I love the freedom and buildings optons. Highly customizable. Even the ground can be modified A help or guide would make this a lot easier. Didnt realize some buildings have area limits, or still dont know how to upgarde roads or create shorelines. It also hard to balance the city, the provided stats seem volatile. I add work for 20 as suggested and then i need housing - vicious circle. All i want is to balance it for growth.

Love this game. Money is not required if you are strategic and patient. I have earned a lot of gold on daily prize spins and on gold mines... they are always adding new features, and buildings. I have been playing a year and it's my favorite game. I have two other games I play daily, a match 3 and a slots and this one fits well with those. 5 minutes or 5 hours, I am always entertained...and the nighttime building designs are very cool...all in all...I am thrilled.

This game isn't as great as the other reviews make it out to be, they might be playing a different game. Is it well made? Yes. Is it pay to play? ABSOLUTELY it is. You can't do much to affect or improve your city if have less than $1m to spend, and your city barely makes any money when you leave it running in the background. I would rather pay one fee to download the game and have everything unlocked instead of needing to pay for gold/fake money to actually build a city.

This game is probably the best free city game out there. Also it's pretty slow at first but then it gets really addicting and tbh I think it's better than alot of paid games. Also you only get ads if u want to get more gold. Even though you already start with alot. My only problem though is that I can't seem to watch multiple ads in one day to get more gold. But other than that this is a phenomenal game to play.

Only city building game that i have found where spending money is just an option. You can achieve all levels without spending a penny if you can just save a little bit here and there. Great graphics and game play. Gold and Diamonds are plentiful at the very start so that you can buy and spend on upgrades or get supreme buildings and landscaping. I love this game and play it daily! Two thumbs up!!!

I do love this game, no adds it's free and fun. But I love the look of the first design city better. Everything looked a little more realistic. The trees and buildings kinda everything. I would think 2 would be more advanced then 1, but it looks like it's the other way around. It would also be nice to have more then one angle to see things.

It takes a while to get going but once you get the stock exchange for 100 gold you're able to exchange your money for gold so its easier to get the other buildings for gold. There are awards in game that give you money and gold, all you got to do is eather save it or spend it on buildings that give you extra cash like the docks. Though I wish there was more variety of buildings for the size of the map once you own all the tiles on the map.

This is a fun game if you keep at it and enjoy games like Sim City 2000 or 3000, it is similar to that. They are still making improvements to it. Playing for free requires you to invest in power, trash collection, and water generation to sell to other cities and be patient. Once you reach a tipping point, build the stock exchange and you can trade cash for gold and buy the better buildings. Good time waster!

This is a great simulation game. Not modeled on Sim City at all. You don't construct buildings, just arrange prebuilt buildings on the grid. The game gives you guidance but not requirements. You are supposed to build fire stations, for example, but nothing will burn down if you don't. You have a lot of freedom to put things where you want. It includes roads, trains, and subway; a variety of houses. The things you place and the way you arrange them affects city happiness, which increases income.

A proper city building game, for sure. There's a slight learning curve but the developers did a good job with the hints and tips that help you out. I am a little disappointed that they took out some of the buildings and structures from the first game (i.e. the shuttle launch pad, decorative rocks, etc) but that hasn't stopped me from enjoying the game. Definitely worth a download!

This game is awsome one of my favorites the different selections of buildings.I only have 2 problems with it one is that you can't get gold fast enough. Either you need to be able to gain gold faster or the the building's that cost gold should only cost half as much. Another problem is that one has to have way to many appliances to run your cit. I have to have 61 different power plants to run a city only a quarter the size of the map. And I wish there was a way to have more than one city at once

Finally! A game you DONT need to spend real money in and can play for free! You do earn gold all day long, so buildings that can only be purchased with gold arent that impossible to buy. This is fun, challenging and only time consuming when you want to be in it! I do wish it could zoom in more and fonts were larger and easier to read, it's a chore for me, as I have severe vision loss due to a past injury, so I have to use a magnafying glass, but still better than other builder games I've tried!

I enjoy this game. Should have more road options (highways, on/off ramps, dirt roads, etc). Other than that I find it a pleasing and relaxing game. Haven't had to pay for anything to play, microtransactions are optional but not necessary. Does get slightly difficult to get gold before you can exchange money for gold. But once you get to that point you'll be pocketing a few million dollars everytime you log in every hour or so

This is the best city building game I've played, I really enjoy it. Income is constant, a wide variety of buildings and decorations, and it's free play mostly. No constant quests to complete to level up which makes it easy. I leave for a couple hours and I come back and instantly I collect a couple million dollars to spend and expand the city more.

Review update: As my city expands, the game gets increasingly laggier. The problem is, it's not even that big, so I almost dont want to expand very much farther. Maybe it's just my device. Otherwise the game gets 5 stars. Some things I would like to see added are a worlds system for multiple cities at once, subways, rockets, and natural disasters. These would make the game even better than it already is. Thank you for considering these ideas.

Overall good! Couple quirks like a few times it's hard to reach buildings and really wish it had at least two other types of views, like a 360 option even if it takes a bit to load for certain circumstances and a street level view would be really cool too. Then just recently when I got really close to an achievement, I'm not getting fires to put out in other cities anymore, so small bugs but overall fun!

Overall it's a fun game and very addictive. My biggest issue is with building placement. There is way too much trial and error when it comes to positioning buildings in the best possible place. So many times when I place a new building, the "ecology" rating is either "0" or in the negative. The game offers no help in saying what the problem is or suggesting a better location. Way too much time is spent rearranging buildings to get the best layout, and there is no logic to what goes where.

I was really undecided whether I should put 4 or 5 stars. Would like to see more realistic mountains and trees. They just seem too fake. Train bridge styles would be cool and I miss the monorail from design City 1. More small and medium parks ideas would be neat to see too. These are small things but hopefully they will appear soon. Would it be possible to have a highway system? Or, once you fill your land to purchase more and add to your city. Asking a lot, I know but that would be pretty sweet

Really addicting! It has some quirks like when you move a building it somehow recalculates and you end up with a different number of employed versus unemployed, despite not changing the level of the building. But I cannot stop playing this game. That's exactly the mobile "Sim City" I've been looking for.

This game is wonderful, a true city building game without gimmicks or hoops to jump through. I love how in-depth the financial management is, along with the control of happiness, pollution, public services, and balancing utilities. It certainly has a few quirks, but some can be used to your advantage. In the next update, I wish for better utility options that aren't purchased with gold, especially power, and maybe the ability to have tunnels for paths and overpasses for paths or trains.
