Waste of time of an app. Why not instead focus on how many more smart devices you could actually include on your list of compatible devices. You only have expensive androids or ios compatible with Dexcome G6 as of now. Simulator! Oh wow big deal...it just confuses people & take space on their phone. Youtube simulator video should be enough. Perfavour, increase your device list that can use Dexcome g6 app! Please include cheaper brands of Android ! Dont waste time on simulators!

I downloaded it and I tried to set up, but it didn't work. Just wants you to watch the video. Waist of time and stressful. I believe there is another new company do better than dexcom. Anyway, most of the phones are not compatible with Dexcom .

Love it. Diabetic since 12 yrs old. 35yrs. Best meter ever. Constant results. Don't have to put meter up to get results. No issues at all. Had Libre. Blah. Had to put it to arm or stomach to get results. Dexcom sends to phone and meter every cpl minutes.

@DEXCOM I am a new user, the G6 system does not work on my Android OS 12. When I go on your site, says my Note 10+ needs os 9 - 11. I can't use the app, which is one of the biggest reasons I switched from medtronics. Could you provide an ETA as to when an update will be available?

Dexcom should be ashamed of all their services. Useless apps that work on many devices, useful apps for just a few phones, opaque instructions and requirememts, lack of repacked battery in transmitter so you need to throw it away. this company exemplifies everything wrong with the health care system. At least I can download the irrelevant G5 app for my G6 so I can pretend it works.

You can run the real Dexcom G6 application on your Samsung Galaxy 22S Ultra. You can't download it from there Google Play Store but you can transfer the app from another phone that is approved by using Smart Switch. Customer support told me all the FDA approval process, blah, blah, blah. But the time that happens I'll be on my next phone. I use the Dexcom in conjunction with a Tandem pump. Tandem's app had no problem working on my new phone. Shame on Dexcom.

I downloaded the app on my Android one plus 9 and tried to set up an account. Everything frozen with the pretty buttons doing nothing. So I signed up and registered online and all set, except I go to the app to login and the pretty little button doesn't do anything like it was fake. Won't even let me enter my log in info. Sooo what do you suggest now. I'm sure my insurance wouldn't appreciate paying for this device when the app doesn't work. You better think of something to help me use the app.

This app is a bigger problem for Dexcom. They have a working G6 app that is compatible with very few phones, they have everything there for a happy customer base yet ignore it. This company either doesn't care or the company chooses to use a flawed customer care model. Sadly it looks like the later version of issues.

I have used my Dexcom and android for almost a year. I even had no issue connecting and using my Dexcom when I upgraded to the Samsung S22 Ultra, up until recently. About a week ago I got a sensor connection issue, so I changed sensors twice. Then I eventually got a message that my device was no longer supported. Dexcom you are playing with peoples health and finances. The transmitter and sensors are not cheap. Are you going to reimburse those of us now out the money for a product we can't use?

I'm finding that I'm not the only person to have purchased a Galaxy S22 and *POOF* Dexcom is suddenly not compatible, EVEN THOUGH IT SUCCESSFULLY TRANSFERRED FROM MY S9 THROUGH SMART SWITCH. I was able to share w my Mom and she was able to receive alerts when my sugar dips too low. Thanks for messing that up for me. The receiver doesn't offer that. If I could rate NO stars, I would

Very discouraging about dexcom.. they won't design a current app for the s22 series of phones that has now become one of the most popular phones on the market today.. the reciever is clunky and old and just another device to keep up with.. guess we'll have to switch to the libre or some other cgm.. shame on dexcom!!!!!!!

This app is a good training aid but I want to utilize the actual G6 tracking software. The genuine G6 tracking software transferred from my older phone but it will not link with the G6. It's very disappointing. Dexcom advertises how easy it is to track one's blood sugars on a smartphone but Dexcom is not keeping up with software updates. What they advertise is not representative of how it actually works on newer phones.

Look, everyone griping about this simulator app (and the actual G6 app). It's not the app, nor your phone. There was an Android OS update in December. I think that turfed the compatibility w/ the G6 app. The phones are listed as compatible because they are. The OS running them isn't (technically) & therefore won't let us download it. Dexcom needs to deal with the issue. C'mon Dexcom... we're waiting.

Deceptive Dexcom. Was excited to get G6 for son so family could help monitor glucose levels - after all, app was "Available for Android." Except not really - so few Android models allowed for actual app download the whole family would have to switch phones to participate. Dexcom claims they can't be bothered to certify more phones because there are so many. Hogwash. This simulator, of course, doesn't really do anything but remind you that Dexcom has no trouble making an app that can work on multiple Android models....but of course, it has no practical value.

unbelievable like all other reviews, I need an app that monitors my blood and can send it to followers on the follow app too. I do not need a tutorial manual on how to use the real useable app, which is what this is.. This is a disgrace! I don't understand what dexcom is thinking, but I think giving them a call or writing them every email in the world is necessary for them to make an app that works on all phones so it can save more peoples lives!! I wish I could write more, but the word limit..

I am super pissed right now. Been using Samsung A21 w/ my Decom g6 2 years & things are OK. Not great but ok. Omnipod has come out w/ a new system Omnipod 5 & works in tandem w/ Deccom g6. Great . . . . NOT SO MUCH! A21 phone is not compatible w/ new system. Proceeded to look up phones that are compatible w/ new operating system & found that the Samsung S21 is compatible. Downloading app informed me that it's NOT COMPATABLE EITHER & I wasted $800 on a new phone. This is absolutely ridiculous.

Waste of my time! i thought I was going to find an app to use instead of my Dexcom G6 monitor which is just another thing that I have to keep track of and carry around and make sure I have it and blah blah blah. this was very disappointing to find out that it was indeed just a simulator. Dexcom needs to make it so that you can truly use either the monitor or your cell phone. At this point I'm not very happy with the product. Time will tell.

I used the receiver provided by Dexcom initially and later added the app for Android. It was ok for awhile and remained accurate relative to the receiver. I would have continued to use the app in tandem with the receiver but ran into an unrelated problem when changing the sensor and new transmitter. I deleted the app intentionally to resolve the problem and realized the app isn't that useful to me. When you get a signal alert both phone and receiver sound. Drains battery quickly. Won't use it.

I have been using the Dexcom G6 app for almost a year on my Motorola 5G Ace phone. When I got malware or something on my phone, I had to do a factory reset. Now I come back to download the app and it won't let me install the app saying my phone is not compatible. I don't want to be carrying 2 devices. It's more convenient carrying one. I do have the reader, but prefer it one my phone.

Going back to freestyle due to lack of the following problems. tracking history. Unable to to view high, lows, uncompatible with current phones. I was wanting to get Dexcom because it's covered on my insurance. But still not worth it. I would rather pay more for something that works then to deal with a frustrating app.
