It's fairly good, customer service is really good even on the lower tear. Couple of major flaws, first you can't change the notification tone, and using default mean I have to look at my phone anytime a msg comes in from any app. Allowing a custom tone for notifications would be a great improvement. Also no push notifications for the desktop app is a big problem, push notification is needed, preferably allowing custom notifications tone as well.

to many glitches to run a business out of. I have used multiple apps for a secondary phone service and this is by far the worst one i have ever used. The desktop platform is great but the app needs a lot of improvements. I run a $50k/month business off of it and i struggle every call that is coming in. Some calls get dropped after answering and some calls never ring on my phone. I have second thoughts about this service, the only reason i am still with it is because of the desktop platform

Horrible app. Audio is awful. You can only tell whos calling when youre looking at your phone and the call pops up, because for some reason the caller ID goes away and all you get is a number. The calls you make or receive automatically store in your PERSONAL cell phone call log. And you have no options of fixing it. Audio is choppy, and sometimes you can hear you're own voice echoing. Also when you call someone in the app it dials from your phone to some random number. Worst app ever.

Love the app! It makes our work phones available on all devices. When I am traveling, my laptop will ring or my cell phones. I love how it uses data as well, when I am traveling out of the country, it allows me to use my phone through the app as I would in the states. Another benefit is because you are calling through the data when traveling (out of the country) you do not have to dial the country codes! The ease of use is awesome. Do not disturb is awesome. The transcribing feature is great, I use it to look up notes on a call if I miss something during conversation. Great work Dialpad. I love it!

I'm not sure why it's not possible to check text messages. Going to a department from my phone when I can easily do it from my computer desktop app. Please add this feature ASAP. It is crucial for business. Update: 05/08/23 A year later. This app is riddled with bugs and issues. Too many for me to name on here. I'll be moving my business away from this company. Terrible terrible phone service. Wish I could give it half a star instead of 1 star. So frustrating.

Horrible experience. Calls don't go thru, call logs are impossible to decipher, call logs across devices show different logs, call transcripts are worthless, settings are all over the place, worst of all the user interface is terrible, difficult to use in any sensible way. Answer a phone call and the phone keeps ringing while you take the call. Default settings will end a call upon a new call coming in. Undeveloped prototype it seems. Lots and lots of problems.

Not stable, inconsistent behavior and performance. No way to test audio the way you can with desktop or browser clients. Audio behavior unpredictable; sometimes it lets me talk through BT connected headset, later in same session will not. Sometimes it lets me use speakerphone, sometimes it will not. Unintuitive and clunky to navigate between agent queue and group chat. Does not consistently ring for next in queue, shows missed calls while event is actively waiting for call. All in all, a mess.

Great when it works, but trust the 1 star reviews... their support team is awful. We've had several issues with their support team, including a major one that had our calls with clients get disconnected. For weeks, they told us that it was our network despite what we told them, and all along it was an update of their app! Dozens of hours wasted, and 80+ emails. In a separate instance, changing our billing from monthly to yearly has so far been 11 days and 8 e-mails. Frustrating.

Excellent virtual phone system! We have been using dialpad for years. It's an excellent, reliable phone system that works for everyone. Our team is located all over the US and the ease of implementing this system was simple. We require a solid phone system for our daily marketing efforts. I highly recommend Dialpad. An update to my last review- I have been using this app for about 2 years. It's a great phone app. Easy to use and allows me to take and make business calls from anywhere.

This app is riddled with bugs and not nearly as polished as the iOS mobile version. I love Dialpad but this Android app feels like a second class citizen compared to it's iOS counterpart and the desktop version. Its unfortunate because Dialpad has the resources to make something better than this. Hopefully this is being done in the background. If they need some inspiration they should just look at Google Voice. It's by far one of the most polished softphone experiences I have seen thus far.

I love the desktop application and the service. The mobile app is great except one major flaw. You have to delete the app from your phone for it to refreah missed calls that were returned using other devices even if you refresh the app. Im tired of reinstalling the app just to see what calls need to be returned. Other than that, I love the mobil app too, but it is a big flaw. We use Dialpad for our 3 person office. Each has the desktop application and mobile apps.

