Don't purchase the premium. They only do it 6, 12, and 24 month plans. You can cancel the renewal, however you're stuck with the full plan. Plus there's like no one on the app, so it's not like you can really use it anyway. It's also a pain to even cancel the plan, you can't do it in app. It'd only onbthe website. In short, it sucks and not worth about $30 (for me) a month. Especially because I'm stuck with it for 12 months.

Can't do or see anything unless you pay for 6 or 12 months and it was between 30-60 bucks. I did enjoy the test the give to get to know your personality and the type of person you're looking for. However I live in a rural area and the app doesn't let you pick your area it goes based off your GPS. The app also doesn't let you pick the distance out which was set to only 30 miles out, so only 4 people popped up in my surrounding area. I deleted it because it's not a good 1st impression

DO NOT DOWNLOAD! You can't even filter your search without a subscription. You CAN'T cancel subscriptions... I realized after like 2 weeks I didn't like the app; tried to delete account from the app, was told from the app to go to website; went to website, was sent an email saying premium members don't have option to delete their accounts!! I was told they could help me delete it in the email, but I'd still be charged monthly until end of subscription period, and the shortest is like 3 months.

Limited and somewhat broken tech. One is limited on search filters and you have no option to sort searches. Also, when removing profiles from your search they end up in your favorites when that was the last thing you wanted. Seems outdated or broken by updates...they need to fix the app. Oh by the way...it is not better on a PC.

Ridiculously Expensive! $400+!!! That was the least expensive option, for 12 MONTHS! I cancelled auto-renewal but I can't cancel the plan, I've already paid $123 and they're apparently going to charge me three more times whether I like it or not, whether I like or use the service, or not. There was a class-action lawsuit against eHarmony in Australia, specifically over the shady membership billing practices and the lack of basic features. We need to do that in the U.S.

DO NOT PURCHASE PREMIUM. Decided to do a trial of the premium and they charged me a whole years worth. I tried to cancel that same day and got an email saying it's outside of the cancellation window. Apparently their policy only gets you cancel if you're from certain states. Just a money hungry hungry company. Now I can't pay my bills because of a mistake. Currently fighting to get my money back. Don't use this service, it's a scam.

First of all, the app is very expensive, but I'm committed, so I purchased a subscription. Their compatibility "system" is very confusing, AND they keep showing me the same 5 or 6 guys! Even after I opened my search wide, not many people to choose from. I will be canceling. An EXPENSIVE disappointment.

Want to meet people in your area? Pay for it. Want to see peoples photos? Pay for it. Want to reach out on a consistant basis to people youve matched? Pay for it. Using filters to more easily find compatible matches without hours of sifting through blurred photos like the app was designed to do before when it was still just a website? You guessed it! If you love lack-luster bare boned and predatorily monetized than this is for you. Otherwise its a waste of time.

No free trial or even basic attempt to sell you on it. You do the quiz, setup your profile. That's it. All the profiles have the pictures blurred and are pretty far away. I live in a fairly big city so idk why they would make a point of showing me nobody from it. The quiz doesn't even come into play. It just makes suggestions based on topics you tag as interests like other apps. Guessing by the other reviews their business is based more on trapping people in a difficult to cancel subscription.

Predatory billing practices. No matches. Seems like there are dead accounts still on the network to make you think there are more possible candidates than there are. Payment system is designed to extract. They auto turn on auto pay, and then do their best to not remind you payment is coming up. Then they up the charge for the next auto payment. And then when you ask for cancellation they demand you pay for a whole up charge year just to cancel.

When messaging someone the screen would lock up if I tried to move the cursor backwards. I would have to delete the app and reinstall it. It would not allow me to spell reinstall, forced the word "Reinstaller".(yes, with an upper case R). Also, it wouldn't allow me to spell several other basic words. It sent me "matches" from women way out of my age and distance range. I contacted them about the issue, got no response. I canceled at the end of my subscription.

Members send "likes" without the intention of starting a conversation. A like should only be allowed AFTER a conversation and connection is established. People are sending likes because you both like the color blue. You need to restrict the ability to send likes. Without this control the app is worthless. E Harmony makes a big deal when you receive a like, but it should only be allowed if the intent is to establish a friendship.

This app is a joke, so don't waste your money. 1st & foremost, there really are no benefits to this dating app compared to any free ones, there's only much fewer people on it, which makes it very limiting. Also, if you don't cancel your subscription it will renew it & hit you again for whatever you paid for last time, it gives no notice prior that is the case & you can't cancel it to get your money back. The icebreaker feature, which in theory is a good idea, was handled so poorly its useless.

This is a horrible service. Paid $300+ for a 6 month subscription. When setting up my account, I turned off auto renewal. Somehow, the auto renewal went through. They gave me no notification of the renewal or that they we changing my plan to a 12 month plan costing $766. Luckily, my bank blocked it. After talking to customer service, they say I need to talk to a specialist to cancel my account. I'm still waiting to hear from the specialist.

I would love to give this a proper try, but they make the membership extremely binding. The smallest option available is 6 months with forced automatic renewals. You can "cancel anytime," but only if you jump through hoops backward with your eyes closed. If there was a 1 month, no renewal option, then this site would be good. Reading articles and reviews online confirms to me that that app is dying. Too bad.

I signed up for a one year subscription and paid, and I knew I wasn't going to renew and I know I cancelled the service and autorenewal immediately. Now I'm getting a past due email a year later with a threat to go to collections. If the goal of the service is to match you with someone, but they try to keep charging you even after you've found someone, then they probably aren't actually trying to match you. Don't give them anything, don't agree to anything, go to a library and meet someone.

Good but they need to workout the messaging problems. It takes forever for you to get notified you have a new message. But most of the time, I get an email stating I have a message when I never got a notification from the app. Also, there is no way to input a limit of distance. I'm getting likes/views from across the country. I do like the questions when you set up your profile. It helps with matches. But because of the kinks, I feel like this app isn't worth the price.

I got a year subscription. I can't cancel it despite the fact that I have only seen about a dozen men over the past 4 weeks in my entire feed. I have extended the distance as far as it will go and still have one man per day pop up on my feed and they are nothing close to my preferences. This entire app is garbage. Do NOT waste your money. It is expensive and there are no people on it, especially in Arkansas.

I feel so disappointed. I have some friends who found their husbands on this app years ago and I've dragged my feet because of the pay commitment. I finally decide to pay, even though I heavily dislike how they blur everyone's profile images, only to find I have a whopping 10 profiles to look at within 60 miles. I live in the suburbs. I'm in a decently populated area and my criteria aren't that deep. eHarmony was no help either. They have nothing to offer. If you're searching, skip this app.

Not a big fan, probably wouldn't have posted a review but they tried to get me with an "alternate" plan upon attempting to cancel. It pops up when you select the cancellation option, and looks enough like a verification screen that I nearly went through with it before understanding what was going on. So yeah. Eharmony maybe isn't the greatest.
