Eero secure page is unable to drill down into which devices have triggered the blocking policies. It just crashes or goes back to the home screen. Support has been unable to assist. Problem exists on multiple phones even after reinstalling. Detailed settings and reports are a feature that is missing in my opinion for advanced users. Lack of a web interface for local computers to access management/reporting is also missing.

App is utterly useless. It says you are connected to the internet even when it isn't. It's not until you try to run a speed test that you might see it say it can't connect. But then you go back to the main dashboard, and it claims everything is connected and online. What a joke. Also, when you try to use the app to restart the eero units, it always has an error. You have to run around and unplug each one manually. It's been like this over 2 years, so don't expect it to get fixed.

Works really poorly and is never accurate. Will say that Eeros are online when they're not, will say that Eeros are offline when they aren't. It's completely useless in its current state. Would also be nice if I could use the app to connect certain devices to certain Eeros, or to see the amount of bandwidth each device is currently using (even if it's just percentage based). But if even the basic functions always fail, then I can't imagine features that useful ever coming out.

I was having constant connectivity problems with my ISPs modem but could not remove the modem since we also have a phone line connected to it. After some months of reviewing different products, I settled on the Eero 6 Pro as a choice for our medium sized house. It was easy to set up -- even with the ISP modem in the mix -- although changing all the connected devices I have in our home proved to be a two full day process (mostly because Google and some vendors does not make changing easy.) I found the app to be somewhat limiting -- though that may be because I have extensive experience in the computer field -- and I find the reporting, even with eero secure, to be VERY minimal. In particular, it was difficult to add a couple of devices that would not connect when both 2.4 and 5 GHz were in use. Also, the Beta items are still a really Beta! However, speeds were GREATLY improved thanks to the 5 GHz band. In addition, the ISPs modem was failing badly with 23+ devices on the network. I was having to reboot the modem almost daily. Now, I have great coverage throughout the house and I have had to reset the ISP modem only one time in three weeks (and I'm not sure that wasn't really a Spectrum problem.) I wish the app had a few more features, was better organized, and had better reporting for intrusions, viruses and questionable websites. It would be helpful to know what things are actually trying to get in, not just how many tried! I would still easily recommend this system to anyone! P.S. WPA3 needs more work!

You got me. I paid hundreds for the hardware, only to get it installed and realise I have no control over anything unless I pay you more. I read about an old $30/yr plan. I would probably begrudgingly pay that and might even still tell people how good the hardware is. This is just a dirty money grab though. Basic things cost money, I have to pay to see something every other router gives me for free. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Regarding the functionality I do see, it's slow, unreliable.

During installation, app was not able to locate my eero using Bluetooth. I had to type the serial number. The app seems misleading in the information displayed. Sometimes you clearly see, based on a speed test, that you've been shifted to the 2.4 ghz channel, but the app still shows you on the 5.0 ghz for several minutes. Sometimes it displays your status as Idle even though you're streaming HD on YouTube. This makes it challenging to understand what's going on.

It is user friendly...somewhat. To experienced users of router configuration, this app is lacking, to new people it may be a bit misleading. It like most apps, is lacking some easily implemented key features. Why try to simplify a process if other aspects are made unmanageable. That in itself makes the entirety of app less useful, and just more of a headache.

I've been an eero customer for over 4 years now, and it feels like the service they've been providing has gotten worse since I joined in October of 2018. Initially my eero 5 pros were rock-solid, and the app ran smoothly. I didn't like having "premium" features locked behind a paywall, but it was only $3 monthly. Now that tier is gone, and there's only $10 monthly and $100 annual plans. The app is buggy, lags, and needs frequent reboots. Don't get me started on their "new" pro 6 routers.

The app used to be pretty descent controlled well, very user friendly pretty accurate. A few updates ago, it has become very unresponsive and does some randoms things. If possible, in a future update I would like to be able to pick which devices connect to particular eero boosters, devices seem to cluster to one or just don't connect to the nearest one, and I think that's just because the devices connect to whichever eero comes online first. You can work with it like an on and off puzzle game.

Not bad, but lacks a couple of things. Where is the Smart Queue Management option I see talk of when I research on the internet? With slow internet, something like this is a must, yet the option isn't there when I go to Eero Labs. There needs to be an option to display every device using bandwidth as one list, along with the amount of bandwidth currently being used. It's cumbersome to have to click through 15 devices to check bandwidth usage individually. Fix these two issues and get 5 stars.

Where to start? Auto detect of new devices never worked, I had to enter serial numbers every time (upwards of a dozen just because I had to keep restarting the whole process). App has no menus or buttons, just a status screen that links to more status screens, so you can't see all connected devices or created networks, just the last one you set up. Once setup and ethernet removed, no connection. App won't let you contact support unless the app detects a problem. Returning product.

It's really fantastic. The Android app really is that bad. Eero's premise is simple - rock solid mesh wifi that just works. It's not the fastest. It's not the most configurable or data rich. But it just works. Lost a star because setup with the Android app is an exercise in frustration. Lots of clicking back to find the right screen, status screens under other screens, etc. It's ridiculous.

The devices work fine when they work. But if you ever need support for a non-functioning device and you call them, that's where it goes bad!! You'll face an endless empty loop of people wanting you to connect, reconnect, disconnect, relocate, and plug and unplug everything, to NO AVAIL. It was immediately clear that my device had stopped functioning, but the support people seemed pre-programmed to avoid replacement at all cost. Ultimately, the vendor who sold me the units replaced it.

Hardware is great, and I see continuous improvements. The issue is related to their business practices: they want to turn hardware into recurring revenue via subscription. So the basic functionality offered by routers for the past few decades are being added into a subscription. Offer real innovative if you want people to pay for it, not nickel and dime people for basics.

Eero is a great way to keep track of all devices on your account, how much each device uses and it gives you updates on your wifi speed, performance, monthly usage and lengthens your wifi reach, so you can be sure the whole house gets uninterrupted service. My only probablem is when you want to troubleshoot connectivity or wifi down, it doesnt help because it works off your wifi. No wifi no help! Outside of that, its great little device to have.

The app works well most of the time, but for some reason, lately, it has been saying devices are offline, but the device itself is showing it has wifi access. Or it shows devices connected but using no activity. I've never had any issues with this app before, and it also could be my provider and not the app itself.

This app keeps kicking me off. Line. My internet has a really good connection in my modem is working good but when I log into the app. It keeps saying I'm offline and need to update but it's not letting me update it. I have reinstalled it a couple times! It also is not letting me pause an unpause people from my internet! Please fix this! We use the internet a lot for home school! So the issue is either with the app or erroBOX! Keeps kicking me on and off line!

Hardware works well as installed by Frontier. To access settings I set up a new account but the app wants to repeat initial setup. There is no skip or bypass option. I don't want to disturb working settings. Support has been great but I'm still working on resolving this. Ultimate goal is to install a wireless Brother printer, something that seems excessively difficult.

This is not an app, it's a crapp. I want to change custom DNS, and after laboriously typing in IPV4 and IPV6 addresses THREE TIMES, and hitting save THREE TIMES, then waiting for ages THREE TIMES to reboot the system...it goes right back to what it was before. Garbage app for a garbage mesh. More e-waste for the pile, I guess.

I love the promise of the eero ecosystem and have great hopes for it. HOWEVER, the main connection display leaves a lot to be desired. Specifically, the Amazon Echo extension functionality and status. The display is very hit or miss accuracy and not real time at all. Very disappointed. Still seeking advice on getting my device to connect to the nearest Echo extender. Would be nice if the app told me what's happening in real time.
