this app is so perfect don't need to use Duolingo this app. Is not like others you don't need to pay just learn and you can even replay the lesson for more information it's. Like messaging someone Korean without getting scammed and this helped me a lot more than. Duolingo they will tell you about each letter and I understood more than I thought I could and I'am still learning but the fun part is you can have so much fun learning Korean in eggbun. get it now if you're learning Korean.

This app was so cool, but I have to rate this 1 star because the team NEVER responds to messages. I've emailed three times, sent DMs on Instagram, commented on posts, and messaged them on Facebook. No response. I paid for the lifetime premium and it doesn't work. Lanny doesn't respond to messages and matching rooms don't work or even load. I tried to be patient, but watching y'all post on IG while ignoring customer complaints is not a good look. Either give me a refund or fix the app. Thank you.

After using my free lessons for the day, I immediately bought a subscription. The app is entirely immersive, teaching Hangeul, writing, typing, pronunciation and vocabulary simultaneously. Take it at your own pace, revisit lessons. I'm hooked! Some soundbytes are missing, but I just consider those words as extra challenges!

It's a good app. Useful, but, unless you plan on paying for the full version, don't bother downloading it. It has a monthly payment fee, (which in my eyes is stupid. Why not just make it a single payment, and then move on?), and you can only get to the first part of chapter two in lesson one before it says you need to pay for the rest. Use apps like Duolingo, that doesn't limit you, even if you don't pay for it. This is a good app, and I'm sad that I can't use it fully, without having to pay.

It was great until they more than doubled the price. If you're willing to pay, they give some really good info. Since they want me to "elaborate, " I found Eggbun years ago and it was like $5 per month for premium. I took a break for a while for unrelated reasons, came back and it was (and still is) $12.99. I'm just not going to pay that when there are more cost effective options out there. Like I said, if you're cool with that price tag, you'll get some good info, I just rather get it elsewhere

Honestly though it may take you a while to grasp everything , but I will say that this app is so cute that it gives you the motivation to want to learn and it's also ,good to just keep practicing but ,I would also say have other materials that you can use other then this. cuz I personally don't think that this will teach you how to form sentences but it is good just to keep practice.

Eggbun is an amazing Korean learning app! It is my absolute favorite and I'd only wished I'd found it sooner. It gives so much detailed information about not only Korean but Korea itself. Eggbun puts that information out in a way that is simple and easy to understand and learn. There's speaking, typing, and listening practice involved as well which is extremely helpful. Lanny is also one of the most adorable mascot/avatars that I have ever seen!

This app is really helpful for learning hangul, but there is one problem. When I type the character for the a sound and the character for the I sound, they won't combine and it gets really frustrating because it says I did it wrong but really it just wont let the letters combine into one. Other than that small issue, great app. Would reccommend.

The app is not free, you must pay for the subscription. I wish that this was shown better. From the short lessons that I was able to do, I like the app and it worked well for the most part. I did encounter some bugs with the sound. I didn't like the font style in the app because it made it difficult to decipher some of the Korean characters.

Don't get me wrong its a great app to learn Korean but it crashes Amazing text concept and its so intriguing you want to keep learning. The only problem is it crashes frequently and you can't use it for a while. I upgraded and now when I entered the app it won't let me sign in. Even when I Uninstall and install. I wish you can fix this crashing problem since others are having it too.

I use the free version and so im allowed to do 1 lesson a day right? well it never loads the next lesson the next day. several times ive been stuck on the same lesson for days at a time with it saying the next lesson is locked. i have tried updating, deleting and reinstalling, signing out and back in.... i love the app, its easy and fun to use, but i really wish it worked how it was supposed to.

Someone introduced me to Eggbun and I'm so glad they did. I love how each short lesson is presented - the pronunciation and the repetition of words and phrases, the opportunity to practise typing out words or properly putting together words. I'm remembering and retaining more than when I used Duolingo, for example. Since using Eggbun I've been more consistent with my learning. Most of all it's a fun way to learn.

From what I enjoyed so far seemed to be a solid app. My main gripe with the app is that it stunts growth and progress by forcing you to pay for what should be baseline content. One lesson unlocked every 24-hours is absolutely absurd. I would have accepted a more freemium model with the option to buy certain premium features. even unlocking more lessons by watching ads would have worked better than the current model. Please look into trying to make the app more appealable to a wider audience.

This app is amazing! Its very easy to use and is the best language app I've found! The only problem I have is that to unlock literally anything, you have to pay and I dont have money I can spend (because I dont have a credit or debit card). I understand why they ask you to pay but I wish there was an app where you can learn Korean but not have to pay.

I love it. Its so easy to learn new words and phrases. And learning is so fun. For example, I know that furniture in korean is kagu, or if i want to write it, its 가구. And its so much better than google translate because it also gives good pronunciation methods like how in the beginning instead of saying "g" it should actually be pronounced "k" because these consonant letters are silent-like in the beginning of a word. It helps with these type of common mistakes!!

Great app...then it went premium. Another awesome language app that won't just use ads. I don't mind ads. I understand you need to make money, but giving someone the idea that it's free, then after the first lesson everything is locked. At least open with that. It was really useful. Great app. Helped a lot...when I first had it and I could go beyond lesson 1. Maybe a "you have to wait until tomorrow" thing and premium just let's you keep going. Add ads. It just sucks that I'm coming back to learn Korean and every app I used decided to lock everything. Whatever, uninstalled.

I love how you can go at your own pace and pick courses based on your own goals. The vocabulary and grammar are both very good, with a class option for random/natural conversation to practice. However, I do wish there was more repetition of previously learned vocabulary throughout other lessons. There is a small bug where my weekly lesson count doesn't reset, though its not a big issue. Overall a fantastic app.

The pricing on this app is listed incorrectly, and makes everything look cheaper than it is. The monthly prices are all wrong, and lower than they should be. That $4/month for 6 months option? It costs $29.99, so it's actually $4.9983/month. If you click the $5/month monthly option, it charges you $5.99. Thank god Google payments actually shows you how much they're charging, because I wouldn't have had any way of knowing the real monthly price for that one in the app.

This is a subscription app ($12 a month), or you can otherwise do one free lesson per day. However, if you're starting from the beginning (learning Hangul) the lessons are very short; I've been able to complete most in under a minute. It makes the progress feel glacial if paying nearly $150 to use an app for a year doesn't seem like a reasonable investment (and it doesn't to me.) Also, the sound on lessons suddenly stops working about half the time, so there's that. But $12 a month.

I have to change my review, I have used this app now for two years and have resubscribed for two more years. It is such a rewarding way to learn. You practice everything. Speaking, reading, writing and the part I absolutely need practice with, sentence formation. Please include more challenging sentence formation exercises. Thank you so much. I'm really enjoying your app and your responses to my sometimes odd requests.
