App is worse then the website. No anonymous account feature. Missing features. Currently there is a bug where you can be talking to some one but the server will try connecting you to new users, making it impossible to continue the old conversation.

I've been using the Emerald Chat app and while it has some cool features and interesting ideas, the long wait times for chats are a major downside. The app's potential is clear, but it's hard to fully evaluate its functionality since I rarely get connected to a chat. If the wait times improve, this app could be a great platform for meeting new people.

Great app that is literally killed by one bug, you will constantly get skipped randomly even when neither of you initiated it and sometimes even mid conversation this can really suck when you didn't have time to add the person so now they're gone forever. If they fix this it's a 5 star app but right now I do not recommend

Currently, there's a major bug in the app. When in an active, randomly matched conversation, it'll keep popping up with potential chat matches and when that happens, all messages stop working in the active conversation. It renders the app unusable. Fix it and I'll change my rating to 5 stars.

I just want to start with the fact I LOVE the site and I never had any issues with it but the app SUCKS it always breaks a person will randomly skip me with no indication and when I go to the next person I am talking to both people but only one of them can read my messages the only fix is to leave both people and start all over again but sometimes I have to do that more times then I can actually chat which is just absurd! I am considering using a alternative app on mobile and go browser only.

My experience with Emerald Chat has been extremely disappointing. They banned my account without giving any clear reason or warning. I followed all the rules, yet I was suddenly blocked without explanation. What's worse is that they also blocked my card from being used to purchase a new membership -which feels incredibly unfair and suspicious. I tried reaching out to their support multiple times via email, but I never received a reply. It's frustrating to be completely ignored,

I recently purchased a gold account on emerald chat using my phone. Unfortunately the subscription is not working properly on my phone, and I am also unable to use the Gold features when accessing the site on my laptop. I have tried logging in on both devices multiple times but the subscription benefits do not activate. I would appreciate if the support team could assist me in resolving the issue as soon as possible

Guys, please do not subscribe to this platform, worst platform worst customer care service, please visit some other platform in this category. I have mailed the customer care to cancel my subscription, they have not cancelled and now my money is deducted from my bank account. If you subscribe to this platform, then you are wasting your money and time.

Incredibly broken. Such a shame because the idea is really good. But it keeps eating your messages but not sending them. It's like trying to talk to someone under the Niagara falls.

Wrote multiple times to support at emrald chat. Got suggestions but none of them works. Neither the browser not the android app is suitable for Gender plus Country filters. None of these filters works. Gold and premium subscriptions are Scam now !

I'm pretty much ready to abandon this app and website entirely and for multiple reasons. "Does this app contain inappropriate ads?" My answer: Yes. Because there ARE major issues with a number of users, those just get ignored.

the app charges you $10 for gold, but the desktop site says it's $5.89. I bought the gold, and none of the filters work. I went to the desktop site, and they wanted me to buy the gold again.

It really should not surprise you that the app version of a website functions objectively worse. Unresponsive to your inputs, takes 3+ taps to actually do anything. Pointless, blatantly sexist karma system. Accept/closing chats is an inconvenience now, what was wrong with the omegle-style system on the website? Like others say, your chat WILL stop sending or receiving msgs eventually. And to top it all off you get a group chat page with some of the worst personalities on the whole Internet.

HEAR ME OUT. Ok the app is pretty trash and thats an important fact considering this is the app play store. THE MOBILE WEBSITE IS REALLY GOOD. fine dont use the app, whatever. You actually really dont need the app. the mobile site works way better and it's actually decently priced on there. like 6$ a month for gender filters which is the cheapest i have seen yet

Right now, there are some issues with this app, specifically: you cannot type other social media apps; you have to re-type your message or messages until it was able to send it further to the receipient; and some of the new messages from some people cannot be seen (it says there's an error in the room) & the previous messages cannot be backread after how many minutes of chatting with the person. Basically, there's a glitch in your system which hasn't been addressed for how many days already.

I caught my son using this. This app is poorly moderated. it's full of underage children talking from classrooms and many old men showing up undressed and trying to lure kids

The app appears pretty slick and polished at first, but in my experience it is riddled with bugs to the point of being practically unusable * Sometimes messages do not actually send * The gender filters do not work * Sometimes I'll end up in a chat with two other users * On the app, the Gold subscription is listed as $15.99 per month, but on the website its said to be $5.89 * I paid for the Gold subscription, but it only works on the app. The website is not aware that I've subscribed

the video chatting is more often than not just guys jacking off which is unfortunate the text meet often makes it so you can't send messages it won't go thru and disconnects abruptly out of no where and you can't even report or send a friend request after a nice conversation with someone you wanna keep in contact with after the chat disconnects, you do meet some interesting unique people though which is nice and I like the greenness of it all aswell as the format of the app, ok brochacho, out
