Fun app! Free version seems fine, but pro is very reasonably priced. One star off because the filters aka effects could be easier to use. They aren't in any order and each filter uses a different base picture so it's hard to figure out what the results will be, unless you wait through the transformation of your selected image.

This is without a doubt one of the best apps available for creating photos that look like art pieces. Deep Art Effects free version gives more filters than apps that charge yearly subscription fees that are close to $20 a year. I upgraded to show my support to the developer of this awesome app. Go ahead and download it. You'll be pleasantly surprised.

Impressed with Results 😂. The DAE (Deep Art Effects application) saves quite a bit of time when, let's say, posting a daily article, going out to a e-mail subscripción listo, there are images, diagrams, photos and the like which are intragal to the subject but sometimes lack visual oomph for the reader. The DAE can take away the "hum-drum boring son" of an image and transform it into a much more interesting visual. Try it. I made the purchase so I could eliminate their watermark for mine. 😷

So far, quite good! Has several sliders for tweaking the final result, so you can change not only the intensity of the filter, but the hue, saturation, contrast, etc., as well. More than a dozen free filters, and at least as many more, that would unlock in the premium version. I prolly won't use the HD print option, but it's a nice feature!

Love this app and the team behind it. Many AI/Style Transfer apps only allow modified images for personal use and prohibit commercial use. Some even retain partial ownership of the images that you upload to their servers. This app allows you to use their software to make whatever you want, for whatever you want! You have full ownership of your modified images (assuming you have usage rights for the original image). Dieter, who quickly answered my email about usage questions, was super helpful.

Love this app. Seriously some of the best 'artistic' 'crazy' 'intense' 'very unique' 'abstract' filters I've been able to find, specially all in one app. Normally you need like 3-4 apps to make photos look crazy different but still the same. This one has it all when it comes to filters that create an awesome distortion to the photo. Very cool. Thanks devs. Love your how many options there are to choose from. Makes it easy to get that 'Wooaaaaa cooooolll' reactions we all so badly want.. Haha;)

It's the overall best app I've found for custom-style-transfer art on Android, so the pro price is worth it to me. Also I think it gives the highest resolution for exported images. (Pro tip: run outputs thru Remini or similar to enhance/enlarge/touch-up smoothness). I really really wish there were some more adjustable pre-flight parameters (like on the Windows app), but I understand that processing limitations have to be taken into consideration for the masses.

2019 Still my favorite for a quick but surprisingly refinded filter... -original review-Wonderful look for my editing. Take a picture with a bit of style and run Gothic, or Surrealism, or another of your choice and you have a beautiful piece. Wish I could scale an image to a size for 4k screens and/or resolutions befitting 10x13 and larger prints. Keep adding new filters without(!) removing old ones. Pay/support is worth it for this one. Thanks

Very nice filters. If I knew what "bokeh" was, I might could tell you if it has this feature. Anyway, there are lots of high quality filters, and all different kinds; not just tweaks to make similar ones like I've seen with some apps. The processing is not super speedy, but I wouldn't say it was slow. I haven't timed it since it wasn't slow that it bugged me. I decided it was worth paying for, so there you go.

I downloaded this and immediately bought PRO because I wanted to remove the watermark. There are some great features. If you know what you are doing you can stack effects by saving one effect and then pulling the image back into the program for additional effects. I like that you can change the level of the applied effect as well as change the contrast level. Very nice for the price.

It's a good app. Not sure how much AI is actually at work because I can pretty much predict how things are going to look after using it for a while. I like the texture add with the new Vincent AI. That's was the one missing quality. I have gotten some beautiful results and find the interface very user friendly. There are other apps that do very similar things and maybe a bit better in some ways but Deep Art Effects is one of the best I've tried. Oh, plus it's pretty fast when rendering.

This does an amazing job, and the recent update processes much faster. Unfortunately, the recent update makes it impossible to navigate to anything other than some default pictures folder, rendering the app useless other than for those photos that happen to be there. Also, some features require a sign in, for no apparent reason. So one of my favorite 5 star apps that I paid for is now reduced to just 2 stars.

Not a bad rendering program. Haven't used it enough to find any serious shortcomings. And just like most rendering suites, it's true potential is limited by the photograph itself. A needed feature needs to be developed to strip all the layers off the photo to remove the layer(s) that usually ruins a photo, such a shadow behind or on the subject. I know how to take pictures using natural lighting and positioning to eliminate shadows, but I do get clients who don't know and ask me to improve on it

Pretty good... when it works. i even paid ti remove the ads. Three out of five times I try to use this app I get an error, and often I'll have to exit the app and reload the image to try again, and sometimes several attempts are necessary before I get a result. When I do get a result, though, it's quite good... it is just properly frustrating to get to a point where you have a useable image. This is promising app that desperately needs more work and attention from the developers.

The artwork is beautiful. I've only tried the free version so far. Some say the filters are all similar, but it depends on the supporting elements you have in your image composition. Good tip: including more colors, patterns, and/or depth in your shot will reveal the difference between two filters. The more variety in your image the more the filter can show its effect. So, there are a good amount of options. Amazing effects with little effort. Great for those w/o a lot of editing experience.

One of the best if not the best at turning images into art. However one of the latest changes is just infuriating. Namely the sudden switch up in accessing photos. Need to be able to access via a folder type interface instead of everything sorted by last added/edited image which is a nightmare when looking for something from months ago. No reason why this should be when it was fine before. A case of fixing something that wasn't broken leading to breaking it in the end.

When choosing a photo to edit they are not grouped in folders. You have to scroll down through everything, including your screenshots, to find the photo you want. It's enough of a waste of time that I'm definitely not going to consider purchasing the pro version. Other than that the app is really great, and I love the huge selection of styles available even in the free version.

Deep art effects is probably my favorite app on the app store. The desktop app is great also and if you buy the mobile app you should consider purchasing the desktop version too as it's a bit faster. I wish I could keep the styles saved to my phone for faster processing. Also, the ability to do a photo in each style versus one at a time would be great. Maybe in an update?

It's not like the other Ai or filter apps. They were the first, and it shows. One of a kind.I love this. This app has been in my life for years, when it first came out. I can't say enough. You should get it ! I have even paid for months and wasn't using it. It's just awesome to have in the toolbox if you're any type of artist or creator. It's easy to use and free and no annoying ads. Just get it and give them money.

The new version, August 2021, does not allow selecting a folder from your gallery. Instead it brings all your media gallery at once, so if you want to use a photo from months ago that you had in a folder, you either have to painfully navigate, or before running the program you have to make a copy of the file to make it go to the top of the entire gallery. Also instead of saving to your device, you now have to share/ download, which not intuitive. I hope they fix it.
