I picked up the bike at the parking area and was not able to return it at the same spot. I had to move the ride 100m to the park. the app isn't working well precisely. it feels like a scam. Don't use it.

Shocking app and service. Costs near double the price of some competitors for an objectively worse service. Vehicles don't unlock, rides cut out, there are barely any parking spaces - I could go on. Avoid at all costs.

My account has been banned 3 times over the course of a year for their software error in detecting the parking. Every time I have to take photos, prepare maps and send to the support to prove that the scooter was indeed parked at the right location, and they say, "Sorry, we've reactivated your account." But do you think people have the time to do that every time because your image detection software or GPS positioning has bugs?

As you can see from other reviews here, Dott are not interested in keeping customers happy or having a good reputation. The eScooter I hired in Tenerife was ok. They work on the principle that the rate they charge is hidden, or at best, buried deep in terms and conditions. I was charged €22.50 for 58 minutes use. This is 3 times what other providers are charging. I asked for reimbursement and they refused. Extortionate and concealed pricing. Others here are saying the same. Don't use Dott.

Registration always throws an error after the phone number was sent. It seems Dott is banning GrapheneOS via the Integrity API. It is impossible to contact support (except a chatbot, which is nit helpful at all), so my only way to get in contact is to write this review. Please do not ban secure and privacy-friendly OSs such as GrapheneOS. All other mobility apps including the old TIER app are working fine with GrapheneOS.

Please do something with the constantly locked parking spots that are literally empty but the app won't let me lock the scooter, but maybe at the other one, 10 minutes walk from my orig destination. It's literally theft right now. (Using the app in Budapest) And give me back my free rides from the tier app, because that is also an act of theft...

Terrible compared to the alternative providers more expensive, less flexible and no long term hire options. Pass doesn't auto renew which can be costly if you do not notice.

I've spent a fortune on pushing a barely working scooter on a no go zone. Plus it's easier to contact the president of any country them to get in touch with the customer service. If your going to let AI run your business at least make sure it understands messages and commands

if i could give 0 i would this app literally never works, rides don't start and cut out halfway through. you can unlock vehicles that just do not work or even start on the road (incredibly dangerous and inconvenient when roads go into highways thanks). plus the help service is non existent, i cant even report which rides are sufficient and which are not. how does this scooter system literally get worse per app when Voi wasn't even spectacular to begin with.

I downloaded the app on my other phone, couldn't log in with my account. The error message says "Sorry, something went wrong..." Then I tried to reach a human being through the customer service, I only get response from a chat bot, which doesn't help at all. When I asked it to switch to a human representative, it gave a long @ss unhelpful answer, no human interaction whatsoever. Unacceptable customer service!

the scan opens and shuts the phone's camera in 0.1 second, therefore unable to validate my ID. I cannot ride. The support just replied with an automatic email. it's been months, I'm trying to contact them again and they simply ignore me. please bring up some competition.

ride was soooooooo bad, the scoter doesn't start when you use the handle for power it requires you to give it a push first and then it starts very slow and stops without warning i almost fell multiple times and almost got hit by a car so i had to finish my ride and sadly it doesn't allow me to end the ride expet in the point for designated for it, I should literally sue you for the damage you caused me and almost ending my life with that faulty scooter. I don't recommend to risk ur life.

Most of the scooters don't work it's either no brakes or they suddenly stop accelerating, there should be an option scooter damaged so that you can place it in a full parking spot and replace it so you don't have to push it to the next parking. They use Google bicycle satnav and sometimes you will end up pushing the scooter because you'll end up in no go zones for scooters. I really wish they left Bristol so we can get a quality company back like VOI was.

It says try for free, after I downloaded the app it asked directly for personal and bank info only to find that the free ride requires sharing codes with friends. The price list is also horrible. I prefer Ryde instead, probably the best service and prices in the area.

This app does not support customOS like lineageOS. Even a locked bootloader is giving this useless error "something went wrong, try again later or contact support". AI support then told me that "rooted" devices are not supported. I don't know if they use the Play Integrity API or obsolete SafetyNet Attestation API. At least they should instead switch to standard Android hardware attestation API to support e.g. GrapheneOS.

Disappointed. I parked my scooter in a designated parking area and tried to end the ride, but the screenshot button didn’t work. I attempted to close the app and clear the cache, but nothing helped. The support team was unavailable at that time, so I had to leave the scooter there. In the end, I was charged around 9 euros.

very snaky. they offered a new customer promo of 0.5€ for first five minutes. The scooters were parked in an ordered manner outside the exposition area (which is already a non parking zone!!) and it was a trap! As soon as you start your ride, the closest parking is 12 minutes away, and you end up paying more than Bolt and other alternatives, which are generous with parking areas and allow you to park very close by!

The app has great deals and ebikes are the best way to get around central Rome. It has its issues, like you have to be well within the allowed zones because the gps takes a long time to get precise enough. But the concept is very difficult and their execution is pretty damn good. The bikes themselves are self shifting, the electronic assist is very intuitive, brakes were good, and the ride was comfortable.

Dott was great in Belgium but beyond horrible in London. In Belgium they were well taken care of, plentiful, and the app worked great. In London it was the exact opposite and a huge waste of time and money. The app didn't show no-go zones until you were half way through! Then you had to walk back to exit. Terrible. The worst part was spending 15 minutes trying to get the app to recognize that it was being parked in an approved zone. Very disappointed by the performance and would not recommend.

The app and the overall service is pretty poor. Contact Us page doesn't function at all and their live chat AI might be the worst I've ever come across. No in built navigation on a transport app is an insane oversight. Walked past 5 scooters/bikes over a km distance and they were all either reported broken or out of battery. Ended up wasting time just to end up taking the bus Update: Parking spot had 6 vehicles, all broken or out of battery. Got one that let me use it, and it didn't work
