More About eCourts Services
• eCourts Services App is useful to Citizen, Litigants, Lawyers, Police, Government Agencies and other Institutional Litigants.
• In the App services are given under different caption viz. Search by CNR, Case Status, Cause List,calendar and My Cases.
• CNR is unique number assigned to each case filed in District and Taluka Courts in the Country, through Case Information System. Simply by entering the CNR one can get the current status and details of the case.
• Case Status can be searched by various options like Case Number, Party Name, Filing Number, FIR Number, Advocate Name, Relevant Act of the Case and Case Type.
• All above options are shown in the App with identifiable separate icons under the Case Status tab
• Initial search result of case status is displayed with Case Number and names of parties.
• Once link of case number is clicked current case status and entire history of the case is displayed with expandable view captions.
o Case Details caption shows information of Case Type, Filing Number, Filing Date, Registration Number, Registration Date and CNR Number.
o Case Status Option shows information of First Hearing Date, Next Hearing Date, State of Case, Court Number and Designation of Judge.
o Expandable view captions viz. Petitioner and Advocate, Respondent and Advocate, Acts, History of Case Hearing, Judgment and Order, Transfer Details can be viewed when user clicks any of these expandable captions.
o The “History of Case Hearing” caption shows entire history of the case from first date of hearing to current date of hearing. When we click date of hearing shown in the form of link, it will show business recorded on clicked date.
o Judgment and Order caption shows links of all judgments and orders passed and uploaded in the selected case. Link of the Judgment and order can be clicked to view the same.
o “Add Case” button can be seen while viewing the case history, on the top right corner “. Any case can be saved with the help of Add Case button. Once a case is added, the button changes its appearance and caption to Saved Case.
• In the option named Advocate under Case Status, information can be searched by name of Advocate or his bar Code. Once Bar Code of any advocate registered with system is entered, it generates list of all cases wherein his name is tagged with the case.
• Date Case List is unique cause list option which generates cause list all cases of Advocate listed before all courts in the Complex.
• Litigant or Lawyer can save all cases of interest, which will be shown under My Cases tab. This helps them to create and manage Portfolio of their cases or Personal Case Diary for further use.
• Today’s Cases button shown under My Cases tab provides facility to view only today’s listed cases from all cases saved under My Cases. One can select another date to see the cases listed on selected date.
• When case details are accessed through My Cases, it gives option to “Remove Case”
• Refresh button is given adjacent to Today’s Cases to update the information saved under My Cases.
• If any case is not updated or refreshed because of connection issue, App will show this information as “connection error”.
• Cause List option generates cause list of selected Court.
• Backup facility is provided to take backup of saved cases on mobile Device
o By using Export option backup can be taken in text file format on device
o By using Import option data can be restored in My cases tab.
Facilities like calendar, caveat search, and court complex location on Map.

The mobile application refresh feature is not working properly and cases are not being displayed even after multiple tries and the cases are not updated on their respective dates The issue is is very very irritating and is causing a lot of inconvenience in the justice delivery mechanism. And the order should be uploaded in the readable format only. Regards

Most of the time data not fetching. Probably server slow or not availabe. 2nd april 2019. Under cause list Under city civil court complex Court name list not available for long time. Without this no further details can be viewed. Kindly correct the software bug. Attached the screen shot. Thank you. Already three times sent the details. But so for until 10th march 2019, the problem not solved. kindly rectify the app bug. Thanks.

I had used this app previouly it was fantastic experience.. But Now I changed my device and trying to import my backup cases from previous device it does not happening. Cases are not importing either from internal storage or drive.. What to do?

How to update to the latest version? Tried Exporting My cases. But the app did not save them on my phone. This app is excellent use for users. Thank you for the app and your enormous efforts. Great effort by the Judiciary department. I request you to give an option to the parties to leave message to the Judicial Officers to speed up cases and their replies. Only then Judiciary can reach their goal of serving the Justice. Or else there is no much use just by knowing the status of our cases.

This app could've been a lot better if they just focused on the main problems rather than changing its UI. Ever since the update, it takes long time to open and then a lot of buffering. Beisde this, most off the times o can't open any case detalis, everytime i try for that, just buffering logo comes up. Fix it as soon as possible.

