The emulator runs fairly well on my Galaxy Note 10+. That being said, I was very disappointed that I paid the extra $9.99 to get gamepad support, just to find out there is no option available to remap the buttons on the connected controller. This is the first emulator I have ever used, whether free or paid for, that does not have this option. I would have given five stars and a shining review if this option was available. Now I feel like I wasted ten dollars!

This app has improved alot on the last update alot of games are playing full speed and it doesn't over heat my phone as much to the point that I don't want to play it as it used to be. Please update it so we can have full screen immersive support also their is some dead zone in the controller when playing with a gamepad. Also offline support

EDIT: newest update 4.1.1 takes away option to change the game resolution and aspect ratio, everything is stretched. No good any longer. Buy a PS2 console or use emulator on PC.--------------OLD: Seems to work just fine. Been able to play most games. To the DEV: Please make it so we can remap the buttons in the options. The controller I use defaults to the switch layout so the x-o []-∆ are reversed. Other apps let me remap it.

it's fine, not great. Plays games okay, but filled with so many speed hacks that it ends up breaking certain games. Lacks widescreen hacks. Lacks customization of gamepad controls (that I could find). Lacks customization of speed hacks. Lacks frameskip options. Lacks fast forward. Lacks cpu clock control. It's fine, nowhere near done or optimal. You're better off using a PC to emulate your ps2 games for now.

This emulator, despite all controversies, is exceptional. I mainly have to run games on "most compatible" settings for it to run properly, but even then with my snapdragon 865 I get 60 fps at full speed almost always (over 6gb games are obviously not going to run smoothly through and through). I however wish updates were more frequent. This emulator has a lot of potential, and I would love to see any Android PS2 emulator thrive, even if I have to pay.

The actual program starts and runs very smooth. Games like Fatal Frame 2 and FFX run pretty smooth, but Fatal Frame 2's cut scenes have this cool grainy effect like it's some terrintino version. But once I ran The Bouncer, it made my phone as hot as when you run VR!! My phone was practically burning up trying to force it. Weird. But then the key games I NEED to play. Matrix Path of Neo for instance. Only loads the menu and crashes. Then Devil May Cry 3 runs at like 5fps in game. Love parts of it. But I need it for The Matrix and games that don't have ports for on new systems. I have a Galaxy s9 Note. This needs debunk and clipping options like a Genesis emulator. So you can control slowing things down or speeding them up to aid cut scenes. Like Rise to Honor doesn't even load at all. It's not the same when the kung fu isn't working right.

I paid so I could play Wild Arms Alter Code F for PS2. I've experienced a lot of crashes with that game. If IRCS is set to instruction by instruction, it won't crash, but I'm running at around 10 fps in that mode. I guess it's doable, but there's no reason I should need to run the game at 1/6 speed to make it not crash. Some stretches are ok to run regular, but if I don't save state every 10 seconds, I could loose a lot of progress. If you fix it, I'll edit 5*. On the plus side, FFX works great.

Works well on the Asus ROG Phone 2 with the Kunai Game Pad, but could use the ability to remap buttons. When my controller is docked to the phone, I don't have the select or start buttons, but I do have two unused buttons M1 and M2 (recognized as BUTTON_9 and BUTTON_10, respectively). Unfortunately, remapping these buttons at the OS level requires rooting my phone, which would then cause DamonPS2 to refuse to start. So, until this feature gets implemented, I am out of luck.

This emulator sucks. I'm sorry to say this but don't waste your 10 dollars. Maybe it's just the games I chose but my phone is a high end phone with over 10gigs of ram and both games I've tried on them had weird vertical lines and limited options to take care of the difference graphically. Sound was choppy at times but still played. I say wait a while until they get this emulator perfected. But I like the concept and look forward to them working out the bugs.

Most games I've tried run but the cuts scenes and gameplay is super laggy. I can't change the controller layout, their's no real settings to change audio, graphics or the engine. I can't change saveslots from 10 to 4 but it won't save state anyways... great concept but a major tease. If you can make an update to fix these issues I would rate 5 stars and recommend it to anyone looking for a PS2 emulator. Kind of disappointed I paid $10 for an emulator I can't use. PSP is $5 & works better..

Overall it's a great start, gameplay is smooth overall with very few slow downs here and there but nothing that's not to be expected. There are some major graphical issues on some games that make it nearly unplayable or just freeze the game entirely. I know it can't be a problem on my end because I've tested these ISOs on my pc and they ran just fine with no graphical errors. Other than that this is a pretty good emulator, definitely looking forward to its development.

tried two games using my Galaxy S10+. Black and KH. KH was barely tested (it's a very long opening scene.) Black was a rough play. Cut scenes played great but once the engine started the game lagged heavily to the point of failure. I will not give up hope. I've got plenty of games to try. I look forward to any and all updates on the emulator. Please keep up the good work. It is not in vain.

It's alright. When I first downloaded it, my game kept freezing with no way of getting back to where I was. After 2 days of changing the settings it finally stopped freezing (at least not nearly as often). Fast forward a week, and now for some reason the app has started crashing and it just completely closes my game and deletes any save data created within the game during play time. It works great when it wants to, but that's not often.

I love this app! But some games have problems. Like Megaman X7 for example, it's my favorite game from PS2 and I downloaded it to play it. Once I started playing it, I noticed Axl's body was blacked out and so were the shadows. (Update) Characters body is still all black after your newest update. The enemies/lasers are also invisible! I can only see them when they get targeted by the character!

App keeps telling me I'm not connected to the internet thus not being able to connect to the server. I'm in fact connected to the internet and don't have problems on any of my consoles. Also noticed an issue where it won't recognize a save file. I logged over an hour of gameplay abd though it shows like it saves the game, when you come the app and play the game. It won't recognize the last save point. Causing you to lose progress. This has happened to me three times. Super frustrating.

Unsatisfactory. this emulator cant run need for speed, or the sims. the sims crashes upon loading, and the need for speed games are disgusting to looks at, and unplayable. I hope the dev's of this app fix the artifacting issues as soon as possible. maybe one day I'll be able to play kingdom hearts on here without it having a stroke. phone is a Samsung galaxy s10+. I guess it could just be a compatibility thing, but there's no way to be sure. please fix this app, devs. I'd really like to play.

I do believe this will be a great emulator. However there are a lot of issues with anything I've played. Everything from severe stuttering to graphical issues. And I know it isn't the ISOs because I have the same exact files on pcsx2 with no issues. I definitely hope Dev can put more time and money into this emulator, especially with it being $10 dollars. Also, these issues are on a Galaxy Note 8.

Looks great, and shows real promise. (Update 09Mar2020) After waiting a good bit I decided to give it another go with Dark Cloud as a test. It f**king works great! Been getting around 60 frames avg. The (fastest) presets help tremendously for an easy fix if you want more fps. If you're curious about it, definitely give it a shot. It's only getting better over time, and it definitely shows it had.

I loved this emulator when it worked, but here these last few months I can't even enter the app always says it's under maintenance. Its been saying that for months now. So much so I picked up aethersx2. I'm loving aethersx2, runs full speed no internet requirement. It's free as well I'm running it on a older phone, now at least and it still runs above 2x native. Literally payed for something that I can't even use 9 times out of ten after a certain point. I'm hoping this gets fixed soon.

It's got some bugs but overall it's decent. I had to take it down a peg because you can't play offline and that sucks. Why? It's an unneeded feature. I wish I could open and play whenever but if it's bogged down because a lot of people are using it (I'm assuming) it doesn't open so what's the point in buying g the pro version if it hardly ever opens. If I play at 1am est I have no issues but I don't typically stay up that late.
