Trial of Champions
The twisted mind of Baron Sukumvit has redesigned the labyrinth of Fang. New traps, terrors, mazes, and monsters await at every turn. Before entering the labyrinth, survive the gladiatorial games of Lord Carnuss, the Baron's evil brother. Can you endure the Trial of Champions?

Can't even play the game. It won't start again when you close the game after you first open it. Edit: Got it to work on a different device.

Good effort but it was just not fun. Read the books themselves, this variant system tried but it just doesnt work.

Enjoyable adaptation of classic series. Would be better if the original art was incorporated into story, and character abilities/xp/equipment carried over to give a sense of continuity (e.g. Sorcery! by Inkle). Missed opportunity, but decent.

I absolutely loved this game. To the extent that I then bought 4 of their other games without even reading the reviews, just so they would do more work. They nailed this. Guys, please please please to Firetop Mountain and Return to Firetop amounting. It would work soooo well in this format

Good setup but bad process . don't understand why you want us to play with the 1/6 success rate dice . don't know why developper don't want us to complete the game this much , The live continue is helping with trial and error style play , but with the non sense dice roll system its still not enough to make this a playable game

As a fan of the original books, I am surprise by the way I can replay the books but in a totaly new way. Great job devs! Loyal to the original material but with a visual environment and a new mechanic. I love it!

A beautifully realised nostalgia trip, I am excited about the prospect of further books being released in this format. The conversion to a simple, more traditional Role Playing game with the option of backtracking made the whole experience more compelling.

Great game. Constant crashes. Tried on three different phones - S8, S8+ and Note. Its a real shame; on the one hand, it's a modern take of an old classic, lovingly told, yet on the other it's a crash-ridden mess that genuinely ruins each journey down nostalgia lane. The other game in the series works perfectly, not a single crash. Feels rushed and in the parts that did work better (Trial of Champions for instance) padded out with additional introductions that add nothing to the story, quite the opposite. Sorry team but this is not fit for purpose.

A really nice choose-your-own adventure type of game that has a boardgame like presentation. The dice roll mechanics are very simple and straight-forward and yet it create tense and exciting situations. While a major aspect of the game is pretty determined, the game does incorporate some rogue-like elements (cards) which helps create variation in every playthroughs. I really like the art, atmosphere, sounds and music which helps inspire your imaginations (a must in this kinds of game). 5/5.

So this game is an improvement over the previous one. You have lives now. Deathtrap Dungeon is very difficult to beat. Same as last time I just dont wanna sink so much time into a game like this. Difficulty is hard. Its easy to die and if you don't have all the gems for the end of the level than you get sent back to the beginning of the game until you get those gems. This is a good game but its just too hard for me. Brutal difficulty, dice rolls can go wrong and the dungeon is repetitive.

Im a huge fan of digital boardgames (Chainsaw Warrior, Talisman, Arcane Quest, Xenoshyft, etc...), and this one hits the mark and sticks the landing. Mechanics, gameplay, design, UI, sound effects, etc, are all AAA, considering the genre. Gameplay is as linear as any boardgame, meaning there's a fair amount of freedom given to the player, all the while still telling a story. There's really no guessing where to movie, since the player piece moves automatically (you just decide where to move). 5/5
