Dats is X- rated and not suitable for all ages. For cheaters and perverts forsure! Great place for free porn photos. The chat function is ridiculously tedious and almost all messages have included sexual propositions. I just delete. Just collecting the NRDs. There are also some really good groups but unfortunately I'm stuck spending time filtering out the scum.

Wonder full app I love it but I have a few recommendations that I hope you take into consideration what about the ability to let the download the picture you send them because sometimes people wanna send pictures but not know who sent them Or Have a VPN in the app so if someone sends a link we can just put on the VPN And my last one is A link checker to see where the link gos if it's secure of there's anything malware attached to it I really hope you do these

The private & secure text messaging concept the world needs! This is a great app with massive future potential. So many great things they can do with this tech. Think audio & video messaging or even paid subscriptions.

Would like more information on the encryption used in the app before just trusting it (prove it's not the next ANOM). That aside, the app does have some unique features that the screenshots and description don't truly convey - check it out yourself (once the encryption issue is addressed). BTW no dark mode theme?

Pioneer in providing the world's first private social network platform! Exciting to see messages disappear from my phone and the phone of the person in which I send a message. You also have the ability to prevent screenshots and forwarding of messages and pictures you send to someone. Truly awesome and private social network app!!!

Awesone self destructive message function and anti screen shot feature i love the features...and app is awesome but there one problem the app is giving issues on mobile network...it does not connecting or it takes so much time to connect...plz resolve this issue....if this issue get solved your app will rock the world...

The future of social media. This is going to be perfect for business use or for personal use. Either way there's no point in having your data wind up with a third party or in the wrong hands. This is exactly what America needs! I liked it so much I bought the stock! Update - stock killed me😹🪓 Also after months of use I had to "turn off anyone can message me." It's kind of like early stages of Craigslist crazy and wild so you have to turn off anyone can message you.

This has some very cool features. It's nice to see an alternative to everything that is out there in the social network sphere. It is fantastic for privacy control of chats and groups. I believe it will just get better with continued development and adoption. EDIT:02/02/22 The developers continue to update and add features pretty regularly. The community continues to grow with new users and pages all of the time. I find myself using Dat Chat more and more. On Android without issues.

Really good idea! Definitely has potential to be the new popular social media platform. For businesses and big group socials and I could also see it in the dating scene. Much better than using Kik or Whatsapp or snap. Because they don't make it easy for the user to take snapshots not saying it's not possible just not easy which is a start. Keep up the good work datchat! Also that's if you read this datchat add a dark mode that is the thing everybody is into nowadays ha

Very nice app upgrade to pro is cheap at 99 cents it gives people a chance to see if they like the app first with out paying alot of money to get the better features. My only complaint is the lack of ability to search for groups to join. I cant find how to do that. Get 5 stars if I could do that

The UI here is atrocious, it looks really bad and often glitches out. There is also no way to meet people one by one via chat, you have to rely on contacts, which is a bad option for a small social network that not a lot of people use already. There is potential here though so If these problems are fixed I'll rate 5 stars.

The privacy features and the ability to delete pictures and conversations from not only your device but other people's devices as if they never existed is awesome! Not to mention people can't screen shot and if they try you get alerted to it! Great technology 👏

At the end of January I spoke to them about something I wished was different in the app (copying what you write) and it didn't take them long and they responded back to me & made it possible very quickly. They worked fast to provide good customer service for a preference and the app is a good app. ..it also does not have ads like many others does. You need the other person to have the app for it to work, but it is a high quality app. I am happy. Thank you developers for all of your hard work 😀

Really interesting privacy features and has potential. Could use some nice UI upgrades. The only difficulty I have is manually navigating to my previous posts in groups if the notifications are dismissed. The notifications play sounds if you don't turn them off yourself, even when you're on vibrate/silent FYI.

Im really going to give DatChat five stars, but I just want to see if I can get a response from the designers about fixing something. You should have an offline mode since it says some features are not available.. ..meaning some features are. Like creating at least 1 room, you can create a room, set up the text and everything, and it will keep everything saved until you make a connection. Then that room would be available like normal. In case you are out of data range.

My experience has been rather pleasant. I was alerted to a screen shot attempt and the attempt was blocked and allowed me to block the individual that attempted to screenshot it. imho, this app will displace all other messenger apps . The block chain encryption technology is next generation. I look for Facebook, Google or Microsoft to buy them out. Another huge plus. All conversations will disappear based entirely on the length of time you determine they should stay up. 5 star app

Had to uninstall. Even when I turned the notifications off the sound would still go off constantly as if I were getting notifications. I never even got a chance to communicate with anybody on the app because the notifications from pages were outrageous. If they make it to where I don't hear the notifications 1000 times while listening to a podcast then I'll install again.

At first, I didn't realize how to use the destroy text within a certain time or how many times it can be viewed before self deleting. There is a small bomb icon next to the bottom text box that you can turn on and off with a touch. In the off position it texts as normal not hiding the text or anything, but you could always go back and destroy, or nuke what you have said. If you turn the bomb icon on you now can set how long your text last and they must hold the box on the screen to read.

Needs an Interface Overhaul. This app has the best security and privacy features out of any social media app, but it's user interface is very unpolished, and it feels like an outdated website. I feel like this app could draw in more users if it had a more attractive user interface. Another feature that would be nice would be adding different notification sounds to different contacts or adding an in-app guide to features that are not immediately obvious, similar to the tutorial chat.
