I installed this app because I am unable to vote by mobile phone. All it does is direct you to make a phone call! This left me unable to vote in Eurovision 2023. I took extra time to research how the app would work when voting opened, even googling "how to use eurovision app" but there were no guides or explicit answers. It's too late now, I did not find out until voting opened during the show, that app simply works by opening a phone call and pre-filling the number for you. Terrible.

OK, so this is just a bloated wrapper for a dialler and SMS sender. The developers have missed out on so many features, such as links to each video, our even just audio recordings of the artists, electronic votes, chat rooms for each country, etc. By now, though, the votes should be taken electronically and not by a phone call or SMS! On another note. This is a perfect example of modern bloated software... Just take a look at Used Libraries under Settings to see what I mean. Instagram?? O_o

Bullsh*t The App is slow and everything but accessible. The participants category is messy af, some participants like sweden are missing from the "Finals" Section, which has no order (alphabetical or chronological) at all. You have to individually search for every song, instead of the user being able to swipe left for the next song. You also only get the original lyrics and no translation at all. It's unbelievable how the quality of an ap can decrease over just a few years...

The lyrics for every song are in English. It would be better to have the original language lyrics along with the English translation. Edit: 2022-05-12 Alright, there are lyrics in the original language but I didn't mean remove the English translation. Why can't there be both? Also, voting was confusing. The app thinks I voted but I'm not sure anything went through as there were no charges coming from my phone provider. Need clearer instructions on this.

Apparently you can't win Eurovision if you're not gay or in war. What was everybody's mindset when they decided to eliminate Netherlands. It was the one decent song in the whole contest and the only one that had lyrics about uniting Europe. What the hell is happening with Eurovision?

Says I have reached the maximum number of votes through the app - even though I haven't voted yet this year. What's going on? I voted last year, then deleted the app after the ESC and only reinstalled it today. Could you please reset the number of votes, so they don't count votes from previous years?

"Send SMS" button on the voting page didn't work, and then the voting page - the one with the list and codes - disappeared altogether, replaced by a "click here to vote" button that opened a webpage in the browser whose only content was the header.

I thought it was quite good, until the actual contest happened and the whole app refused to function for the duration of the show. It was a bit pointless.

Its very hurtful too see the ranking picture to see my country ranked worst and its nothing personal but it just HURTS you know and its eurovision themselves putting it WHILE THE CROWD WAS LOVING OUR SONG it just hurts! Do something else to advertise it i feel like its not only me that gets mad! Also the cheering thing is kinda annoying to watch with because if someone cheers too much to a song u can barely hear the song watching and its gonna be very annoying this year thanks for readin!

For chitchat and gossip about event-related topics, 'Eurovision - rtv.es' offers more. For number crunching à la countries with most 1st/2nd/3rd places and other statistics, 'Eurovision 12 Points' offers more. In terms of personal scoreboards & rankings of ALL 36 songs and sharing them with the community of ESC fans or friends, 'ESC Party' offers more. This app should be sold for a one-time purchase price of €12 and then offer voting each year for life, and clean out all the promotional junk.

In the past it's been fine but it's very broken this year, app doesn't save my top acts or their order, doesn't update or show any info live with the competition, even trying to vote gave errors and continued to fail to load

The app seems redundant and kinda pointless. It sends you to the website when you want to vote, and the website in return makes you send an SMS to register a vote. The app is just a detour back to the old methods everyone is used to. Why even have the app?

Better app than previous years, but still not a great experience e.g. you can rank your favourite songs but it doesnt save them! Changing page or even the screen saver appearing results in the list being re-ordered, back to alphabetic order!! Very annoying.

Full of bugs. I can order the top 10 but it doesn't save them when I return to the list, if I want to share the top 10 list it is empty. I can't vote because it says I used all 20 votes already despite me never voting before. At least that should be working in the official esc app.

Cant wait on the app!!! Useless!!!!!!! So far ive found the app hard to navigate, it says i can vote by app i hope so as i have no phone signal. Also last year you could cheer on who you loved, i cant find that feature on this one. Changed to 1 star, it keeps resetting my top 10!!!!! 😡😡😡😡

All over Eurovision the show and all over the app, it says we can vote via the app. I click on the vote button on the app and it sends me to a website where I have to call a number on a phone! This is not voting via the app, it's voting by phone and should be described as such! Also, clicking on the 'How to Vote' button brings up a YouTube video link - fine! But it only shows you how the voting system works......... Poor!

Pretty much useless app. Last year (2023) at least you could vote through the app, now this year (2024) it just redirects you to their website. Why do you even show it as an option if you're just gonna redirect me anyway?! Also used it to look up the lyrics of some songs. Turns out you can't copy or select the text at all! And another thing. Wanted to play a song and look at lyrics. Turns out you can't do that either. If you scroll down to look at lyrics the video stops. Why?!
