I use this app for prescribed exercises that require me to hold many positions to the count of 30 seconds. I set the metronome to 60 beats per second. I like that I can choose the tone of the beat. It helps me focus and keeps my count honest. It's oddly soothing and doesn't use up much battery.

Phenomenal. I like the straightforward interface. I'm a musician albeit self taught. and some of the metronomes are so technically involved. Those features are cool as hell. However there is something to be said about being able to open the app and immediately go "okay I'm playing James Brown, it's in 4/4, it's 118 BPM. I'm going to start at 90 and gradually increase. Teaching myself bass is now so much more dynamic of an experience. Some other apps, setting the BPM etc is needlessly complicated

I love the app, It would be amazing if the tap section of the app appeared directly at all times on the main screen, and not in a subscreen. This way I could tap while counting and start the metronome, like: 1-2-3-4-start. Or 123start. Right now this cant be done. I hope this gets modified soon ;(

Honestly haven't found a problem with the app. Super simple, lots of important customization, no ads, great for different instruments because of how much you can switch up the tempo and notes. Might even by usable for beginner to intermediate drummers. (Edit- you can also create your own beat by tapping on the tiles in addition to selecting preset ones. Very handy.)

I needed a basic app with a metronome for vestibular therapy as I need to move my head at 80 BPM. It also has additional settings for musical purposes like per built timing and the ability to add additional notes. So far I've not been asked to pay, but if it was a one time fee I would because the app works well and is easy to use.

Unable to use without an internet connection. EDIT Not sure what was going on. Anytime I opened the app without internet it forced me to go to the play store. No way around it. Uninstall/reinstall seems to have fixed it, hopefully it doesn't happen again. Now if only I could play other audio while the metronome is going this would be perfect.

App starts running in the background when my phone (Android) connects to my car (uConnect). It's not a big deal, except for the tick tick tick tick that unwelcomingly starts playing over my car's stereo system. The app doesn't show up in my running apps, so I can't just close it. I like the app, but I hate this annoyance, so I'm removing it for something better.

EDITED REVIEW: Great app! You can adjust the beats so they are ALL at the same volume. I didn't realize that because I'm a natural moron! I've been a classical pianist for 60 years and have been away from the keyboard for a long time. I don't want stressed beats and I don't want pitches. I find the wood block to be the best timbre and least prominent pitch effect for my practice. GREAT, quick response from the developer to my earlier complaint here! Thank you! Buying the app now and recommending

Love it. Most apps that say free make you jump through a bunch of hoops before you get to even begin using the app( like email and personal info) then they bombard you with a bunch of ads. Not this one. As soon as I downloaded it I was able to use it no ads at all so far, which is amazing. You get different sounds and you can set it to your specific time signature with just the touch of a button. I am very impressed and greatful.

I am learning to read music. Easy metronome app is fantastic. It is teaching me to keep time. Which is invaluable when it comes to playing music. Easy metronome app has different sounds to pick from. It also helps me with reading notes in time, as I read the notes off the page I do it to usually 4/4 time 60 beats per minute. I would highly recommend this app to all who are in need of a metronome.

The great thing about this metronome, after you get the timing, the bpm, and the volume all adjusted, is that the back and forth motion can catch your peripheral vision, even during note reading. If you are syncopating around the beat, either before or after, the back and forth block motion is both relaxing, in a groove, and able to be perfectly caught in the peripheral, adding to the practice mode and calming potential nervousness. Great music device!!!

Nice, clean, simple UI. This is the metronome I am currently recommending to my students, as it isn't full of ads and pop-ups that will interrupt you while you're just trying to get in some practice. There are only two small things that I'd like to see changed. When selecting the subdivision, the "quarter note" is displayed as an eighth note (has a flag), and I'd like to be able to input a tempo by typing it in, rather than just using the + and - buttons or the slider. Otherwise, I love it. 👌

Not bad for a FREE app. It has different sounds- though not many. You can adjust the time signature & note value. For just practicing, it comes in very handy & does the job. I would recommend this app for any beginner who is starting out. It will keep you in time if you are willing to do your part in keeping with the beat 😅. Have fun practicing. Practice makes perfect.... Lastly, remember it is a FREE app. There are no big bells & whistles here. However, it helps you keep the beat 👍✌️.....

The name says it all. It's simple and intuitive. It's all i need for a tempo check as i practice. I REALLY like the (-) & (+) icons at the end of the indicator bar. It allows for an incremental change in tempo without messing around with a touch button that always moves way too much. If you want lots of bells, whistles, ticks, tocks, tam-tams, this isn't it. This is a great, simple, and easy metronome. Thanks!

Best run cadence metronome for 180 steps. It is so simple and I love the interface and sound options. I paid for the full version to get the meditation sounds which I love for when I turn the music off and want to run in the zone. It has a sound mixer so you can listen to music as well as the metronome plays. I wish you could adjust the mixer volume so I can make it more faint so the music comes through. Other than that this all has helped to keep me injury free and running more efficient.

It does what it says and does it well, although I have two small crits. One, I hoped and wish the metronome would flash too instead of only sounding. Secondly, I like a louder sound. Phone volume up all the way and I had some difficulty still hearing. I connected to a Bluetooth speaker, though, and could hear the tone fine. Major plus (so far) no ads.

I had a gonto metronome app before this one, but because I bought a new Samsung smart watch, I had to reload a metronome. I ran across this and let me tell you; I like the different options this possesses, especially being able to change the ticks to kicks and drums, which helps me in my writing ability. Definitely recommend this metronome!

As advertised, easy metronome. Used for meditation. I even found the extra paid sound kits useful. Love the widgets, make it really convenient. Would have given 5 stars if i could adjust bpm from the widget without having to open the app. As it is now, the widgets are just play / pause buttons; I'd like to see them do more.

I love this app for its practically and simplicity. My only observation would be that all the time signatures have a higher pitched 'downbeat' when using the 'digital' sound (in 1/4 they're all higher which gets a bit irritating). It would be helpful if this could be deselected. Otherwise, a great, useful tool. Thank you.

Best free metronome I've found. The timer is an awesome feature allowing you to start it then not worry about shutting it off. As a conductor I would love to see 2 more options: a "no sound" option (flash only) and ability to create 5 or more shortcut buttons (preset to my desired tempo) This would allow me to quickly get a tempo without having to drag/tap during rehearsal.