Terrible app. Locking local search behind online connectivity is braindead. Inability to export my data to a folder that won't be deleted, if the app is uninstalled or its storage is deleted, is insane, especially since Google drive integration frequently fails. Only saving a hyperlink to the case instead of saving the case details to memory is amateur.

* There is no provision for taking printouts of the details. When we search 3 or 4 steps and if we press back button, it goes back to first page instead of the previous page and this causes loss of time. For the last 2 weeks, the app is not working, notable to select the state-etc. Years passed but no attempt to better the app...I am from Wayanad District, Kerala state.

App is not able to use. Earlier it use to get stuck with state / Taluks ( Drop down menus were not displayed). Now the app is getting stuck with case type (Drop down menus are not displayed). I am trying this forore tha 2 months. Developer of this may look in to it. Currently app is not useful to users. If itches are solved, it may become good app.

Great app, all courts data at one place. But facing several issues since last update. App not working like before, not updates daily data. Mostly got stuck or hangs at processing stage. When the app is not helping in urgent times, what is the use of this app. After recent update, app requires internet even for search in saved data. Older version was better because you can search in your saved data even offline.

Updating of District Court cases is not working past several days. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but the problem continues. Also, I realised the hard way that the export function needs to be used separately for high court and district courts. Since it is from the main menu i felt that all data is exported, only to find out after reinstallation that high court cases have not been backed up.

The app is really fantastic. I loved it and would like to thank you all for bringing this wonderful app. But after the last update I'm not able to see the case details coz its not opening. For that I have to go to case status and see the updates. But the earlier version prior to 27/11/18 was very good. I would request you to revert back to that version and include the previous date option in calendar.

It used to work fine , but after the last update it has become unresponsive. Upon opening the application the app becomes unresponsive and hangs on loading screen; it seems like the initial query call is taking too long ... Especially during working hours. Case status update is not showing up - it is not updating for some reason. Please fix it...

The UI of the app is good but whats the use of a good design if the app is not going to function at all. Initially it was good for first 1 or 2 searches. After that every time it gave an issue in "select court complex" if that was ok there was issue in "select case type" could not search anything. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling cleared the cache too but still the same issue. The problem with government apps is they are made with a cheap budget the money gets eaten away by ministers.

This app gives you the case status whenever you want in your mobile. Which is very appreciatiable. But the app doesn't work well on Mi devices. I have Redmi 6a mobile. This app does not work well. Do not load cases. When I choose to search case by FIR no., after selecting state and district, the loader does not turn off. It doesn't let me enter FIR no. If I enter CNR number of the case, the loader does not turn off. If I try to do the same on ecourts website, the same happens there.

It's useful but some times takes so much of time to load and shows error... Please provide link to attach to email or Google drive option for added and saved my cases list .it's very important for every advocate...3 times I lost my added case list in "my cases" due to change of phone and by import export process...I tried to import from the exported file but it doesn't seem anywhere....but it's not working as export option...I could not even recover the earlier saved cases. But lost the present

Works fine for a couple of months but then resets by itself. I am using this for almost 6 months now and for the 3rd time in about every 2 months or so the app stops updating and displays that "server is busy" and it starts working only when you either reinstall it or clear previous data. Thus becoming very troubling for ones that have hundreds of cases stored. Developing team should have a look into this.

I like this app, it is very convineint, the features like cause list, case status makes it very easy for Advocates to know about the cases but there's alot of need to improve like it needs full speed internet otherwise won't work. When I entered filing no. and the registration no. was yet to be given, it didn't show up. I had to remove the case and re-enter with reg. no. again. Rest, I think so far is really good.

The idea behind this app is definitely a commendable one but the app itself is infuriating. App frequently crashes or won't load. Most of the time when you try to select the case type or court complex, either it would just keep on showing the 'loading' animation or it just won't show list of case types or court complexes! If these issues are fixed, only then I would be able to say this app is truly helpful.

Search option not working. App is very convenient and helpful. But for the past 2 months the search option in "my cases" is not working, in my Samsung Note 10 Lite device, whereas the same feature is working on my friends devices. It had previously worked wonderfully on my mobile. All my friends told me to update the app & phone& I ve down so. I used to frequently use the said option to immediately get tot hw case details ,but now I have to manually go through the whole list of cases manually.
