This App is Brilliant! Also very useful, you can use it to see the positions of the planets, and the view of the sky, on the day you were born. Or any other day! Gives sunrise and set times, moonrise and set times, every eclipse, solar and lunar, and a lot more as well. Widgets and live wallpapers are also excellent, I'm using the 3d moon phase background currently, it's beautiful!

Great, has everything, in fact almost TOO much. I basically just wanted an app that shows me moon phases and dates, most of the technical info I don't understand. However, best moon phase app available, esp widgets! One complaint: you have to set notifications for each phase by hand and you can't set a particular clock time for each, only time in relation to the event. They're all different, I don't want a notification at 4 am etc. Fix that and it would be perfect!

It's free and no ads, it's also very in depth and impressive! It not only shows the moon phase but also if its visible, when it will rise and set, and can also tell you about other planets and stars not just the moon. The only thing I'd say is difficult is navigating the interface, but it's not too difficult to catch onto. I really recommend this app above any other.

There are few Apps that make it through multiple phone upgrades, this is one of them. Been using daily for years. It has more data than you can successfully use each day, yet is simple to use and self explanatory. I've never once had a crash or glitch, smooth and precise. They really have thought of everything. Also like the widgets for fast info without having to open the app. As a skywatcher and picture taker, I use this app at least 5 times a day, every day. Highest recommendation.

If you like to be informed, this has copious amounts of information with fabulous graphics. My gripe is that it is difficult to find the lunar phase calendar. I wish it was easily accessible in the bottom tabs where it has moon, sun, sky, orbit, et cetera. It would be an exceptional app if it had easier access to the calendar. Make it more accessible to those of us beyond middle age.

I use this app daily. Sometimes just sitting with the data pages that show the second by second planet, Sun, or Moon position changes or swiping to see the past or next days. The accuracy and details are outstanding; our entire solar system ready to explore - ad free and minimal permissions! Runs reliably and solidly. There is a planet notification feature where you can set reminders based on its position, phases, visibility. The app offers so much to satisfy or motivate astronomy curiosities.

Good way to track moon phases and rising and setting times. Really nice widget! Easy to use. Many other great features allowing you to see how all the planets are placed in the sky. Also you can 'time travel' back into the past and forward to the future. No ads. I occasionally donate anonymously using PayPal Thanks for such a great app. It's exactly what I was looking for.

Amazing app! Tons of extremely useful information on phases, orbits, and a ton more. More than I can use, and widgets are nice to have to know what phase the moon will be in so I'm not blinded looking for DSO's! Highly recommend, I went through about 10 different apps with shady adds, requiring a ton of shady permission to my contacts, photos, messages etc. The only permission I'vs been asked for is gps so far.

I don't take the time to rate apps. Ever. But this one absolutely deserves it! Generally speaking, when you get an app like this,The options available are rarely unaccompanied by an incessant string of ads. even then, the free options usually have a boring range of choices that vary from being able to see the planets' projected path, to when the moon will be full again. Thank you! I think I might have to donate to this one, will update after I've had it for a little bit!

It's a great app for all of the info it offers about the moon and planets. I was looking for an app that displays the moon phases on my home screen as if the moon is floating over the wallpaper and this app does that and much more. It's perfect for astronomy students or casual observers. Thank-you for the work that went into this unique app. If anyone can't find the widgets, look in the widget tray associated with customizing the home screen. I didn't find mine right away but wanted to change widgets on screen and there the Daff widgets were!

Love this app! Easy to use, intuitive, and as scientific as you want it to be. My go-to for all solar system events. I travel a lot, and one setting I wish it had is to truly automatically (i.e., not require me to do anything) set the app to my current location on opening instead of me having to open the Location setting and obtain the location "automatically", which is really just a bunch of steps I have to perform to change the location. Still 5 stars, though!

Hands down the best orrery app in the Play store. Does exactly what it says on the tin. Whether you need the full astronomical details of the solar system and celestial bodies' position within it or you just want to know when the next full moon is, this app can do it. Would love to be able to change the icon style of the widget, but that's it. Otherwise perfection. I'd give it ten stars if I could.

Great tool for keeping track of the phases of the moon. I do remote healing sessions and work with the energy of the moon. This is a great tool to have in hand to coordinate that! There are also other features I love that helps me learn more about the sun, planets, orbit, etc! You can customize and narrow down what you want to see too. Highly recommend! ❤

This app is ridiculously amazing. It has an absurd amount of data in it and a lot of settings most people wouldn't think about. You can see the location of the moon (and the phase), the planets, and the stars in real time. It tells you the rise, set, zodiac, altitude, and orbits of the sun and has a 3d sphere that you can move around to see the positioning of everything from a ground perspective. Whoever made this obviously put a lot of time and effort into it and it shows.

The best free app of any kind that I have ever used. And, amazingly, this app is without advertisements! Provides abundant, accurate information. A seriously fun and interactive app with tab views for moon, sun, planets, sphere, sky, and orbits of all the planets in our solar system...reaching all the way out to Pluto (can choose to display planet names, or not). Top menu provides a rich list of additional information to choose from and view seamlessly with just a click. Elipsis menu has theme options and "Hide status bar" for more screen real estate, among other things. Can use either page forward/backward double-arrows for 24 hour segments, or single hour forward/backward arrow to view moon, sun and planet positions, etc. - past, present, future data. If current view is not displaying real-time, a circular arrow refresh button (upper right) will slowly pulsate to indicate current view is not real-time, so that if you're fiddling with the app and lose your place, reset will immediately put the user back to real-time! Luurve it! Thank you, Daff Moon Phase!

App is extremely detailed and loads up quickly. Has a lot of cool features for people interested in celestial bodies. The feature where you can see your location in relation to the sun and moons postions is really cool and puts the world into perspective. I also like that it shows the planets locations in the sky. Something that I never really thought about before.

I've been using this app for years and it continues to impress me with every update. It has a great visual interface, will help you find planets in the sky, gives you notifications for any moon phase or other sky event that you want. Extremely accurate information for any location for eclipses, lunar phases, solstices and equinoxes, planetary alignments, and much more. Just a great app!

I absolutely love this app. I've had it for a few years now and I use it regularly mainly to find out where the current cycle is at and for planning ahead. But it has so much precise info on all the planets' current positions that it's truly impressive. I love the feature that allows you to skip ahead or behind by hour to see the changes. Really cool app, and the fact that it is free without ads is amazing!

I really love how easy this app is to use! Some of the pages are hard to understand, but honestly, that doesn't even matter to me lol its really cool having alot of info about the moon in real time and then i can just google what that means! I love that it has no ads but i definitely think its worth it to donate to keep it that way my favorite feature is that you can adjust the date so you can see what the moon looked like and other facts about it from the past

This is a must have for anyone who is obsessed with the night sky. I've tried other, more well known apps for my stargazing, and none of them have been up to par compared to this one! My fav feature is the moon widget you can add to your home screen, which is basically a calendar for the current moon phase. There are so many neat features on this app and it really is rhe most informative and best designed app that the play store has to offer! 10/10!
