Epic has historically been one of the few if not the only browser to offer both security and comprehensive privacy out-of-the-box. Many other so-called privacy browsers often don't have an encrypted proxy built-in or use the TOR network which should be considered insecure as many nodes are run by hackers and other malicious agents. Finally wait is over. I'm waiting for the android version of your browser. I have been using epic desktop browser for more than 1 year. And since then it has been my default web browser in laptop and was waiting for the android version of the browser. Just few things are missing add more extensions for desktop as well as android browser. Thank You.

The app is quite good... But considering the features provided by Uc.. Its needs lot of improvement in terms of features to make users stick on to this. Like For online media consumption there is no auto rotation for video.. And volume sliders.. Basically no controls for media consumption... And second there is no Dark mode Natively.. Atleast these basics features can be added.

I guess all good things go bad eventually. I loved Epic since the day it was launched on Windows many years ago, because of the awesome proxy alone. Since then I've been using it as my primary browser on all my new and old devices. But now the proxy is almost unusable: it hardly connects anymore, and when it does there are endless loops of captchas. I would still go back to using Epic the moment they fix it, and will revert my rating to 5 stars. Thank you.

This is such a great browser, both on Android and PC. The VPN works great and actually changes your IP address, unlike some of those fake "China VPN" apps, and it is also 100% free! Very private and blocks ads. My only concern is if this actually works in China. I hear people saying it works in China, but because I haven't been to China yet, so I honestly don't know if it works or not. Just gotta wait and see! Great job, guys!

4 stars because it is a good start. Not that I can make a better one. The chromium base is good. The UI can improve a lot and it has to. Not comparable to many of the other browsers yet, but you guys can certainly improve on this. I mean after using chrome, chromium, firefox, Opera, UC browser and a whole lot of other browsers, I can't say this will be a replacement for the banned UC browser yet, even Opera doesn't have much features like UC did. You guys need to work on this more. Best of luck.

This browser is no longer listed on my device: (Galaxy A53 5G) phone's List of Apps or Default Browser Apps since Android 14 was installed. It is, and always has been, my only Default Browser on all of my devices! When I need to open a link, I am presented with any other browser than this, a Google play approved browser!! I hate everything about Android 14!!!! All apps that are supposed to Alarm, no longer do, or barely do for a second or two. Way to go Google, you Suck as usual! Fix all!!

Android version is pretty good. I'm using the browser as a FireFox replacement and I'm not going back, unless Epic does something epically silly and stops being a privacy browser. Mind you, I don't have any special use cases, I just hate certain disturbing and extremely annoying ads that became the norm these past few years. I only wish the desktop version worked just as well...

Very good attempt to bring this awesome browser to android platform. All is good except one major shortcoming compared with browser for Windows platform. I couldn't find option to change location country for VPN on this android version. This feature is important to me, sometimes need to stream media content which locked to one country. Because of this, to me it's major flaw.

I like epic a lot, it's truly one of the best private browser out there. I use it regularly as my desktop and mobile browser. The only thing that bugs me and keep me from giving it a 5 stars rating is the lack of a dark mode for the mobile browser. There nothing in the browser settings to turn it on and even the native dark mode of android doesn't work on this browser unlike some others apps. Night mode on a mobile browser is a very useful feature. Please consider adding it soon. Thanks

Good browser, secure and reliable. However several improvements are required to make it excellent: *Block Ads and Tracking, when tapped on, provides no visual cue as to if it's on or off *On start page, the Add site functionality should include 2 fields, one for the user-defined name of the site and the other for the URL *Added sites' icons should be movable (long press and move) *Dark mode *Exit button in Menu, configurable to clear all history/data and close the app *Import/export bookmarks.

It's an amazing browser.. it does what it claims. But still I am unable to give 5/5 because when I am downloading if I pause the download and try to resume later, I'm unable to resume it. It holds at a point where I paused and says connecting network. Again I have to close that download and want to re download the stuff. Could you please fix this issue? Except this issue, this is an amazing browser so far.

Awesome app. It's been my go-to browser on the Windows platform, seamless web surfing, excellent privacy support. However, the video download feature always gives a "no video on this page" report when trying to download a video. I suggest that a download button for videos be made on the page rather than going to the options to access the video download feature. Great app, definitely will be spreading the word. Kudos

At last! I was waiting for this, I finally have a browser that i actually trust. This browser has the best browsing experience out there, nice looking, fast and finally true privacy. I can finally delete all the other browsers which I downloaded in the attempt to have a privacy browser. Amazing work guys, you show how it's done the right way. I am so happy with my new browser :)

Besides this Android version, I have also used the desk top version for years. It's as good or better than any of the best browsers available. Besides the free VPN that comes with it, one can now also set the time to the chosen VPN destination. And there is an encrypted vault into which users can automatically have downloads inserted. We can even choose in settings for all sites visited to display in dark mode. That saves me from eye strain. I say thank you to the developers.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Best browser out there, when you balance functionality and privacy. Have used the desktop version for years. Because the mobile version is new, some things need ironing out. E.g. need to be able to set a custom download location. Also, if you save something from a webpage, a new large tab appears at the bottom of the page asking if we want to encrypt the download. We have to manually close that tab, which is annoying. Perhaps integrate this option in the download pop-up box?

Epic browser is not functional for me. Would not load any web pages, the app just stayed on a white page. Additionally just trying to figure out what was wrong going into setting and switch between apps would cause the Epic to become unresponsive. Downloaded again still has issue, but noticed when I went back to Google play there was an update, works now. So FYI to everyone check for updates after downloading. I don't know why it didn't just download the most current version on first install.

Best browser I've used so far. Im keeping this one. Sleek interface, nice tools and functions, and decent search results. As far as I can tell, they actually care about your privacy, unlike other lying "private" browsers. UPDATE: Was working great, until a couple of days ago. Will not load any search results. I'm hoping it can be fixed because I really liked it. Reinstalled and still wouldn't work. UPDATE: Glad it's working again: I was using Google. Ew.

The browser is highly security and useful, but it need some fix. First I didn't close the tab the site that I visited, so that I could come back but when I came to the app it's slow to run or mostly slow to connect, so I have to go to a "New Tab" and somehow the site that I visited got through. And second, the browser suddenly closed itself when I try to download an image on google, it somehow stopped working. I most likely to rate it 2.5 or 3...because it really need some fix.

Awesome browser and runs very well. I'm happy about the clear tabs and data option so I don't have to go into my setting to clear my cache as often. The youtube in the background feature is very nice to have once you figure it out, but I still haven't figured out the 'Audio Queue' feature and can't find any info on it. The reason why I put 4 stars is because it can definitely still be improved, I think a 'help' option to describe all features in the browser might make me bump it to 5 stars.

On the plus side, it's a smaller download than Edge, Brave, Vivaldi, etc. so it should be lighter on system resources. Helpful features like auto fill. On the negative, the selection of search engines is limited, only Yahoo and Epic's proprietary search. Worse, ad block turns itself off for no apparent reason and doesn't work well even when it's turned on. The latest update, installed 12/12/22, is worse than ever and I'm ready to give up.
