Del Taco - Del Yeah! Rewards

Not bad of an app, it's convenient plus has good deals and rewards but it's missing a lot of customization options (like in the app for it's rival Taco Bell). For example, I usually add Chipotle sauce to my red sauce bean burrito and triple layer queso nachos when I am ordering inside my local Del Taco, but that option isn't on the list of addons in this app. Hopefully they can fix this in a later update.

The app doesn't automatically send your order to the restaurant location. Every time I use it, show up, they tell me we didn't get any notification. Then I tell them to refresh or reboot their system and magically my order appears. Then I wait for rushed, burnt, quickly thrown together food. Horrible experiences, why do I keep trying!?! Don't download this app!

The app is not compatible with my phone and there is not an option to print a coupon from my laptop. Rubio's let's me print coupons to take to the store to redeem. If I take my phone it to show the email but do not have the digital coupon, I cannot get the deal. I have a Blackberry Classic and plan to upgrade to the KeyOne soon; the new ones support the Android system so maybe then I will be able to access the deals offered by email. Point being, if the deal is offered by email, there should be alternate ways to use it.

Pathetic effort. Coupon offers rarely work. And when orders actually function properly, the store can't find the order half of the time, then I'd have to place a new order. The bottom menu sometimes disappears and takes you back to the beginning. I can't count how many times I've ended up leaving the parking lot after being so frustrated with the app. How hard can it be to create a decent app?!

This app has been very hard to use. Ordering and scanning for points is not bad, but redeeming rewards is difficult and confusing. Once you've redeemed a reward, you can't just add that item to your cart. You have to use it like a coupon at checkout, and then you can only use one reward per order. Not all drinks are available to order through the app, either. They only offer premium beverages, coffee, and tea. If you want a regular coke, you have to order a combo meal.

New app makes sure you never get anything. The old app was one of the best ones out there with deals nearly every time you went. That was the problem, they didn't want people getting so many deals so this version gives almost nothing ever. I scan for days, weeks, months for ONE item. It's not even worth installing. Due to rising costs and supply shortages they needed to change things so that no one ever got anything and this is the result. You're better off finding a coupon elsewhere than using this new app. The employees also make you feel bad for scanning it like it's a major inconvenience for them and they are also bothered when you scan for points and no deals come up. Even they don't understand why you're scanning for points without any deals.

Wow, the old app wasn't great but this new version is absolutely awful. People should be fired for it! It's not intuitive. It purposefully makes things hard. Nothing is smooth or natural on the interface. It's a huge step backwards Not like they care. Update: more than a year later it's still garbage. The new "rewards" are worthless... Would rather go straight back to the old coupon system. I've stopped routinely going to del taco because the new app isnt nearly as beneficial. Uninstalling!

Bad update killed a good app. The rewards idea is pretty good. Except it doesn't work. It looks like they wiped the old accounts as my email was no longer registered. The rewards are confusing because you have to add the item to your cart that the reward is for otherwise it just says required item not in cart. The rewards are time limited and expire after a certain amount of time. It's a garbage system that never should have made it through QA.

Sadly you can't read the details of an offer without tapping "redeem" which starts a countdown timer to use the offer. Worse, if you want to use an offer, you can't check out using the app. Creating an order and paying with the app does not allow you to apply any of the deal offers. This might be the most ridiculous thing ever. So I build an order on the app, but then just read it off to them at drive-thru, and have to abandon the cart to get to the offers to pay in the drive-thru. Madness.

I've been a long time user of the old app. I loved it, it was great, worked smoothly, but ever since they updated it, it hasn't worked. I can't get past the sign in screen. I sign in, my options are either to "continue to the app" which brings me back to the sign in screen or reset my password, which does nothing. I've already gotten the initial email for registering and gone through that too. Also, the DOB part of the registration process doesn't go past September. I'm done with them.

The update is terrible. Your cart is emptied if you go back one screen too far and you have to start over completely. If you hit account or rewards by mistake while adding items from the menu it takes you to a new screen and erases your basket. If you don't load a coupon before ordering you can't add it at checkout and guess what? Going back to add the coupon erases your current order in progress. You want to review the coupon to make sure you're adding the right item? Erased. Waste of time.

Only good thing is getting 2 free tacos for downloading the app. Once you have the app, they want you to physically check-in to the cashier for deals before ordering. An app is supposed to add convenience not hold up a line while I view the deals. Scanning the receipt after ordering just does a survey, no deals. They don't want you to use it in a way that makes sense. If you go through the drive thru do not expect a deal. Just another useless app on my phone.

Useless now. I have been using the app for more than a year and loved it. Always something good. Coupons disappeared a few days ago and was just forced to update the app. I know my password, but was forced to reset it and was then locked out of my account, with a message saying try later. After uninstalling putting the app back, same message you are locked out of your account try later. Have not been able to log back in. Not sure what you did on Sept 3rd update but seriously ruined the app.

I just recently downloaded this app. I downloaded it from google playstore. They have several different offers and deals, not just just for new customers. Easy to create the account, affordable, and rewarding💯 Offers online ordering for delivery or pickup, fresh food, great customer service, is the best fast food reward app for free food, and offers Different choices from the menu. I personally couldn't find where to add or customize my order before delivery. Thank you, Del Taco🥰

Every single time I use this app there is an issue with processing payment. Literally every time when I go to check out after adding items to my cart, it gives an error for every single card that I save for payment. I have to delete each card, place the order all over again, and the add the cards back into the app. Every. Single. Time. Please fix this for the love of Pete.....

Used to work great. Now it's useless. For the last several months it has NEVER accepted any coupon codes. And before you say anything, YES, they are valid, not expired, straight from a Del Taco flyer. Neither scanning the code or manual input works. Always replies with an error, coupon code not valid. I gave it a few months thinking they would be able to figure it out themselves and fix their app, but NO. I was wrong. Also, prices at the restaurant are less than prices in the app!!

This app is absolutely terrible, ordering process is complicated. Changing locations of where you're trying to pick up your food is even worse, and if you click "app feedback" or "contact us" If there's something wrong with your order or any kind of issue it doesn't work, Just takes you to a blank page, which I'm guessing is by design because if you have no method to complain they have no reason to fix it!!!
