I have setup Ente Auth as a replacement of Aegis Authenticator. E2EE syncing between my devices is much easier and almost as secure & private. I recommend it!

Since Authy dropped windows support I've been meaning to jump ship, Ente Auth is perfect and sync's beautifully with my android phone. Highly recommended.

Exceptional. You know how you wonder if an app is going to live up to the hype and bring it? Well this one does it. I got rid of a competitor app after seeing that this one delivers. This is a must have and it's highly recommended.

Edit #2: there is no crash reporting by default, that's great, but missed my point entirely. We don't KNOW 100% sure that Ente Auth isn't sending data unless crash reporting is on. We are just going based on what you guys claim. I WANT to believe you guys, but how can I believe you guys just blindly? I'm not tech savvy enough to be able to audit the app.

I just started using the app. I love the compact mode, large icons, and the share code feature. It would be even better if I could share the code for a longer time than 10 minutes. I usually don't write reviews sooner, but this app actually gave me a very good first impression.

I don't know why I had not heard of it. It's the best authenticator app in my experience. It's easy to use, offers customisation, end to end encryption, cloud sync, and lastly a feature which shows upcoming code too. Amazing!!

highly recommended app . its litreally the best authenticator app right now . set a hard password and write it down somewhere in a paper and you are totally safe . note the recovery phrase for extra secuirity . (free suggestion -use proton pass for password manager )

Very good At last a good 2FA app that can be installed on my phone AND my PC and keeps the both in sync. Also great that it can both import/export, so effectively future proof.

Love the clean minimal Android & Web versions perfect for 2FA. Looking for multi-OS 2FA so wanted to try but didn’t install the Windows app since Defender flagged it as unknown publisher which made me a bit hesitant. Totally understand the security checks but it’d be great if the app were properly signed to boost trust. So new users like me will feel more confident installing it. Feels a bit slow on the web version. This would be an easy 5-star. Still highly recommend the Mobile-Web versions. 😊

Very good app that helped me finally transition completely away from hack prone Authy in 2024. Ente Auth ticks all the boxes and more including being open source and free. And best of all? You can export your tokens and move to another solution should you want to and you get cross platform support as the icing on cake. The only bug I've seen in the past is the search box (with the desktop app) didn't work with security switched on. Had to disable security to enable the the function. Thanks guys

Excelent app! I migrated from another one and it's incredible! I would like to have the option to verify my identity either by the Passkey, Email or my unique code, not the two of them at the same time. Yesterday I wasn't able to login as I added a Passkey and I didn't have the device with me.

From the talented, and privacy respecting team behind Ente Photos, this is an Incredible Authenticator App!!! Really easy to use, in fact the easiest and most straightforward Authy App I used. Can use on every device (including web access!). Never lose my secrets, plus I can view the secrets and export them if I want!!! Why hasn't every TOTP app been designed like this? Thank you Ente! This is just incredible, I highly recommend this as anyone's primary (or even a backup) TOTP app!!!

Keep up the great work, team! This is by far the most effortless 2FA Auth app on the market. I would say, stick to what you do best, don't get way too ambitious and implement too many features. Continue to be rock solid and you'll go far. I really can't believe you blew the others, including Microsoft and Google out of the water. 💪🏻🔐 Great app so far.

A great way to manage your two-factor authentication. However, I have a bug to report. When I try to export my two-factor authentication keys in an encrypted fashion, it seems like the app continually spins once I've created a unique password for that encrypted file. When I hit cancel it allows me to download an unencrypted file. But I've yet to be able to download an encrypted file with a password.

Best app! There was a glitch where the QR code scanner was not working right but I think that has been fixed. Now they just keep adding new features and it gets better and better. Best yet the developers have kept it open source and allow you to export your data under like certain AUTHorization app competitors. Overall I love this app for all these annoying but necessary 2-factor codes.

Ente auth is great. I'm very happy with it. I dislike Authy because of it's walled garden, being locked in, with no way to transfer or recover codes bothered me, Similar situation with google-authenticator. For a long time i used Aegis on my mobile, but the lack of cloud sync was a minor issue. Ente just plain checks all the boxes for me. Open-source, Cloud-sync, Clean interface, Mobile & desktop clients, Ethical Company. Their photo backup solution (ente photos) is great too.

Very good, especially the fact that they let you self host. Only thing that could be improved is an online status indicator. Currently non of the Ente Auth mobile apps show you if you're talking to the server and are up to date / synced or if you're working offline.
