The latest version is just terrible especially in Google Tvs since geniuses decided that we no longer need the drop down menu to browse for other channels when streaming. Now I have to leave the whole channel just to take a peek on whats happening on another channel especially when watching soccer games. Allow users to "downgrade" to former versions if you can't fix this. *End of rant*

The App is Fun but I have a challenge most times I log in to view a content but it shows a black screen with no visuals or audio. Is this personal or is it a general challenge even channel 100 dish is not showing on my device anymore what can be the cause or how can I resolve this. It's really frustrating. But aside that I have enjoyed if for over 4 years now. Up until this challenge

The update brought a lot of downside, it seems like more of a downgrade. No more full screen toggle button , no more auto rotate screen, it's really bad can't enjoy the full benefit of the app opt for the older version or I'll keep using google😏. Next time just leave things as they are if there are no glitches and bugs to fix

The only missing thing in the app is 1. Fix the challenges in scrolling to other channels while watching 2. Upscale to 16.9 or other options so as to help user select what best suits his or her phone. If that is done, it's good to go Android version of the app has a bad user interface e compared to that of iphone. New update on Android has brought the fill screen but poorly than, it zooms out of the range of the screen hence there need to work on it

It pains me to say what I am about to say because I've been in love with this app since it first launched, but this is getting out of hand. Why would one decide to change an interface that was convenient and simple to use and still felt like an actual decoder to this new update where you can't even switch to another channel without having to exit the channel you were already on, the app buffers a lot especially in catch up, and the feature to extend the stream to fullscreen is not there anymore.

Whenever I am logged out of the app, I notice that my details become incorrect. This is quite frustrating and I feel there must be an issue with the app's functionality. Additionally, I have observed that when there is a high amount of data usage, the video quality tends to deteriorate significantly. As a result, I have made the decision to refrain from using the app until these errors are rectified. It is important for the app to function correctly and provide a reliable service

To be honest I've been enjoying this app when I'm away from my decoder. The quality is nice and if you have stable internet, it works perfectly but the only problem is that there is a small time delay when you're watching live TV. when you're watching using the decoder it can be ahead by 30 seconds or so and another thing is it takes a while to start showing the channels after you were disconnected and you have reconnected.

This must be one of the worst apps available on the market and there is no uniformity on the layout and functionality from different device. The app freezes more than a camel in Antarctica. I've seen better app designs in the early 2000s. You would think that a company that charges 4-5 times more than any other streaming service would have a decent development team.

If I could give it a negative rating, I would! The app gets terrible by the day. I can't switch channels without going back to the previous menu. When you pick something to watch, it doesn't autoplay. Kills the whole essence of watching something 'live'. It's a pity that other streaming services can provide 4K output, but this app's quality is a far cry from that. Roll back this update, your bad service is a punishment that keeps on giving.

When this app decides to work it's fine. But boy oh boy is it the worst app ever when it decides not too. Search function is completely useless. It's as if the filter will not look for what you are searching for. Goodluck using it for casting. Even if you have dstv app on another device. It won't work. Goodluck signing out of a device and on with another account. Will default back to previous user unless you completely reset android device. Streaming is far from optimised. List goes on.

The last update introduced alot of bugs. 1. Can't watch live TV if you click on the "use data" option. It just shows a blank/black screen. 2. App keeps crashing when watching live TV. Please fix asap 3. The app doesn't work with auto-rotate function again. The screen is always fixed.

This new update is a step backwards. There used to be a time where you can easily scroll through channels while watching a program and cast to any devices nearby but this new update is where you seem the miss those little quirks and features. I feel a premium version of the app is coming where we pay for features that used to be free. This app is trash.

Edit: Thank you DSTV for increasing tarrifs on subscription(year in, year out). I no longer pay a subscription and will be deleting the app. Even my family doesn't consider it worthwhile anymore with the price hike. Everyone one has unconditionally found and adapted to various other alternatives due to the consistent hikes, not to talk of the worsening bugs on the catch-up feature. Anyways, it was fun while it lasted.

Improved from the last time. You had it good until you removed the ability to change channels while watching another. That feature helped in adjusting the full screen to fit the phone. Now you full screen is big and can't chant the channels. Please revise this update and fix or bring back ability to change channels while watching another. It helped to adjust the full screen

After the recent update the app is streaming smoothly without the need for logging out and logging in again .excellent job on the update , problems include :- 1. No streaming on Champion League days(Tuesday & Wednesday ) 2.The previous feature that allowed to change channel without exiting is not available. 3. It takes a while to work and doesn't work at regular intervals. Just to name a few..

Not enjoying the app ever since the rebranding. Why is it no longer possible to rewind when watching live tv? Also, it should be easier to switch between channels. It's annoying to have to go to the main menu just to change a channel, or go back and forth between two channels, especially with how slow the app is sometimes! Please bring these features back as everyone is asking for it!!! This will soon only be one star if changes aren't made!

It is hard to describe just how bad this app is. Especially on a smart TV. Navigation is bad and slow. Streaming is intermittent, even though none of the other 6 streaming apps on my TV have any issues. I don't get why you need to buffer, when your WiFi connection shows speed tests of 90Mbps+. It could really be so good. The content is so good. The access to sport is probably the best in the world. Their streaming service does not do them justice. Please fix it.

After working perfectly well for years, this App is no longer working on my TV Box device. It only opens sporadically. Once open after choosing a channel, it comes up blank. I have tried all possible solution, e.g.,. clear cache, clear data, uninstalling and installing again, rebooting the device. The linked devices keep on duplicatinI have given up and am no longer intereste in DSTv. It is time for a competitor to come into the market. Dstv is overpriced, and the customer service is very poor.

I initially gave this app a perfect rating, but started encountering problems immediately after updating it. Not sure anymore if these updates are meant to improve our experience or ward us off. The app is structured perfectly...its easy to use but the performance is gradually going beyond dismal. The option to watch TV wherever one may be at any given time is phenomenal...only if the app works. Hope it gets better. At this point, a 2 star rating is very generous.

This app logged me out of my streaming service, When I try to login , it said the password is incorrect. I tried to reset my password so many times using my email address that is registered to my subscription but I keep getting unexpected error. I called you guys so many times with no success. I am running out of options , I need my streaming account back! I am paying every month. Please fix your bugs.
