Yeah it's good. As of writing this I've used at least 10 different pomodoro timers (many of which I went all in and got the premium version) and this is the one that worked for me. It's clean and well designed. I can't say specifically why I like it, but I can say the other apps I tried we're annoying to use, and this one isn't, so it comes down to design, and I am not versed im enough to be specific about it.

There are some serious issues with this app. The work session stops randomly in between. It shows that the session has been completed even though it is still running. Secondly the notifications does not seem to work properly. I'm not notified when a session is completed sometimes. The notification sound does not beep. I had contacted the customer care and their solutions does not seem to work. Highly disappointed with the premium version. I will move to another app now..

Easily my new favorite app to track my distractions, and it was an easy choice to upgrade. I've only been using it for one day, but I LOVE the analytics feature that shows me when I'm most distracted to better optimize my work sessions and work with my brain instead of against it. (And as someone with ADHD, it's so important to find these patterns!) I also love how easy it is to see how much progress I've made on tasks! I've already been recommending it to anyone who will listen.

So good first: If you're looking for an easy-to-use app that'll give you all the Pomodoro perks but with also a stopwatch for tasks you don't know the duration of, this is it. And I love the "distracted" feature, simple AND useful! Thank you for the reply, team. Yes, once you fix the multiple devices cloud sync, I'd happily score it a 5 star. It's become an essential part of my life!

I really like this for my ADHD. It's well worth the flat price to get all the features, and while it's not 100% polished, it has a lot of features other things don't. My main suggestion/request would be that if you have a daily repeat but you didn't get it done, having an option for dismissing it that doesn't mark it as complete. Also, an option for moving one instance in a repeating series.

The improvement I want to make this a 5 star is more encouraging text or break suggestions. This is great because the division of work and breaks helps manage my stress and prevent getting sucked into distractions. Five minute breaks are too short to really get invested in most distractions. Also, I can see when I got distracted the most; if I remember what thoughts or circumstances distracted me, I can learn to overcome them next time. I'm slowly learning how to plan my day accordingly.

Best performance app I have used. I own the premium version, but the tracking, background, and simple layout has made it worth it for the hundreds of hours I have used it. I love the custom labels. **Note to the developers: Could you allow for the labels to be rearranged, or even a sort for recent/most used? Sometimes I want create a new label but hate having to scroll through my personalized ones to find the relevant label. Deleting old to create new leaves them tracked as unlabeled in history.

I love this app. Programmable pomodoro yanks you back from a user/task specific prespecified break (switches back to engross). Tracks time spent on projects. Allows you to compare on a daily/weekly/monthly basis the proportion and quantity of time going towards each project. You can export your data if you want to analyze it further. Additionally, it has a neat feature where you can track how focused you are. This app just has a nice suite of many productivity/task completion features.

Seems like a winner - Used just a bit but my key features are there & Im picky on to do apps. MAJOR + for me: simple drag/drop to rearrange tasks on the fly thru the day. You can sched tasks & filter the view with tags but its essentialy a running to do list. I can ses ALL tasks at once if I want, no complicated menus or folders. Still need to try the Pomodoro feature I'm sure it will be great. App is very functional even w/out premium but will likely upgrade which Ive never done before!

This application is the most comprehensive pomodoro timer that I have found. The application is intuitive, you can use it in many different ways to plan your day and Carry out tasks and stay motivated. I have found it to be invaluable. The only thing that's missing is a web version that you could then use when you are working on the computer. Thanks very much!

I paid for the premium version but utterly disappointed. I'd want to set my own work sessions. But whatever I set, the app only allowed my session to start from the last one. When I tried to check the length of my first session, it had already turned into the length of the last one! So I'm going to cut my loss and move on. Bye bye, Engross!

Promising and thoughtfully-designed, but doesn't sync properly with calendar. It's only showing 2-3 of my several Google calendars (this is true for 2 different devices!), yet multiple other calendar apps on the same device can sync just fine and I can select which calendars I wish. Please fix sync and add option (as in other apps with calendar sync) to select exactly which calendars should be synced.

Very good. Would be 5 stars if 1) I could select at what time during the task I want to take breaks, 2) I could turn the screen off without the phone locking on this specific app so as to save battery but easily mark a distraction and 3) I could have multiple goals so that for example I work for 8 hours and exercise for 1 hour a day

My main criticism is that the To-Do lists cannot integrate with either local tasks/to-do items (e.g., Samsung Reminder) or cloud services (e.g., Google Tasks or Microsoft To Do). I would be happy with any integration regardless of which service. It is not possible to view Engross To Do on a laptop or desktop device. If these criticisms are not a problem for you then it is a good app.

I just got the paid app and I wanted to send you a note. When I clicked "Send Suggestions/Feedback" the app asked which app I'd like to use for email. I clicked my email app and it opened but did not populate your email address into the "Send" and there is no email address in the "About" tab. Can you post your contact info in the app? Thanks

This app is amazing. I've tried a lot of different focus apps, trying to find what's right for me and this won. There are so many features that this app has & most of it is free except for some color themes & a couple more advanced options. There's a to-do list that is really helpful & you can even put your tasks in order of priority. There aren't any ads & it's a simple yet effective design. You can set the timer to pomodoro or stopwatch which was really helpful for me. I highly recommend!

I like that you can choose how long to work and how long to break. 25, 5 is too restrictive for me. I also like how it pauses and waits for you to start the next phase. 10/27/21. Wow, I can't believe I've been using Engross for well over two years now. It's still just as good as ever. I learned how to fine tune the time spent concentrating. The 5 minute increment choices can be adjusted with the revise before or after, and the 5 minute break can be adjusted also. I highly recommend this app.

I just bought it to see if by buying it I would be able to set more goals , so maybe by setting more goals I would also get more timers set (and keep them ready) according to the different labels and the different needs of distribution of time, and set different motivational messages according to different goals. --Would you think is possible that you add those features?.... would be great!! thank you for consider.

I Like the app. But there is one thing that bothers me since the last couple updates. I use a Pixel phone and when the timer is running, it makes the screen flicker. The screen is trying to settle but the app wakes it up again. I tried with always on display option ON and OFF. The flickering is distracting. I can turn my phone over but I do like to keep the phone face up; plus doing so turns off notifications. I do also miss the Pause feature. A fix would be appreciated.

The pro version is only $1.99 so a person can't complain. It does seem like all the features of person would actually use are in that pro version. It would be nice to have a free trial. I really liked being able to divide each task into self labeled parts. However, the slider underneath the task is not easy to advance. I kept trying to mark off a section completed and it kept checking the task as done. The statistics page on how often I was distracted could be a great tool.
