App only works sometimes, and you usually have to reload repeatedly. There's also a scaling issue one the Samsung Galaxy S9 where the dots are farther away from the edge of the graph(eg. A blood sugar reading from 1 minute ago still is not on the edge of the graph). This makes it so the door graph doesn't fill the whole screen. Also, please make Quick Glance(Notification with Blood Sugar) available to follow users.

I really cannot stress enough how unreliable this app is. My girlfriend has T1D & I rely on this app to do my part to help keep her safe. That said, the app will sometimes alert me, sometimes not when she is hypoglycemic & there seems to be no rhyme or reason to when the app does or doesnt work. With the most recent update it frequently says "no data" even though we both have internet, bluetooth, & she's right next to her phone. I've contacted tech support multiple times to no avail. Dangerous!

The new version of the app has great features. I like that I can select the time frame I want to view and can turn my phone sideways and run my finger across the screen and it will display the exact bloodsugar for every minute for the past 24 hours!!!! The alerts(sound) were working initially, but stopped working after I updated the profile picture. This needs to be fixed asap. Instead of waking up to the Dex alert I woke up to my kid losing consciousness and tumbling down the stairs!

it was fine... on my note 9. I recently upgraded my phone now this app doesn't work at all. I'm my mother's monitor and I can't monitor breeches this app hasn't been updated since last year! the worst part is, my mother has the same phone! this needs to be fixed and just putting out a info page stating that's "some features" may not work is not enough! this is how people monitor their health!

UPDATE: Ive tried to have someone call me but the form to fill out requires the transmitter numbers etc. I just need to know about the app. When will this ever work with galaxy s23 ultra. I've had it for over a year and still it crashes several times a day and I don't know it until I check it. I keep getting messages that it's not compatible. Please help on this. This is such a an important app. I need to wake my daughter when she's low at night and it's not working.

I can't believe you don't support more android phones. just looked this app hasn't been updated since January of 2023 It's a shame having a good product and not having it supported. Ok that's enough time you won't support your CGM I switched over to free style Libra GOOD BYE. I can see if it was a NEW phone but mine is over Year old do you have a contract with Samsung or something????? Free style Libra work great and they support it very well and there app works on all phones. Good Bye Dexcom

A lot of bugs lately! My child's dexcom g6 worked just fine but the follow app showed no data for a week. Finally fixed it by unfollowing and removing from both phones and sending a new invite. Now I can't change the profile picture. It says I need to give storage permission. Storage is not an option on the permissions list, just phone and notifications.

It's baffling how bad this app is, especially since it's coming from a company whose core products are app-connected med tech. My two biggest gripes: Persistent Notification: I want notifications if my partners sugar levels get dangerously low. The only way to do this is to allow a notification with their sugar levels all day everyday. Battery Drain: The battery drain is insane. I'm about to charge for the 3rd time today, and my battery settings show it's this app draining it. What a bummer.

In theory this is great, I can help monitor my wife's BG levels and help with insulin a or food as necessary. However, the app frequently stops updating even though it's running in the background. I have to porn the app for it to update. Also after a while I starts crashing often enough that my phone wants to put the app to deep sleep which kind of defeats the purpose of having a continuous monitoring system.

So far, this experience on the Follow app has been rather basic. I realize it's not the main hub for the patient, but I really wish sometimes I could see further back than 24 hours since I'm the main contact for the doctor. Also, it would be SUPER AWESOME if you would add a small widget that would update with the number so I can have that on my screen and not have to open full app.

*Update: 5.7.24 IDK if the Dexcom team did anything, but when I went to change my mom's sensor it finally started working again. First time we've had an issue like this. Hopefully won't happen again. For some reason today I started getting an error with the Follow app. It now says Incompatible Smart Device, but I've been using this same phone for years! Is there something wrong? It won't let me get in at all.

This app should be a lot better. 1st it's a battery killer on my Galaxy s22 ultra. 2nd graph is almost useless. Can't go back and see exact times on the graph. Meaning it only gives you 3 hour increments leaving you to try to figure out exactly what time a certain reading was taken. 3rd The app should be improved to allow data logging. As it stands now you can only go back 24 hours. It would be nice to be able to date a log and go back to compare readings from previous days.

Annoying that it has to sit constantly in my notifications pull-down, cluttering it up. But the worst part is that it's unreliable. Recently, on the app it is showing "No Data" while on the sensors Dexcom app it just says "Server Error". The Freestyle Libre was leaps and bounds better, but we were forced to switch because our insurance no longer covered the Libre.

Awesome Follow tracking! I wish I could choose warning sounds from my own library, to be more discriptive and less annoying. The person I follow is a brittle diabetic and often out of range. 😞 Also I can't figure out how to change the picture from that cardboard face. Otherwise an awesome app for being aware of the blood sugar levels for the person you are Following, which is the main goal of the application, and nicely done by Follow. Let me choose my own sounds and 5 stars all the way!

I feel such an important app should be a lot better. First it kills my phone really quick. Second it send me countless notifications when my daughter has slightly elevated blood sugar. And thirdly, the notification bar icon on my android is annoying. It would be cool if it served a purpose but the app crashes all the time so it doesn't even display what it's supposed to in the notification bar so it's useless.

I keep getting notifications to put this app in deep sleep because it keeps crashing frequently. Half the time my cousin's daughter's alarms go off, I won't get them because the app crashes. It makes it unreliable and kind of scares me about what would happen if the app is constantly crashing on all of our phones and we miss important alarms, especially in the middle of the night. This needs to be fixed asap

This app is very high battery consumption, almost constant notifications of levels and no way to turn them off without turning off ALL notifications.. It should ONLY notify when high or low, or have the option to toggle the constant notifications on or off. As stated, extremely high battery usage, phone keeps trying to deep sleep the app for running in the background with such high consumption. Crashes frequently as well on Galaxy S22 Ultra. Such an important app should do better.

This USED to be a really good app! At one time, I would have given it 5 stars, and I may be generous with 3 now. I "Follow" both of our T1D daughters. *No Data... No Data... always No Data*... it's sooooo frustrating! It drains our phone batteries faster than it should, it never used to. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app to see if that would fix the battery drain. It fixed the drain, but now I can no longer assign a picture to each profile. I hope an update comes quickly!!!

Annoying, but better than nothing. One big problem is that the app constantly alerts me about glucose levels, even when I know, even when everything is fine, even when I dismiss the alert, the alert comes right back again. This is the boy that cried wolf, if you keep alerting me, then alerts stop getting my attention! The notification in the top of the screen serves little purpose. Please stop notifying me litterally 2 seconds after I dismiss the alert. Let it go.

The last 3 years it has worked decently. Now I either do not get alerts at all or I get a notification but no sound. All settings are correct. I can see my daughter's blood sugar numbers but that doesn't help overnight with lows and highs that I need woken up for. Due to that I've deleted and reinstalled the app numerous times and now I am not able to put a profile picture on there. It says it needs access to storage. All permissions are granted. ETA that I've already spoken with a rep 3 times.
