to call school's front office. Whom worked there, ask me to bring IPad to school, check if school's wifi may work for us better! Excuse me, am I hearing wrong, so if it works at school, then when we go home, it won't be working! It wasn't the Wi-Fi connection issues please😂. They let me hold on the phone for a long time, and I have to call back, this time nobody answered, I don't want to say anything, you know how it feels like

Annoyed and Frustrated. The school is asking me to communicate via the CTLS parent app but, I have not been able to sign in because the app will not accept my password. When I type my password the letters are not displayed in the box, so I thought it was a security feature. WRONG!!! The app is not allowing the password to be entered, then it states my email or password is invalid. My email address and password is correct but the app is not allowing me to input the password. Please fix app ASAP

It works but a bit cumbersome sometimes. I've received posts for the wrong school or posts for my older child are under the younger childs school section. Not intuitive for sending messages to teachers. Cant just click the teacher name from the class list to send a message.

This app would be much more efficient if the kids were actually in school learning. This is not good for virtual learning, which it is being used for. The kids need to be in school! Face to Face! All it does is tell me that the system is down and then gives false information that it is back up when the system is still clearly not working......

Useless, redundant. This was "essential to keep parents informed?" No. Some posts go to email, some here, so I'm missing communications. NO visibility to student assignments! Useless as parent Edmodo. Go back to teacher blogs! Student schedule is already in ParentVue. Email addresses are randomly listed, not by name or subject, can't refer back to older posts. Just another waste of our money on yet another garbage app to give the illusion of improvement. Terrible. Uninstalling.

App is not as great as it should be, takes forever to upload anything and always times out. Its hard to figure out just where you are to submit certain information. The only good thing is you can message all the teachers at once if needed. Teachers do a great job trying to provide support, but sometimes they don't know the answers either.

I think that the App could be better laid out. I don't find it effective to communicate but difficult to keep track of past messages. Also my App always opens for a school I do not have children enrolled in and I have to search for my child and their school.

I like the ability to talk to the teachers and be notified about assignments... mainly the communication factor... the one thing that is real frustrating to me is that I have lost my sign in... The app doesn't do a good job of recovering it so once you're blocked out just blocked for good it is real frustrating.its so much more of a headache than helpful...

I can not log into to access CTLS Parent using the App. I am able to see it off the app, but I can not access the app. I am logging in with the credentials. They say they haven't heard this, and I see some reviews that are having similar issues. This is a bit frustrating.

App is great for accessing messages from school, seeing which classes your kids are in, and getting in touch with teachers. It would be nice to have a built in agenda that updates student assignments each day as a part of it. The student portal needs help, too. Most teachers have not updated their blogs since the first day and trying to chase down asignments and due dates is aggravating. The CVA platform puts this one to shame.

This app worked great until about a week ago. Now it won't keep me logged in, and when I log back in, it says "session expired, please log in again". It just keeps looping back. I've Uninstalled and reinstalled, and that didn't fix it.

Wish you could access your child's account to see assignments and projects and due dates. My kids are older and are doing great keeping up but younger kids need parents/guardians to have access to what has been assigned,when it is due,what is missing, what was late. It is crucial to help parents help their children and be a better team with the teachers to help the students have success!

I like the idea but it just didn't flow. I hated using the app. Helpful tips...the assignments should have direct links to them so that we can easily help our children instead of going back and forth looking for the assignment; which Absolutely frustrated both of us!! Emailing the teacher, I get it, we do can do that through our own email. Should have a notification and reminder- better yet, a text messaging system or something of the sort

Update: Now it crashes when I try to access Important Links. We're down to one star. Either there's nothing of value in this app or it's buried so far down that it's useless. I can't find progress reports or any messages newer than two months ago. I have to go to the website to do or find anything. So what's the point?

I like it to receive information of the different schools that my kids are in. I do not like how it's slow. I get an email 4 days ago from a teacher. What!?! Too late now. It doesn't notify me when I get a message either. It gets very frustrating. I've missed my kids zoom field trips. It's a mess. I've tried to go to settings and maybe it's been pushed accidently for notifications. I camt find it. Anyways, I do like it but hate how I get late messages.

As a companion app it functions, but is limited to texts with teachers, which could be accomplished through many other polished apps. As a companion app, the rating is derived in how well it enables parents to interact with the child's app, which in this case is again limited solely to texts with the teacher. Thus 1 star and unnecessaey app akin to 90s bloatware.

(3/7/23 the new update has fixed this issue.) Everything was working until the most recent Nov 2022 update. Since this update, I have not been able to turn on App notification. Whenever I try to turn it on, it will be briefly shown as turned on with the option "Digest" selected and then turned off automatically soon after. I could no longer receive any instant notifications from teachers and schools. Wonder if the developers can troubleshoot and apply fix in the next update.

Sophos rates this as a low reputation app. There are SO MANY open holes in the coding of this app its not funny. The camera and microphone, when used by this app, can record at will. The app can install other apps without permission, the app can delete, rename and encrypt files on the device without warning. The list goes on and on. I will be sending this info to the developers, and I do NOT recommend installing until these issues are fixed.
