When I add track info, it only appears in recently added and doesn't show with other tracks. We should also be able to choose the order of our searches. It's getting there. At first my new tracks weren't showing at all. I want new tracks at the top and the ability to choose the order from oldest to newest. Tracks can file share, but the shared files don't play on Facebook messenger. It's getting better. I don't see your response though, only a notification that you responded.

I wanted to give it more stars since I've used the app for years But, this last weekend, it's been telling me that over half my music is no longer playable. It closed on its own while I was listening to music this morning. I just wanted a simple app for music. This morning it was playing an odd song, that I don't have, in the background until I restarted my phone. It was a good run I guess. But, this app will no longer be on my phone, and I will recommend against anyone else using it.

Overall it wasn't that bad. Played songs as it should, listed everything as it should. I was planning on keeping it up until the spammy notifications. I've counted 5 tines today alone with the different "Thank you for you feedback" and other random notifications that just seem to come with no reason. One of which being in some language I can't even recognize. This is the first time leaving a review on this app, so there was no reason for all those notifications. Going to uninstall later today

Long time user of an app with the same name on previous device. Assuming it's the same developer, no ads on that version. The ads in this version are unreasonably placed. I shouldn't have my desired tasks paused until an ad has run its course. Ridiculous. Other intuitive functions found in previous version no longer exist. I shouldn't have to scroll to find my Playlist heading every time I open the app, nor should I have to watch an ad before accessing it. Deleting.

I sadly have had enough. Over the years every phone I have purchased, I immediately downloaded this app. It was amazing until the format changed and ads were placed. I very much understand revenue and other factors, yet the ads have destroyed the apps enjoyment. Playlist do not work right and songs completely stop due to ads having to be played or shown while screen is active. I have loved the app, but it is comepletely drifted away from the greatness it used to be. Goodbye Default Music Player.

Woke up to an uncalled for redesign of something that worked (if it ain't broke....). Now you can't delete any files. No option to delete! I listen to podcasts and then delete to save memory space. Also can't FF or RW like you used to by holding down the forward or back arrows. Now it's requiring you to fat finger your way on an audio grid line....

Player worked great on my old phone, now with update to samsung a21 with android 10, the playlists no longer work. I've tried every solution I could find online. Nothing works. They show up but are all blank. Even worse, if I manually make them, the songs end up in any order they please and cannot be rearranged. The old version allowed this. Incredibly disappointed.

Over all a fan of the app. Simple and effective. Love the tape deck skin. Only real complaint is the handling of playlists is clunky and ineffective. If I transfer ready made playlists from my computer I wind up with duplicates. I have no idea how to transfer app made lists to conputer as I can't figure out where they save. Being able to set folder path would be useful here as I like to store on SD card. Also, app organizes songs in playlists in the order IT likes instead of my chosen order.

I've used this app for a really long time and it's been great!!! My favorite by far. 5 starts!!! Now all of a sudden it won't even open... I always get is "This app not responding ". I've even paid for the upgrade version with no ad's. I've uninstalled it and downloaded it again and same thing won't run. So until I get this resolved I give it 0 stars if I can. Please help me fix this problem.

I have to keep deleting and reuploading my music because the app decides to cut off at random intervals on my songs. It doesn't matter if I've listened to the song multiple times, or if it's been a while, the app will cut the song and then move on to another one. It will also play the most recent songs added to a playlist more frequently than the previously added songs.

I am confident that anyone who gets this app will enjoy it. For a person like myself, music is a part of my everyday tasks, and with the recent issue of ads becoming more frequent, I needed an app that wouldn't cause me an issue. This app does that. Granted, it will toss ads in when you have wifi or phone data/hotspot active, but aside from that, it doesn't bother me. It is a good app. And the simplicity of use makes it that much better.

I was just looking for a decent, capable and free app to copy music off my flash drive to my phone so my wife could listen to flash drive music and I'd still b able to have my jams too when I luckily found this one lol. I loved the music player and its very easy to navigate. I was skeptical about paying $6.99 to remove ads at first but after I saw just how much other stuff this app can do, it's well worth every penny!!!!!! It took the place of 4 different apps for me. At least try it !!!

This app is servicable and does indeed, play music. Unfortunately, there are just overall acessability issues and other minor annoyances. For one, it's not entirely clear how you get to the actual music player (tap the title of the currently playing song) in other words, a bunch of options and features such as looping your music (unavailable anywhere else in the app!) and the equalizer are seemingly missing for those unaware. Additionally, you need more than one song queued to loop music.

This app takes a long time to load and then plays a full screen ad with audio before you can begin try to use it. I uninstalled this program right away. There are far better apps out there that do the same thing without the obnoxious ads. I understand that ads are required for revenue but obnoxious ads which ruin the experience will not encourage users to purchase the pro version. I've purchased plenty of premium apps because the free version was already a great experience.

the old player was amazing, went really above and beyond and its layout, UI and overall performance, but this new update really changed that. The whole aesthetic of the basic original is gone much to my dismay, the UI is hard to control and select a song, I keep slipping to the wrong one. overall a major downgrade. I hope I can get the old one back somewhere. if the apps goes back, I'll change this to 6 star because that version was the best music player out there.

Thank you. I only used Play Music in offline mode. Now that they got greedy with You Tube Music I needed a replacement. This is it. I can listen to my music that I already own in the background. There IS a progress bar to track into the song. The notification area does have a close button when not listening. All controls are familiar. Works the same with my Bluetooth device including 3-clicks to go back a song. The adds could be way worse. Only a 30 second add to unlock the theme I wanted to use

Do not upgrade to this version. In the permissions, they have added more permissions than needed. They want to run a foreground service. This means you may not be able to stop the app, it will restart if you stop it, and they are accessing the install referrer API. This means you will be receiving push notifications based upon Target marketing. The music player you have as a default on your phone, is sufficient for playing music. DO NOT UPGRADE. I can't believe their response.

Well? I used to love the app... It was simple, and exactly what I wanted... Then the update happened... Now, my playlists are gone, the songs are in alphabetical order, rather than the normal order that they should be in the album, and when I use my bluetooth in the car and shut the car off, the music still plays on my phone, which sucks because I keep my media volume down so low that it plays until I am in a quiet space and hear the music emanating from my pocket... Wish I could give 0 stars....

Outside of a few minor gripes this is a solid music player. I love the trim option so I can trim a favorite song into a ringtone and unlocking cosmetics by watching ads ain't too bad either. Only thing I don't like is that it loads ALL of your sound files. So unless you specifically select all your music onto last played, your jam session can be interrupted by one of your phone's ringtones or message sounds and the only way to remove songs or sounds is to delete them from you phone.

I got the app before this new update, absolutely adored it, had no issues with it, it was all smooth sailing. And then the update came, and now my app won't work, I start playing a song and then the app doesn't allow me to pause or rewind, or sometimes when I press pause it will double the audio. If there's any way to fix this, I'd love to know cause I really do like this app.
