It's really a great and useful app except I can't find the example sentences. The video introducing this app had the bar "examples" on top, but somehow mine doesn't. Is it perhaps in premium?

excellent definitions, pronunciations in verbal spoken words. Anyone can use this app to learn definitions, etc. i like that i can listen to the meaning put into an example sentence and can read along. Strongly recommended to all. thanks!🤔🙂

Although major dictionaries are still better (e.g. Merriam-Webster), Erudite is one of the best dictionaries out there considering it's totally free. Also, you can use its audio pronunciation offline. Two thumbs up Erudite!

A very good dictionary. The grammar section along side words is very useful. It also gives synonyms and antonyms of the respective word which makes this app very unique and useful for the students and the professionals.

This doesn't seem to work anymore? Search buttons are unresponsive and word definitions don't display anything. I've seen others report this issue too. This is on Android 13. I see the same issue on phone and tablet. Will this be fixed? Or do I cancel my subscription?

1.App crashes when I click on a word searched from quick search window. 2. There should be a login feature, which should keep my bookmarks saved online, to escort losing them in case of accidental app uninstall. 3.Rest all is top-notch 😊

I love this app. It gives clear meaning of a word, its antonyms and synonyms. It also gives transcriptions of words either in british english or american english. Just that the online translator doesn't translate any word, it's just there for nothing. It will really be good if the developer of this app can work on this.

This is the best Dictionary app in the PlayStore. However there's no option to automatically sync my Bookmarks online across multiple devices. Also, the Lifetime purchase price is too high as per my currency denomination. Please reduce the price so that I can purchase it for Lifetime access

On quick rundown I've found it unreliable cuz most of the time it's showing translation instead of meaning (even tho calling for meaning of English words) when called from system's pop-up menu Also from there when you've learned the meaning, pressing back takes you to Erudite's main activity instead of taking back to the app it's called from App looks nice but lacks dark theme I wish the meanings would show in a pop-up instead of full window Not sure how accurate translations for other langs are

It can pronounce any unique or funny spells well and more,. Also it has no hidden fees. 👍

Easy to use and helpful understandable instructions...but haven't used some of the other sections, due to not understanding some of the instructions

Hey, the dictionary is tremendously helpful and easy to understand unlike some other sources. Further improvement can be made by adding a sign-in feature so that saved vocabulary is not lost incase a mobile reset is needed.

This is a very good dictionary app. I have paid for the Ads-Free version and am content with it. All the features are good and helpful. I never had any issues with this app. Keep on the good work. I gave this app 4 stars because there can be just 1 feature missing, which if added can make "Searching In Dictionary", so very easy and direct to use, also will be very beneficial: 1. Ablity to integrate the "Dictionary Search" with popular Launcher Apps, like Microsoft Launcher or Hyperion Launcher.

I love it!! Exactly what I am looking for! I used to use a dictionary app which name is Dictionary. Several months ago, the app changed it's UI, and the response became so slow and heavy. Can't believe it takes me several seconds for one tap. I was so upset and disappointed. I gave the feedback to the development team but nothing changed until I found Erudite dictionary today!! so amazing, so fast, so easy to use!! I like it however unreliable. Search buttons don't work when you tap on them, searching from browser goes to app fine but recognizes words off and on. Unreliable. Would be nice if this could be fixed soon being that I also subscribed to the app. Hope to get some feedback. Thx. Forgot. Also crashes constantly when opening from app drawer. I'm on android 11 btw. Also would be nice to have a dark mode to match the os.

Not at all impressed. I expected the dev to improve the app in terms of definitions in all these years but hasn't. Like "negotiable" has very generic meaning. And "unnegotiable" is non-existent. Google has more and useful meanings than this dedicated app. Uninstalling for now. Plus no dark theme. No backup. No word for the day. New words and terms and phrases and thesaurus are also missing. No improvement in these years. Very disappointed. 😞
