Well, the app gets the job done, but it is awkward to use and lacks a lot of features like persistent zones and the option to setup multiple tasks with one-key shortcuts to easily perform and schedule common tasks. Also, Google Home does not recognize rooms in voice commands, so I cannot say e.g. "clean the kitchen". Put some more effort into development and you may get a good product, but as it is it is just clumsy and poorly designed. By the way: the in-app translations are just HORRIBLE!

Started great with the x40 ultra, recent updates have introduced a slew of issues, including inability for mops to re attach at base station, skipping entire rooms when asking to clean all with no obstructions.

Edit : As of 3 jul 2024 the app is much faster, seems to be loading nicely Old: Updated rating to low, basically constantly spams that my devices is offline when it's not, also it's loading time is huge (probably contacting china servers)

After the last update I am no longer able to connect to the device. When trying to remove and add the device again... no luck connecting to the wifi. Tried reinstall of the app, can no longer login. Avoid!!!

Everything was fine one week, successfully connected to the network, then after an update the robot l20 ultra appears offline and says restarting....forever...tried every possible solution to reconnect, all permissions, different routers, hotspots, vpns, no special symbols in ssid and pwd..no connection to network....very disappointing

I bought a Dreame L10s ultra. Big L. I had a lot of trouble connecting to WiFi. Managed to do it with an iPhone. On my own Android phone most of the functions in the app are greyed out and don't work at all. A two year old model shouldn't have such major bugs. So now it's a useless dumb bot I will have to return.

Writing a review because everyone else is a cry baby. This app is great, it works just like the Roborock and Mi Home app so no issues there. Personally, I love having a million settings to change. My old vacuum would mop my carpets because it was too dumb. That's why I purchased this thing. The app works fine, the map works perfectly fine. If I encounter an issue I'll update my review but man, most of you guys must just not know how to use it lol.

Couple of issues with settings. 1. Can't select the option mop after vac when specific rooms are selected for cleaning. But this is available if ALL rooms are selected. 2. Can't delete the schedule if not required. This will eventually creates a lot of unwanted schedules. 3. If more schedules are added, enable/disable toggle is hidden under ADD button.

Haven't had any issues. Lots of features. Everything I can think of it does. Haven't had a chance to use most of the features because of how many there are. Had to activate high frequency mop extend to actually see the mop extend though. Little things like that you need to play around with the various features to get it to work like you want.

Every single one-star review it's from the kind of person to that also gives one-star reviews for items ordered from China that broke in the box because someone threw them on an aeroplane. Somehow blaming the manufacturer. Same people that make technical support hotlines the more stressful job in the world. Hunt and pecking troll remarks unable to figure out the lowest level IT. The app works fine. There's tons of features. The only possible issue: WiFi signal distance. Buy a repeater!

Adding 1 star because it seems to be the hardware losing wifi connection & it may not be the apps fault. App still needs work tho! Pretty sketchy my 10s Ultra is losing connectivity already. I have an I.T. sysAdmin-level network at home with 45 other network devices (20+ are smart home devices), & a wifi 6 AP rated for over 200 devices. Guess how many devices are having problems connecting? Just 1. My robot vacuum. Do better Dreamehome. Otherwise vacuum works well... when found by your app

Eta: i really hope you didn't just buy one of these. Don't buy it. It last 2 months. It kept telling us to replace the filter. We did. It's all broken now. Can't send back to Hong Kong for warranty. It stopped sending me notifications so I have no idea if.it gets stuck somewhere. It still sends them to my husband that I shared the vacuum details with...just not me. It doesn't empty every time it docks.

This app does offer a lot, but it doesn't work on my Pixel 8 Pro. So frustrating. Also, it requires carpets to be placed as a perfect square in the app. It can't handle diagonal carpets even though the first time mapping does it perfectly, it won't properly mop and vacuum around that diagonal carpet ever again. Edit: now working with my Pixel 8 Pro! Edit: Works on my P8 Pro and I feel it's a great app!

App works ok. Many options but a bit messy -- sometimes it can be hard to find what you're looking for. Only two stars because of the terrible login management. Lets you create an account from the app but not from a web browser; that means storing your password in google password is nearly impossible. Logging from your mobile number requires getting a text every X months to re-connect. The password complexity rule is ridiculous and doesn't even accept passwords which satisfy the rule.

Very nice app. Overall, very intuitive, though it could use some improvements. Some specific settings and options are a bit hidden and should be a little easier to access. It's much better than the current 1.9 star rating it has. This shouldn't deter anyone from buying a Dreame robot vacuum.

Worst app ever! Hard to use, confusing instructions, and the pictures are wrong. Followed all the instructions, device kept saying successfully connect to network, and it indeed shows on my wifi list, but nothing add to the app. I tried many times, used 2 cellphone, still doesn't work. I will never buy again, and let all the people I know that never buy their products.

Tricky program, and seems incomplete. The company seemed to have a checklist of must-do's, but failed to round out the glitchy corners. The vacuum frequently displays "offline" or fails to mop, as well. I'm pretty good at troubleshooting, so I'm a little disappointed in unprofessional software.

Overall I'm very happy with my L20. The app is pretty intuitive to me, but there are some problems. First, when registering your password not only needs to have all the characters, but I had to shorten mine to 12 characters to get it to let me register, so beware password generators lol. Second, when sharing the device, if you enter a phone or email for someone to share with, you get an error if they haven't created one yet. So you have to send them a link to the app, have them register before.

Updated review: Initially experienced that app to be too slow to use. After several weeks with an advanced support person, it was determined that the map size and carpet rectangles were the cause of the issue. Removing carpet rects helps somewhat and they did an update that helped some more. More work is needed to support medium to larger maps (2000+ sqft home). The app still needs work on speed & prompt wording, live-view navigation, etc. Used with X30 Ultra on Pixel 8 Pro & iPhone.

Absolute garbage. I just got my L20 Ultra still in the box. I am trying to create an account, but despite following their requirements for a password, it keeps responding with "invalid password". I've tried several times with different email addresses, all to no avail. Based on the other reviews of this app, looks like I'll be returning the L20 Ultra still in the box for a full refund. It shouldn't be this difficult to create an account.
