I like DS a lot, I have it on my PC and on my phone. Recently installed SW on my phone but it's so buggy 😢 I can't use the hammer, whenever I close the app, it still plays on background that I had to forcefully close it 😢. Dev, please fix the bug. Recent update was way back 11/2020. I don't want to uninstall it but I may have to if this is not fixed. 😢

I LOVE THIS GAME!!! BUT.... what's keeping me from giving 5 stars is there are some bugs in this game, especially the walls, I placed some stone walls but THEY'RE INVISIBLE 😞😟 they're still there, as i can't walk through the space, but they aren't showing. It's irritating that I stopped playing the game 😢 please fix the bugs, i love this game 😭

I love dont starve, have supported Klei on PC since DS first came out. As much as im excited for the port to mobile, the controls are really difficult. Planting is hard. Dropping things in general is hard. Kiting is really challenging, esp with the joystick. Like i cant even fight a tree guard. I'm sad to say but it seems this game is not ready for mobile. I cant even imagine kiting the bosses.

This is a really good game. The artstyle, characters, and the wide sea is really enticing. As much as I loved the game just like 'Don't Starve: Pocket Edition', this is really the more bug-infested game. 1.) The Ballphins are a really glitchy mess, and don't resemble a dolphin unless it swims towards you. 2.) Wilbur's running animation is bonkers. While it's fine when he runs left or right, he suddenly becomes invisible when running backwards or forward. That's all. Keep up the good work!

Controls are a bit hard cuz it's on mobile. I think it's a harder game mode than don't starve and I haven't been able to get beyond day 7 and I have to use a lot of fandom pages for help with the game. Super challenging and when you die it's super demotivating cuz you can't resurrect unless you create that item. New characters unlockable in the game which is exciting. I love the don't starve franchise. When it saves the entire game pauses for 10 secs so dont worry when that happens, it's normal.

Although the controls have no chance of being as fluent as the pc versions, the gameplay itself is enough to entice the ability to play on the go, even with the switch version out. I just wish that we could get hamlet on mobile or switch soon. I'll always love the Don't Starve series, no matter what the newest game is released on.

I love the game but I'm having issues when I connect my xbox one controller to play. Everything works great but I'm not able to view my map. Anytime I hit the button that's suppose to be the map it just pauses my game and it won't allow me to change the controls so I have no way of viewing it. Any help would be great.

I love the game, and thanks for fixing the glitches. There's just one that's still doing my head in. I'm glad I can now see Packim Bagims but for some reason he's always the default attack target! He's the last guy I want to kill yet as soon as I hit the attack button I go straight for him no matter how many crocks, snakes or spiders around. It's ridiculous.

The controls for mobile are kinda hard to get by. Using an xbox controller would be a perfect fix for this if the map button worked! When using a controller the player is unable to open or view the map in any way, and one cannot simply use the touch screen to open the map without restarting the game with the controller disconnected. This merits the 2 star rating as progressing in Dont Starve without a viewable map is near impossible. I would just uninstall but dont want to throw away $7.00

I enjoy playing this game a lot, I would rate the game 5 stars but there is a bug where any walls are invisible when you place them, it's annoying as it's hard to place walls around your base because you can't see what you're doing. Also I've noticed that while running vertically with Wilbur, he turns invisible and does not get the movement boost. Also, packim baggins turns invisible when you face him vertically and is unable to follow you so he just stays there and you are unable to access him

As someone who has played the PC version this is a pretty good reincarnation. the reason i give it a 2 stars is because the hud is still just a bit too small for my sausage fingers and dragging the items across the screen is just annoying because sometimes it just doesn't register but the fighting gameplay is ok but its not the best but it gets the job done. but other than that it has good graphics and doesnt lag my S7 so ill give it a 4/5

The game is amazing. It truly is a pity that the ouch controls are do poorly made. I can't even plant a damn acorn to the ground and looking around takes literally 2 seconds, in which I'm often killed by the thing I was trying to run away from. The game is also really buggy, whenever there's a save it crashes and when I boot it up the screen is black until I restart it. Overall a great game, it just needs fixing.

Really good game. This version has almost the same feeling as playing on the computer. It's quite fun to play, even with dying a lot I haven't played too many hours yet of this version but I've already found a few bugs and "annoying" things that could be improved: I once got stuck between jumping from land to boat and had to relog; Sometimes things don't move properly between inventories (chests, etc); The virtual stick and action buttons could be improved as well. But it's still worth it imo.

If you love Don't Starve on the PC, you are going to love Shipwrecked. It's essentially nearly the same game, with some slight mechanics refinement and zoom tuned for the mobile platform. Several different playable characters and many scenarios keep you entertained for hours. It's not an idle clicker though. It's still a survival strategy game that requires attention and gets your adrenalin pumping.

I love this game and all Don't Starve games. Shipwrecked is probably my favorite, though. I hope to see Hamlet on mobile edition soon! My teeniest complain would be sometimes when the day progresses through the auto save, it'll freeze for a moment. Which wouldn't be an issue if you aren't fighting an enemy, but can cause you to take damage if you are. 10/10 love this game though

Updated 2018-12 .... Still bad UI. Died today because I attacked a pig while trying to give it a gift. I love this game. But it really annoys me. The UI on both mobile and Mac is just poorly done. I die, 50% of the time from poor interface. For example I just died because I couldn't drop things in the dark to use either of the two torches right at my feet. I suspect I'll get tired of this very fast and regret this purchase. (also controller support on OSX is weak)

Buggy as all hell. Good game, but could you guys PLEASE do some tweaking and bugfixing? This is an otherwise lovely game, but the crockpot and chest storage don't work at all (you have to manually drag every item which takes forever, and they often don't even stick), and sometimes items won't click from the inventory. If you can fix these huge quality-of-life things, I'd rate 5 stars.

The game is great don't get me wrong. The biggest glaring issue is that it was made for computer, not mobile. Controls are very finicky, leading to attacking things you don't want, or running randomly into things that isn't good. To proficiently finish this game, you have to be pretty accurate with movement and attacking. Overall, pretty good game, but bad controls.

I love this game. I was hesitant to buy it because of all the reviews about the difficult controls, but it's not horrible. I was excited about the Home Sea Home update HOWEVER the game is super buggy. The invisible wall bug has NOT been fixed and there are some weird issues like the Doydoys having 2 heads and Packim going invisible at certain angles or not following. It might be ok for experienced players, but it won't give a good first impression to newbies. Wait for the next update to buy.

Excellent DLC, practically another version of the game with a lot of creative changes. (The PC version is definitely a 5/5 for me.) My only complaint about the app version is about the gameplay bugs, especially that Packem Baggins can be attacked by your character. If it's with you when there's an enemy attacking you (in my experience) you'll keep attacking Baggins while the enemy keeps attacking you until you die. It's very frustrating since Packem would be so useful if it worked properly.