I'm using this app for work. It is extremely temperamental on my Note9. Lately it either doesn't ring at all but give a missed call notification. The call won't transfer to one of the various lines on the system. The other issue is the call taking over 20seconds to connect on my end when I initiate a call. It's really unfortunate that it's so buggy. I'd suggest uninstalling when not in use. This app has the residual affect of screwing up the normal function of the volume on the phone.

Sometimes significant lag time between picking up call and hearing audio. Sometimes calls do not resolve on receiving end (straight to VM). Sound artifacts when on the move during transitive from Wifi to mobile network. Using mobile network requires you to 'Dial 1' to pick up a call... its not always convenient to do and adds time to pick up call. Not sure this is a reliable service unless strictly using over WiFi.

I have had Dialpad for about 4 months now and I must say, though I struggled with a learning curve and few small glitches, I love the service and app. I have multiple small businesses, with different phone numbers and used to have to carry multiple phones to distinguish each business. With Dialpad they are just different departments on the app on one phone. The combined saving is over $60 a month. Please do get the HD calling glitches ironed out, but beyond that, I look forward to be a customer for many years to come.

I canceled this service but kept the app to have access to history. Once canceled they deleted every text, every contact!!! I chose a later port date thinking it would minimize any problems. My phone numbers did not port for a week after, so literally, my business lost all phone calls. Then I get my first monthly bill for 2 lines. It is $50.... then another $25 in taxes. Not all required. My cellphone bill has $35 in taxes for 7 lines a little over 10%. Diapad is 33%

Not bad. Works. Not a fan of Dialpad Everywhere on desktop, but less annoying on phone. New Text Message dialog is a pain because it doesn't show you history with that contact until after you send the message. Overall a decent and working system without too many problems, even if some areas of the application aren't intuitive when covering multiple departments as a small business.

Replying to the reply I got from Dialpad. The issue exists both on the app and on the browser. Whether I'm at home connected to my wifi (800Mbps 30ms Ping) or on my computer that has a wired connection, there is always issues. Ringers are set to max seconds. Calls only ring 4 times. And when you pick up, they don't connect. If your app isn't good on the go with HD calling, then you shouldn't release it and advertise it as a feature. Subpar company with subpar service.

First the issue - No Bluetooth headset connectivity anymore. This is a VERY BIG issue. I'm not able to be mobile while using the MOBILE app due to noise and having to basically have every call on speaker. Now the great thing - EVERYTHING ELSE. Syncs with the desktop app real time for calls and texting (which uses my same Bluetooth headsets seamlessly). Ability to switch devices, add contacts & edit contacts. Very good communication piece.

Service works decently well. App is HORRIBLE. My entire company is switching away from using Dialpad complete solely because of the app. Biggest issue: the app continues to vibrate/ring even after the call is answered or declined making conversation impossible. That's assuming that the call CAN be answered... this brings me to the next issue. 75% of the time the call can not be answered on the app. The mobile app will ring maybe twice, a pop up notification will come up, then it will disappear. It keeps vibrating & ringing but there is no option in the app to answer the call. Meanwhile, the call is still "ringing" on either the desktop app or the web app. I can answer the call on those but not on the mobile app. Even after answering the call on the desktop or web app, the mobile app will continue vibrating & ringing. To stop the vibrating/ringing, I have to reboot the phone or "force stop" the app. Unusable. Also, I notice a discrepancy between text messages on the desktop/web app and the mobile app. Some messages will appear on one but not the other. Can't trust it. 2 stars for the service that works decently. 0 stars for the app itself as it's completely useless.

This app is always trying to take over your phone. As a Google pixel user it is always trying to take over any other features you have going on. For instance, if I silence all notifications, this app still thinks it's it's turned to ring during important meetings. I realize it is a phone system, however it should not ring over or dominate any feature on your phone. I have also been on meetings on my personal number and had it ringing over and into other calls.
