Seems like a good app, but the way it's set up it's a waste of time. Having to pay 3 bills in full defeats the purpose of trying to use the service, wasted time giving them all my personal information just for them to tell you to pay it in full when you did all of this to be able to pay in installments..I got qualified for very low amount and even after the first payment in installments won't let you use more than one third that amount very ridiculous. You're better off just using Zip or Sezzle.

They are not able to pay some bills electronically and in the beginning they want smaller bills that you can easily not defer , I get they want to build trust but telling you to mail the owner of the bill a letter explaining it will take a certain amount of weeks may not align with that bills policy incurring fees. I'm still keeping the app for when I have some added expenses like holidays when every bit helps , they also did offer another incentive to use it as well.

Make sure you don't accidentally create a duplicate account under a different email! Even after sending in the required verification via the web form, no one is acknowledging it was sent in. They're very slow to respond! The website shows they have chat but no one's ever available. LOL Either they're dealing with staffing issues or this is a soon to be dead service. On the positive side, I'm glad I have not paid for any monthly subscription yet.

I recommend deferit to EVERYONE!!! It help out tremendously. No late fees and you can change your payment day. Once a month low subscription for $14 you cannot beat that. This app help out with pretty much any bill. And you repay it whenever its most convenient to you. The only c9n I can think of is they sometimes have to pay your bill by check so I recommend you send that bill off 2 weeks ahead of time. Thank You to the people of Deferit

The app has been really helpful in getting my bills paid in full and on time until now. I really need a bill paid, but the app won't let me log in. It keeps saying it's unable to verify my device and to contact support if the issue persists. Well, I did and I got an automated response saying there's a delay due to volume of requests and the wait time is 5-7 business days. My bill is due today so whatever is going on couldn't have happened at a worse time.

Loved this app when it first came out and still love it . Def convenient for me to pay my bills but I've used this app a little over a couple months and subscription fee has jumped from 4.99 all the way up to now im Nov it will be 14.99! That's ridiculous. it was just 9.99 for a few months and I've received no notices on the reason for the higher fee. Yet, here we are once again paying a higher fee. Def considering shopping around for a similar service

When I first signed up for Deferit $4.99 I was singing the praises of the app and the customer service because they went above and beyond for me. But now the app is nearly unusable. There are very few companies that allow someone to pay the bill electronically without having to LOG IN first. So I wrote that they would likely need to call the biller and pay by phone. Then I get a notification that they doubled the up front amount and will take 7 days to send a check! Waste of time esp at $14.99!

pretty convenient service and not a scam- they have helped me with 2 of my bills so far and it was really helpful to have the option to split a bill in to 4 different payments over time. saved me from having my phone shut off! the only thing I had an issue with was that even if you have enough available credit to cover an entire bill, sometimes they will choose not to pay for the entire thing and will only pay a portion of the bill. which still is better than nothing I guess. check it out!

Does not load past the login screen on my Samsung Galaxy note 10 plus 😠 Works good on work phone most of the time, so 8/10 for that. Good easy user interface. Appreciate the ability to adjust a payment day, if I need to. A monthly subscription fee of $9.99 is a bit to much, sense being limited to only paying one bill, that don't even take up your full credit balance or even close to it.

I recently started using the Derferit Pay in 4 app and I am extremely impressed with its functionality. The app allows me to split my payments into four equal installments, making it easier for me to manage my budget and make purchases without feeling overwhelmed by a large lump sum payment. The app is user-friendly and easy to navigate, making it simple for me to select the items I want to purchase and choose the installment plan that works best for me. I also appreciate the notifications I re

I was skeptical at first using Deferit, I had the app just installed on my phone hesitant to use at first. I saw the amazing reviews and feedback from many customers who have used their service. I gave it a try with my power bill and I was amazed by the service I received, yet to mention how fast that bill a as paid within a matter of an hour! That's amazing, and 4 installment payments are very affordable as well..I would definitely recommend this app to co-workers, family, and friends.

The pay in 4 option is awesome. I used it for my electric bill. It pays the whole bill for you on the date you choose and let's you know what you paymnt amount will be and how much. Then when the dates come to make your paymnt you just need to have the payment amount in your account. I like that you can change the paymnt dates too if you know you will be short the paymnt amount. Con: I don't like that they charge the sub fee on a separate day I feel like it should be combined with a payment.

Would actually give ZERO stars if I could... OK, what isn't listed in the "about this app" info is you have to subscribe to a "Premium" plan to use the deferment services. At a cost of $14.99 a month, I'll look elsewhere. Also, it's not enough they're going to charge a monthly fee, you will also pay a $0.99 processing fee for each of those monthly payments AND any other "plan" payment made to them. That seems a bit on the petty side.

Absolutely love this app it has came in so handy when I've needed it. You literally upload a bill make a payment either suggested or a higher amount and they see to it your bill is paid in a timely manner and you make your weekly/bi weekly payments and poof the bill is no longer a issue you also have a option to pay the bill in full through the app which helps build your credit. Ive only noticed one con but I took it as an extra security measure the app couldn't authenticate my phone.

Prism really spoiled us and I hate that they're shutting down. There really isn't a good alternative out here. I thought this one would be good but when I signed up everything is behind a $15 pay wall. I figured paying a bill upfront would be a separate thing from paying in 4 and it's not. Prism had a better interface and did what this app does for free. I don't think there's a decent, FREE bill paying alternative out here.

I have been using deferit for a year I think and it's been really helpful for me. However I am an android user and have a galaxy s23, yesterday i went on to check bills, signed out and later that evening tried to sign back in to pay one and it said whoops can't verify device. Update: Spoke to someone and explained what's happening. Simple fix and all is good. Other than this one time, in 2 years I've had no other issues. I would recommend!!

This app has been amazing and so very helpful. Not only is it easy to understand and use but it really has been a life saver having the option to split up bills in to 4 manageable payments. Having the ability to change those payment dates when needed has also been one of my favorite features of the app and it makes all the difference having the freedom to choose which date the payments will be withdrawn. I would highly recommend this app for anyone

In all honesty, this app has had ups and downs. Having several payments decline during auto payment wasn't pleasant and the customer service aspect is not where it needs to be, frequently sending a robo email stating high frequency of calls. However, the concept is absolutely AMAZING! When it hits, it truly hits. I've used it for years and it's truly a refreshing way to pay bills not having to pay a lump sum in any given month. I'm overall thrilled with the app.

I have to pay 14.99 a month to use this service? You have lost your mind. I have 3 apps on my phone which I can split ANY purchases including bills for absolutely 0 dollars. They charge a small fee of 4.99 finance charge but that is it and y'all want 15 a month to only pay bills? That's ridiculous. No thanks. People you do realize there are way better installment apps out there right? Klarna, zip, after pay etc ... All of them do exactly the same thing WITHOUT a monthly fee.

Inflation is at an all time high and just when we finally made it to the middle class ranks we get pushed back down to lower class due to it. 😪 when I saw an add for this service I was hoping it would alleviate some of the stress & it's done just that. I'm on my 2nd round of "deferring" now 😜. 15 dollars a month isn't astronomical to utilize it and I'm very pleased so far. Fast. Easy. Helpful MOST importantly. Thumbs up. Thanks for being a light in a stressful world now!
