More About Endless Reader

As a follow-up to Endless Alphabet, set the stage for early reading success with Endless Reader! This app introduces "sight words", the most commonly used words in school, library, and children's books. Kids need to recognize these words by sight in order to achieve reading fluency. Recognizing sight words is advantageous for beginning readers because many of these words have unusual spelling, cannot be sounded out using phonics knowledge, and often cannot be represented using pictures.
Kids will have a blast learning sight words and their context and usage with the adorable Endless monsters. Each word features an interactive word puzzle with letters that come alive, and then a sentence puzzle with words that become what they describe. See the word "dog" as a barking dog, and the word "up" reach for the sky!

** NOTE: You must be online and have sufficient disk space while running the app to get all words you purchase in the app. **

Features:
- 6 words free to try with additional word packs available for purchase.
- Delightful animations reinforce sight recognition of words in a fun and interactive way.
- Word puzzles reinforce spelling using lower-case letters and the sentence puzzles teach definition and usage (in addition to sight recognition).
- Endless Reader was designed with your children in mind. There are no high scores, failures, limits or stress. Your children can interact with the app at their own pace.

my three year old immediately loved this. after a day or two i had to download the whole thing! i had some issues when i tried to buy the levels separately...they never did download...so i went ahead and got the full package which showed up right away. my little boy is already putting together sounds and words.

I don't have enough positive words to express my appreciation for this app and creators. I have a 1.5yo and an 8yo and both of them absolutely love this app! And it's so simplistic that my little one can navigate it on his own. What's even better is that it doesn't have annoying music or phrases that get stuck in your head so I happily play along with them! I even had a small issue but customer service fixed it same day! I will definitely purchase all of their apps. Sooooooo worth it!

My kid loves it and has gone through all the words, but I wish there was something more. In particular, I think it would have been cool to have some kind of "advanced" mode - perhaps removing the voiceover at the start, and letting the kids try and identify the word themselves before then hearing it after assembling the letters?

We started using the Endless Alphabet with our son when he was 2yr old ,he is now4. He has all the learning apps by Originator and is way beyond his classmates with vocabulary and eagerness to learn. We turn our Wi-Fi and cell phone to airplane more and let him play while shopping or eating at restaurants. He loves playing them and he is learning in the process. We especially love the numbers. I wish they would come out with a math game. He is so ready to do addition and subtraction at 4 yrs old

I have used originator apps for years. Having 24 grandkids. This is a great app for recognizing letters, sounds of letters and learning words. I start them at 2 years old. By 3 yrs old they are whizzing through words♡ The only thing that I would change with the app not allowing letters to be put in wrong order. Teaching children to spell English words from left to right. I find that so hard to teach them when the app lets them put the letters in where whenever they want

takes long time after purchase to be able to use on diff device. very creative app. it rewards kids by turning sentence into short story scenr with every success. it makes reading to him very interactive. my son repeats the game a lot to watch the animations. this app is dangerous on mobile data. i installed it on wifi and went out to the store. when i opened it in store it downloaded almost 1 gig data, or $10 worth on my plan. it does not preload the animations until after open!!

I did the in app purchase and paid almost $45 for all the reader packs, and after moving to a new device the app wants me to buy them again.

I'm sure this app is very helpful for many kids out there! Though, actually, I came across this app after like 10 years! (I'm 18 now.) I have never been so happy to find this app again! I used to always be on it on the school ipad back in 3rd grade and everything caught my eye. (I'm solely installing this app just for nostalgic purposes.)

it's great for learning sight words, but the fact that I have to redownload and buy on every device isnt the best, I get why, but I wish they could do up to 2 devices at least when you get all the levels. Even if I have it already on a device and it hasn't been used it in a while, thewhen they do back on it and redownload it, I have to purchase all the levels again.

My two years old loves this app! The phonic component is great and I love how there is a sample sentence for every word that includes the other sight words. A suggestion would be to make a way for the child to record their progress, say when they ended the app at letter 'k', it restarts with 'k' or 'l'. This way younger child don't have to struggle trying to find the words they want to work on again. Also, a tracker of progress would be useful for parents.

Absolutely love this app! It's totally worth the money because it helped teach my first child how to read. It's entertaining and it doesn't feel like instruction. It doesn't require an adult and it's just a win-win.

This app is amazing! It practically taught my middle child to read and now my youngest is starting to read and lives it too. HOWEVER, why is this app not part of the Google family library!?!? If I pay $25+ dollars to unlock all the packs, I should be able to let all my kids use it on their devices.

So it's a great game. The only downside is that when a letter should be silent in the word as it's being spelled by touching the letter, the the letter should not make a sound...it doesn't make sense for the last letter "e" in "please" to say the short sound for "e" if it's silent...I still use the app...but that's important to look over

This is one of the best apps ever, I've used it for years now. My only problem is recently every time my kid plays it on my Google pixel 6, the screen zooms in and it only fixes itself after I restart my phone, but then it does it all over again as soon as I open it and my child starts using it again. Again, this app is amazing! But Idk what's going on :D lol

Love it!!! My 2 year old is OBSESSED with this game! My only complaints are: 1. There aren't more words available 2. The example sentences are the same each time for every word We got the full package for level 1 & we're about to get level 2 but we would still like more words, even at the cost of another package. And could there be an update to mix up the example sentences somehow? GREAT game tho!!! Update: Customer service is above & beyond!!!! Thank you so much!!!

I truly cannot say enough good things about this app. Our son was born with apraxia of speech (a motor speech disorder, where the mouth/tongue muscles are weak and receive no signal from the brain). Kids with apraxia of speech often have reading difficulties later on, so we included this app not only as part of his speech therapy to learn how to make individual sounds, but to also learn to recognize the letters of those sounds. It was used as a 'reward' during his speech therapy sessions and he couldn't get enough of it! The characters are soooo cute and funny :) As adults we actually had fun doing it with him day in and day out!! We ended up buying the full extended pack and it was worth every single penny - to us it was a small investment for something so important. He is now in Kindergarten and not only has almost totally overcome his apraxia, but his teacher said he's WAY ahead of his peers with reading and language. I can't thank the creators enough for the difference it made to our son - the love that went into making this app is obvious! Thank you so much!

I really like the app, but buyer beware! If you pay money, it does NOT carry over to other devices like most games bought on the Google store. If I pay $30 for my child to pay on her tablet, she should also be able to pay on my phone. Could be easily solved with having an account in the game and saving what you have unlocked. If it doesn't carry over, than the prices should be much cheaper! Would be a 5 star game if the purchases were saved. I won't spend any more money on it until fixed.
