Our game is free to play and no signup is required.

Double Deck Pinochle is a 4-player game where the players are split into 2 teams of 2 players. The goal of the game is to reach 500 points first. Points are earned through melding and trick-taking. Kings, Aces and 10s are each worth 1 point in a trick, and the last trick has a bonus of 2 points. Each team must score no less than 20 points in both melds and tricks to avoid penalties.

At the start of the game, each player is dealt 20 cards, and the trump suit is determined by having each player bid. The highest bidder chooses the trump suit and must have a marriage (King and Queen) in that particular suit. Tricks are played in clockwise order, with players needing to play higher-ranking cards if possible.

We're always open to suggestions, so feel free to reach out to us at https://worldofcardgames.com/double-deck-pinochle with suggestions for improvements.

The only thing that sucks is that the other team won without taking the hand...

I enjoy it. Play all your aces and then come back to me in trump.

My first hand, partner got the bid in diamonds. I sent A, J, J, of diamonds and Q of spades. My partner sent me a frickin Q of spades. I deleted the game immediately.

I love the game and I love playing against other people however the interface is really wonky and half the time I can't see my own cards

Cards are very close together so you can often play the wrong card and can mess up the whole game

AI partner is either actively working against you or dumber than a box of rocks. AI bids without meld to cover minimum, plays like a drunken teenager playing a card game of WAR and not pinochle. Other than that it's ok....

Play pinochle for hours every day for about 10 years, and one would understand the frustration. No app on here is sufficient for those of us who know how to run the game, let alone a hand. I suspect the app is suffice for 95% of individuals. However, 95% of individuals don't have a clue what they're doing....they just throw cards.

Are you serious.first thing wrong was that the cards were so jammed together that you couldn't see what you had to bid on. Next when I tried to play a card it was anybody's guess what card it would play. Total waste of time.!

Google Ads have overtaken my Double deck pinochle playing screen such that I have to exit the game when the game is over. I am being penalized for excessive exits and can't play at ranked tables.

I've played a lot of pinochle in my time and have never seen such a disgrace of a game. Bidding in the tutorial was an absolute joke, it's makes NO sense when your partner bids 52 initially and the game tells you they are trying to signal you that they have 20 meld with that why TF would your bid be 32 points higher than your meld EVER and then it tells you to take the bid in the tutorial with a meld of 38 and tells you to bid 3 points higher than your partner, this is literally awful 😂😂

4 of 5 because the game is very well created and simple.. if you know how to play... If you don't... Don't start here. Bidding is easier than anything. The only suggestion is to improve the width and player hand options to spread the cards out because it's easy to pick the wrong card. Good though with options.

I like the game but the interface needs a lot of work. Layout is unreadable for certain things, if I ever go landscape then I lose the ability to bid for the rest of the games because my hand is either covered by the bid box or when swapped back to portrait the cards are unreadable. Some controls end up off screen.
