iPhone 15 Dynamic Island in iOS is not customizable, but dynamicSpot is! You can change appearance like colors or music visualizer, select when to show or hide the dynamic spot / popup or which apps should appear.
As dynamicSpot uses Android's notification system it is compatible with almost all apps, like messaging notifications, timer apps and even music apps!

Almost perfect. This is the best dynamic island I've found I love it. Especially the shortcut where I can click the camera button and have access to apps that I want there. Only bug I see is that when I click reply to a message using the pop up and hit send it doesn't send the message. Not sure why. I really hope this bug is fixed soon. Btw I'm using bluebubbles. Hope the developer sees this and fixes it! Otherwise 10/10 very happy!

Was good until it wasn't. I've been using this app for about 2 weeks or so. It worked fine the first week. I liked it so much I went for the paid version. With the recent update it no longer works as advertised. Now apps don't clear the spot when closed. I have to launch the Dynamic Spot app to clear it. Sometimes, hours after I close an app it suddenly appears on the spot.

I really wanted to love this. Its so very close to being usable. It would easily be 5* if it stopped breaking every few hours. It just gives me about 10 "checking payment" popups at once every few hours or so and is extremely annoyed. I paired it with the notification app by the same developer (should be noted that paid versions for both) , but its even more annoying then because then i just have doubt the failed notifications popping up rendering my phone until they stop and let me close them.

My biggest issue with the Pixel phones is the giant pop-up notifications. This app has totally addressed that problem for me. It works very well. The adjustments and other options show that the dev has lots of attention to detail. App is very straightforward with no real hidden surprises or ads. Just pay for the full version and you won't have some of the issues that the other reviewers describe. Apps like this aren't free to make

Nice app, paid for the extras, but I have one issue. When I have this enabled, notifications that can be responded to through the drop down in the notification bar, do not work. After clicking send, it just spins and never sends the message. After disabling the app, haven't had this issue again, so it's definitely related to it somehow. On a Pixel 6 Pro

Overall, an impressive take on an iPhone feature. One that surpasses it in some ways. However, there's a bug that causes an error most of the day. It seems the app is checking that the “donation” eh hmm, purchase, was made. It's becoming very annoying. Also, the expanded popup for some notifications doesn't always display correctly. For example, I use TrueCaller for my SMS and the mark read, delete, and reply buttons don't show half the time.

Great app! I feel like it will get better with time. Enjoy the coffee! I hope it gets a bit cleaner with swapping between the two most recent apps and eventually movable. I know it's designed to play into the camera but it would be nice to be able to place it at the bottom etc. If the primary app closes it leaves the secondary as the small bubble to the right. Would love to see that just resume as the new primary. If I close an app It should leave the dynamic island.

This is a really cool app. The set up wasn't that hard, if you're worried that this app may steal your information then don't be. The dynamic island 🏝️ is very handy. You can make your apps just to pop up from your front facing camera. Their is are notification bubbles when you receive them. You can make your island into a notch or just circled. But, DON'T put your phone to battery saver, mode because this app won't work. I'm telling you that it is a hassle trying to make this app work again.

Really nice app and went for the paid version as well. I like how it looks and it works most of the time. I have a couple issues with it, one being that it constantly pops up when my phone is connecting to certain devices via Bluetooth. I don't know if this is a bug or if my phone is constantly connecting and disconnecting with these devices but it gets quite annoying to the point where I've disabled that pop up feature.

When paired with popup blocker (from the same developer), this app works perfectly! It looks exactly like the iPhone 15 dynamic Island. Its customizable features let you put the dynamic island anywhere on your screen. You can adjust when and how you want the island to show. You can even select it to always show. I would definitely recommend this!

Worked perfectly with no annoyances when first released. Fast forward to the present and it constantly resurfaces static notifications you've already cleared that won't go back away unless you click them. Seems to be getting worse the more the app gets updates. Also, it now triggers system warnings constantly asking you to review its permissions. Say ok, and sometimes it'll ask you to do it again in 5 minutes, a day, two days, but it just keeps asking.

So far everything works great and the paid version is worth it for the customization and ad free experience. If you are using the free version and are unable to select any of the options on the app settings, it's because you have an ad blocker. To access the settings you need to disable the ad blocker or buy the paid version to support the developer.

Edit*....All previous bugs such as the equalizer in the notch not playing during music have disappeared. This app functions as though it were baked in Android. I have grown to absolutely rely on it on my Pixel Pro. Still discovering features much, much later. You will definitely want to pony up and get the pro version. Great work, devs! 5 outta 5 stars!

For the month or 2 having this app on my phone and using it, the free version, I liked it. Until I realized that it wasn't as close to the iOS version of the island as I desired. So I looked for another Dynamic island app in the app store and found one better than this one. The other one was FREE and had all of the features of the iOS version. All of the animations for FREE UP FRONT!

Love this app! Works great, looks great, highly customizable settings. I have no complaints, but I do have a suggestion. Whether a feature or a separate app, but it would be amazing if their could be a "live activities" like ios. So we can set it for certain apps, for example door dash. So I can see the live progress in the same pop-up as the notification from this app but it would be persistent. I feel like it could be done. Thanks for your work and building this app.

I just started using this app. I really love it, but I wish there was more customization with the expanded pop-up. My favorite thing about the dynamic island is the notifications pop up way at the top and out for the way. I wish I could "shrink" the expanded pop-up, or do something better with "auto expand", like just showing the text line instead of the whole thing. Then the contact image would be on the dynamic island, and the text would be right under it for some apps that I select.

Awesome. One thing I like to be added to the app is when a small pop-up goes away, it disappears from the center of the dynamic island, which is an odd animation for phones that don't have a hole punch camera in the center of the display ( for example Galaxy S10, ... ). Changing the animation of disappearing would be awesome (the animation in version 1.62 was so much better (not the premium one)). For that reason, I'll use version 1.62.

This app is great! I just have two minor complaints. First, I wish that hiding notifications wasn't in a separate app that you also have to pay to activate. Without it, this app is incomplete, and I just feel a little frustrated that they're separate. Second, I'd appreciate if add-ons to the app didn't show up in the drawer, but instead just added to the main app. This would be useful to me because I don't really like the clutter in my app drawer. Otherwise, very solid app!

been using it for a few years now, never once had a problem with it. it's the best app to use for dynamic island on android, it's consistent, it immediately works on reboot, it's highly configurable and it looks great. if you need help deciding which dynamic island app to use, definitely consider this one. alternatively, you can download his app that disables pop-up notifications to make it work even better. and the pro version is SUPER cheap, definitely get this!

There's not one ad at all, and I love that. I've had this for about quite about a year and find it very useful. It'd be cool if there were more features similar to the iPhone 16's development version. I'd be cool if it had utility functionality. like flashlight control, screen capture, toggle do not disturb, or allow the end user to choose what actions the island can toggle. Just an idea, think it'd be cool.
