App barely able to communicate with the stations, gets in an inconsistent state regularly. (Tested multiple places) Repeatedly forgets your login credentials. Stations aren't clearly labeled with the same number in the app. The equipment is solid but the payment system is a wreck. Remove features until you can reliably do the basics, please.

Sucks I can't give this app 0 stars. A couple weeks ago, I experienced an issue where the app thought I was in a current charging session. I log out/in, uninstalled/installed, and tried using the tap pay. Nothing worked- I had to call support every time i needed to charge my car for them to start a remote session. It took about 2 weeks for the issue to be resolved. A couple weeks later, same issue occurs right now. I've been with support for about 30 min just to try and get a charge going...

EA home station stopped recording charge history on July 7. The charger still charges my car, but no information shown for any home sessions since then. I have tried resetting to factory default, turn off power and reset everything multiple times and no success, reset wifi etc, everything possible thru the app, which is in need of updates, I normally don't use EA fast charger, but when doing so, it's frustrating. Never close to what the car or charger is shown as it's rating. Never.

For the app side of things : create a back button in the app. When I click on a location to see what stations are available, and I click back it kicks me out the app. Also the search function on the app is lacking. When I want to search for a street a station is located it comes back with no results. Now for the charging stations themselves. I live in the bay area, and the stations are highly unreliable.

Lots and lots of issues with this app, where do I even start. Opening the app pauses audio playing from the phone even though the app has no sound. 90% of the time the charging fails the first time and then the app is stuck on "Initiating charge" for a few minutes making it impossible to restart a charge. Notifications don't work most of the time, charge history is almost always innacurate, it offers the option to use nfc but gives no method to do that. App needs a lot of help.

Absolute garbage. The product, the customer service, the reliability. This company is the reason I cancelled my VW ID.4 reservation after waiting 18 months for it. Maybe it's better in other areas but all of the stations here (Vegas) are never 100% operational, always waiting in long lines, and constantly error when connecting. I haven't used their chargers in months and have been relying on slow, at-home charging. Waste of 2 free years of fast charging. 4+ stars?? All these reviews are 1 or 2!?

can pick a location on screen but no ability to see or select charger, start a session, monitor a session, or end a session. the only thing app good for is locating stations and seeing if any are available. Electrify America doesn't even have a web interface that can be used as an alternative. Whoever is in charge of product development should be fired immediately.

You cannot use your phone to start a charge session reliability. Less than 30 percent of the stations work with this due to placement of the credit card scanner. Connected services work very inconsistently. If it is a busy weekend, then the entire network has serious problems. Network and app have improved over time, and my review has improved from it's original one star rating.

For the most part, the charging stations are working. It's a lot better than several months ago when at two stations were always inoperable. Sometimes the lighting late at night is bad. Otherwise, good to go. The cost to charge at certain times appears to have increased...especially for non-membership. Hopefully, this doesn't become expensive like some of the other vendors who are popping up with high per minute charges.

STOP IDLE FEES WHEN STATION FAILS!!!. , good app but activating a charger needs to be more reliable/smoother, Stations are to often broken or won't activate. A lot of wasted time parking and plugging in my car to find out the station is broken. No surprise car makers are switching to Tesla port. And App should NOT include the level 2 plug to indicate stations are "available". Separate dot on the map maybe. and PLEASE get rid of the two plugs per station nonsense!!!. Good customer service as well

App gets stuck on initializing charge. Then times out. Then charge errors. Finally get it charging, and it stops 10 minutes later with a charge error. Then you try to call support, and nobody answers. Call several times, get the whole "all operators are busy, your call will be answered in the order received", and nobody ever answers. This company doesn't respect your time, their app is awful, and I hate that they're one of the only level 3 chargers in town. I got a plan, I'll be canceling it.

Use another vendor, if possible. Does not work. Sometimes app, sometimes chargers, but they seem to have a pattern of indifference when getting reports. Within the last 2 weeks I have noted a significant decrease in the app stability when initiating a charge. Within the last 2 months, I've noticed a disregard for maintenance in their units with one being down and the other two chargers work down and intermittently having issues. Lines are regular at the 2 closest stations to me.

Since 2/23/24, the app crashes and will not open. Yes, I have uninstalled, & reinstalled the app three times. Why can't EA be reliable. If the charging stations work, then their app crashes constantly. If the app works, then the charging stations don't work. Someone who cares about electrifying the US car industry needs to buy EA and run it right.

you can only create an account using the app. if you have a typo in the email address and since it doesn't do double entry to check for mistakes it results in an account creation error that can only be resolved by calling customer service. good luck with that. account is only accessible through the app. so there is not a simple way to print out or record charging history.

A few things to fix with the app: Don't zoom out the map every time you choose a station. I am trying to find a station with a charger open. I don't want to have to zoom back into the area I'm driving in. Use a green/yellow/red system for available stations. Green = 2 or more stalls open for last 30 minutes. Yellow = 1 stall open. Red = no stalls open. This system would make it easier to navigate. And tell the bosses...more chargers! Tesla has stations with 20+ stalls. EE? 4, maybe 6. Sad

Something breaks literally every time I try to charge here. I have a Mach-E, and Ford negotiated Plug & Charge, but it doesn't use my membership I paid for, and often doesn't recognize my payment method, so I can't use it. I try to pay through the app, and it shows my station as in use. I force stop and reload the app, and now I can swipe to start, but I get an auto payment error and it won't charge. I give up and tap my phone using the app, and instead it charges my wallet app at full price

Mix experience, but mostly good mainly because the station we use regularly looks perfectly everyone, never had any issues. In our recent road trip we faced issues like member tap was not working, the app kept on showing me still charging with grace period over for several hours and during that time the app was completely unusable.

Update: And it got worse!! Entire service is half-baked, honestly. Not enough stations, and typically a long wait for a spot. Chargers are often marked unavailable, or available but flat don't work. Chargers don't deliver their full rated charging capacity, sometimes only 30%-40%. Support is only partially helpful some of the time, with often long holds for voice. App is randomly down (though uptime is apparently better than competitors), has some bad UX design, and shows wrong info sometimes.

When the app works, it's great. But... It works half of the time at most. I've taken three road trips in the past year & subscribe to get the discounted rate but the app gives me a payment processing error whether I tap ir swipe forcing me to either call customer service & be on indefinite hold or use a credit card & pay the full rate. On my last trip from Texas to California and back I overpaid mote than $200. Either your software is problematic on a Samsung ZFold 4 or it just sucks.

The app helps me find Electrify America charging stations as I travel so that I can take advantage of the "free" (wrapped into the price of my EV) charging at Electrify America chargers. It is easy to contact them when a charger isn't working properly or when I couldn't figure out how to get started. The map feature makes it easy to see how the network of charging stations is expanding in my area. The app's directions for starting charging are wrong: I have to swipe BEFORE connecting, not after.
