Has good content. I enjoy watching TLC shows. I've had a couple of issues with some bugs. The minimize window doesn't always work and will make you close out of the app and then have to rewatch the ads. Glitches when using a chromecast and will skip ahead. You will be watching a show and then go back on the app and it will close out and stop the show you're watching and you have to restart it. These bugs get really annoying when watching a show.

As a whole, this video streaming service is absolutely terrible. A lot of lag and so many pauses throughout a show is something to be expected often. Many times the app just stops working and you have to reload the app. Terrible streaming which is very disappointing because I want to watch these shows!

Works great when it works. Keeps stopping the program and just circles as if it can't find the connection. And lately, it spits me right out of the site and goes back to my TV's main screen. Y'all charge more and give less. Figures. This streaming app BLOWS. It's in my TV, developers. Not my phone.

Lol, my gosh. If using chromecast this app is an absolute mess. And the constant ads every time you move the slider. Or if the app crashes from trying to pause, it'll play another ad. Ive dang near watched more ads than content. And if I pause, there's no resuming. The app will crash and you'll have to reopen and start over, and guess what, watch another few minutes of ads. Its wild we pay for this.

I love watching my true crime shows on Discovery Plus but lately the same commercial (for BMO) comes on EVERY commercial break and repeats up to 5 times in a row! Unfortunately I can't fast-forward thru the commercials. It's getting old very quickly and is starting to deter me from wanting to watch my shows on Discovery Plus. I understand going ad-free is an option at an additional charge, however, feels like I'm being annoyed to the point of having to pay more just avoid this commercial!

As soon as this was available, I purchased! Loved it! No problems! I had one small issue some time ago but great till late 2023!! First I was given notice that Ghost Adventures would stream next day. I was fine with that. Then all of a sudden new shows of GA Screening Room in 2024, were not there next day and customer service was horrible!! At the same time I noticed many of the shows I like had no new shows! I realized I'm paying for an app I can't use so for now I paused it!

Unfortunately I have to change my rating from a 2 to a 1. I stopped my subscription for a while because I wasn't watching it much. Since I started it back up I've had nothing but trouble! If I minimize the app and then come back to it it stops casting. Every time. A lot of the time a notice to unpause to continue watching will come up even though it isn't paused. Sometimes commercials get "stuck". I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app with no improvement. Please fix these problems!!

It was bad enough when the rewind and fast forward wouldn't work, but I guess since they tried to fix that, they have created more problems. Now, if I hit the home button on my phone, instead of having a mini window with the show playing or even closing it, it freezes my phone and continues to play the audio. I have hard power off my phone. If this keeps up, I will cancel my Discovery+ subscription.

There are so many errors and lag on this app lately. I've been a subscriber for a few years now, and it seems like this past year has been bad. It takes forever to open, once opened, I'll start watching something and the screen goes black and then it kicks me out completely. Now, I'm trying to watch something, and I keep getting an error message that says " Sorry, this device does not yet support DRM content. Error 43400. Gggrrr and the prices keep going up. 🙄🙄🙄

The programming cuts out in the middle of the program or at commercial breaks. Contacting CS is useless. They request information about your equipment (which has to be repeated with each new CSR you email with 😳🤔😑), then nothing - the communication disappears. The programming issues are not fixed. Basically they just hope you, the customer, will give up and go away.

This app and website pushes you to pay the extra fee for no ads. It will make me refresh the show I'm watching on my PC because an ad will make the video have an error playing it. It will disconnect/crash my Chromecast as well due to an ad causing the show to glitch out and not be able to play. Either the creators of this app and website need to fix the glitches or stop trying to make people pay more so they don't encounter this problem ever again

Downloaded episodes expire after a few days and have to re-download them again. Other: Samsung TV app does not save the episodes properly, does not show what you were watching at the top of the home view, does not stream in 1080p but in compressed 1080/720 trash. Sooo many issues with both apps. This is why I despize streming services. Just buy the shoes on VUDU, the streming and download quality is 4X better.

Rating from 5 stars to 2. What the heck happened!? The app is terrible, crashes, glitches, and navigating your account is impossible! They charged me 4.99 for ads, I didn't want that, I always paid 8.99, now I'm stuck with it because you can simply upgrade in the app and i have to go online, using desktop mode on my phone in order to access my account. Then you still can't change it! I deactivated my account, idk if I'll make a new one to be honest. Hopefully they can fix this mess of an app

Only complaint is having to wait for certain shows to be added. I hate the fact that I pay for this channel via the Discovery+ app but sometimes have to wait until a season is complete to watch it. It won't force me to go back to cable. Maybe they should offer a pay upgrade to watch those shows without a wait like we pay for no commercials.

I LOVE the content provided by Discovery+, BUT the sheer amount of commercials accompanying the shows I enjoy are enough to make me suddenly quit watching a show out of sheer frustration. The repeating commercials that show back to back on the same commercial break drive me INSANE. Also, I have encountered an issue where a black "loading" screen forces me to reload the app, this is following the already annoying commercials. Upon reloading it makes me watch the ads AGAIN. IDK why I pay for ads..

I haven't used your app in probably over a year. It works fine on my phone but all it does is play commercials over and over and over again on my Samsung Galaxy TV. I just saw a new show and decided to give it another go. It said I had to update it on my phone, I go to watch it on my TV I don't know what you "up dataed" but not a damn thing has changed.I t still does nothing but play commercials over and over freeze fo r 10-15sec then restart the. commercials from the beginning all over again.

I love the content but the app keeps having issues. Whenever I pause a show my phone will freeze. If I click off of the app it will still play the audio and I can't turn it off. The app sometimes will just do a black screen and not let me click off and I have to restart my phone. I know it's the Discovery Plus app because no other app on my device has this issue. Only this one. It has crashed my phone multiple times. Please fix the app

App doesn't accurately record where you leave off. Often starts me 2 or 3 episodes back from where I am in a series. No access to episodes from watch list so you can't simply skip to the next episode. You have to search for the title and choose the episode from that menu or you have to fast forward through the episodes to get to your episode and then the next time you watch it takes you back to the wrong episode again. Checked and I have installed all updates.

I'm now having difficulty with this app where before I rated It really high. I have been using this for years. On my phone now, when I try to watch Discovery plus the shows are covered by error messages and code writing. I don't know how to fix this. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, paused and unpaused, cleared my cache, etc. ***Hello thank you for your response. I've reached out to the email listed. Unfortunately your link does not work. App constantly disconnects from my Chromecast, but will still play the show until I open it and it completely disconnects and I have to start all over. Motortrend app wasn't perfect, but it was a hell of a lot better than this. Not to mention the constant promotion of scripted reality shows. Only reason I have it is to watch my Motortrend shows. I wish they didn't move it all over here.
