Too much ads!!! I can deal with a few but they pop up all the time no matter which all I'm using, also when I want to go into the app itself to turn it on or off I have to battle 4-5 apps and no matter that I press the little X in the corner it still takes me to playstore and I have to go back and the ad is still playing... It's a vicious cycle I've decided to uninstall it it's just too much

This app is awsome! If it had a button outside the app that we could press it and connect to the dns that we entered manually, it would be easier to use. On android ofc.

DNS Changer - Secure VPN Proxy is awesome. The features in it are worth the download from the Google Play store. It can boost your browser speed, gaming speed, music streaming, TV streaming, social media streaming speed and download upload speed, ping too. The only that's missing is Android dark mode.

I have yet to have it connect. When it does and everything is working correctly, I will update the rating.

Works. It has its own VPN that it uses to set up and uses less storage than other apps. Download.

There are alternative programs out there that do exactly the same, but that can be purchased with a one-time payment, whereas this developer charges recurring subscription fees month after month, year after year ad infinitum for such a simple and trivial functionality. Consequently, the alternative it is, whereas this milkingware has been uninstalled.

I heard about this app from Gadget Hacks, because I'm sick and tired of pop up ads and those new ads that appear as a cartoon character in a bubble floating across the screen, waiting for you to click on it. Admittedly I'm not very tech savvy, so I went to the YouTube tutorial which led to the website. What's coming up when I install the app looks nothing like what the tutorial shows.

I just don't really see the difference when it comes to improvement on my data connection. I have unlimited 5G data on the new OnePlus N10, yet I still have times where my data connection just seems rather non-existent. However, when using the app, it seems at times to provide a more consistent connection? But then it will have periods where my data won't work at all because of the DNS change. I'm wondering if I should stick to just utilizing android's DNS server setting(s).

Straight away, tons of full-screen ads are present, making everything confusing and hard to use. Also had to agree to a lot of tracking and indefinite storage of user data and internet usage data that is described in many pages of agreement legalese which only an attorney would be able to understand. Prevention of user data collection is one of the primary reasons a person would want to use a DNS changer in the first place. So thanks, but no.

Great but keeps disconnecting itself. Meaning I have to keep opening and connecting every now and then. Switching battery to unrestricted did not help. The disconnecting happens most frequently on mobile (which is used away from home), at home I use the wifi. Using free edition, wish there was an automatic reconnect setting. Also, wish it would start on boot. Otherwise it would defeat it's purpose. I want DNS settings to be permanent and over mobile and all wifi's.

Comcast customer here. I was having a lot of trouble with slow connections and browsing with Comcast's DNS servers, and since Android doesn't let you change settings, I tried this app to switch to OpenDNS. I verified that I am actually on OpenDNS's servers (to make sure this isn't malware), and browsing is MUCH faster now. Data transfer speeds are about the same, but the slowness came from long DNS resolution times, which this app solved. Well worth the price to disable ads, IMO.

Works, loaded with ads... Far too many for my liking. But most importantly I cannot write this app more than one or two stars because they want a subscription as opposed to at one time fee. I don't need your VIP support, and you offer no other services that are worth subscription/s. The app just changes a setting. That's it. People are sick to death of useless subscriptions. Based on the above stated, I most definitely cannot recommend this app.
