This app has an awful user interface. I searches for events in my area, clicked on one and confirmed it was just up the street. Clicked on the next one down and it looked interesting/was almost sold out. So I bought a ticket. Turns out it was halfway across the country in a town of the same name. As a software developer myself this is a complete failure on the backend. They are not properly searching/filtering results, instead just going by the region name it seems.

I love finding events but the app itself is not very good. It frequently returns events that are not in the filtered date range. Also when you tap on an event and then go back to the search, It completes the search again, taking you all the way to the top of the list and you have to load the events again page by page. It makes it really cumbersome to browse the details of the events. The price of the event is not shown as part of the thumbnail.

Pretty handy overall. When filling out registration forms, if it doesn't like the info you've entered, it just says to fill out the highlighted sections but doesn't actually highlight anything, so you have to guess what it wants you to do. The timer for completing your ticket purchase resets if you open anything else on your phone or if your phone goes to a screensaver, which means you'll have to re-enter all your info when you leave for a minute to find your credit card. Otherwise it's fine.

Search results with infinite scrolling has really odd behavior. When you come to the end of the list, it kicks off a call to fetch more results so that you don't have to page through. However, after data is pulled you always end up on the top of the list. It doesn't keep track of where you were and always forces you to start over. Same is there case with selections. Select anything tho register and once you get back, it will make you start from top. Looks like search never went through UX tests.

LOVE Eventbrite, hate their app. The website is easier to use, and if you create a profile and follow events and organizers you're interested in, you'll get emails where you can click links to the website. The problem with the app is that every time you sort events, if you look at individual events it takes you right back to the top of the list and you have to keep scrolling down to find the best options. It's tedious and makes it hard to sort through events easily. They really should fix this.

With the newest "update" the app is lagging. The filter feature still doesnt work,it completely kicks you out of the app. The developer info. Listed here is incorrect,it's a bogus email. Can't contact anyone for help nor do they read reviews Went bad. This app used to be good. You can't filter anything. It asks to clear the cache and still crashes. Can't search for much, plus the filter feature doesn't work either.

I am forced to use this app as it is the most common place events are posted. Would be drastically improved with 2 minor quality of life fixes: 1. When I click through to look at event details, SAVE MY PLACE when I go back instead of starting at the top of the list. So fustrating to scroll through hundreds of events to pick up where I left off. 2. Let me filter out events/organizers I don't want to see, or put them at the bottom of the list. Tired of seeing the same event posted every day.

Interface is terrible. Customer service is horrible. It's glitchy, freezes up and I have to force it close. When I open an event and back out, it takes me all the way back to the top of the list! The hosts for events are rude AF when you email them! The very worst part is, it keeps showing me events in other states, nevermind I specifically gave it permission to use my location! This app & company are unreliable and awful human beings. Uninstalling ASAP.

Incredibly tedious if you're just looking for something to do. Cannot search by radius, or for the upcoming week or month (it shows you a calendar week/month including past events). Cannot search by keyword or venue. It has it's own categories but the differences between them are hazy and you can only select one at a time. Does not remember settings (Sort by, for ex.) But. if you put an exact date it's less annoying. Needs a ton of work!

Eventbrite is a very useful app in theory, but it's search function is horrific! I'll do a search for NYC events and will get stuff upstate, NJ, and PA and sometimes even TN! Additionally, I can search for the exact name of a group and its events won't come up. The level of disfunction (and the fact that Eventbrite hasn't done anything about it after all these years) never ceases to amaze me!

Love Eventbrite, but its app sucks. I can't search for groups (by name or keyword), only for events... And the setting to search for events within my geographic area doesn't work. (I set it on my city, it still shows events from everywhere... I go back and check and sure enough my city is still selected). The app has minimal use but the desktop version is fine.

Pretty good app with filters that allow you to select your city, what type events and dates. Areas for improvement include 1) many duplicate postings 2) when you filter for "local" events in Tampa only this shouldn't include Orlando, Venise and Punta Gorda; which are hours away. 3) After searching and asking for details of an event the app takes you all the way out, forcing you to start from scratch. Going back should take you to the last listing you were looking at. Super frustrating!

I love music. This app sucks. It's slow and makes me repeat actions, when it works. Right now, it freezes when checking out. It also sucks when it's the only option to buy tickets for a specific show! (Monopoly!) I guess they don't want my money. They won't take it! I keep trying to pay them for tickets in the app and it keeps freezing and crashing! Fully updated. I just want to see my favorite artists. Please stop being an obstacle.

The "Customer Service" feature is a complete joke. It gatekeeps the options you can get " help" in and sends you in the LOOP of CS HELL between "Most asked questions and an AI Chatbox. There is no human help either from chatbox, a phone number, or even an email contact list. I have been trying to contact someone to report an app software issue with a broken Conact an Organizer Link. There were some other issues with the order that cannot be resolved by AI, or their minscule preset options.

Search needs improving. Finding a city is not obvious if you don't want the one displayed or any in the list below. Eventually figured it out but it should be more intuitive. Then, after finding the city, there's no filter for movies(!) and the sort by date function removes the city filter! Looks a bug that should be easy to fix but strange it got past QA. More problems. When I tried to add a second ticket to a reservation, it kept breaking. The path to adding the ticket is dumb too.

It's nice having a list of things to do but this app just sucks. When I put in the city I want to be in and it gives me cities literally 50+ miles away. I have to sort through way more irrelevant entries, especially since I live near several bustling cities that would have to be a whole day event if I wanted to drive there. It doesn't sort by distance, so I could scroll through 20+ far away cities and then finally see an event in the city I actually put in the search.

Unwanted notifications: I love this app, BUT I turned off push notifications for everything *except* purchased tickets. I am still getting recommendations and general suggestions to "gather with friends" and "enjoy nightlife." The event reminders are helpful, but I will have to turn notifications off entirely for the app if it can't be managed within the app settings.

this app is actual garbage. of the 6 (yes, 6) tickets I've purchased over the last year through the app, only 2 of them have actually shown up/not caused problems. there is virtually zero tech support. even when I try 'contacting the organizer' like it says it won't even send the message smh **edit- just tried everything I could again, amd it looks like I'm mossong out on zeds dead because of this effing 'technical difficulties' 🙄 the app can't even navigate me successfully to a refund

This app almost never works right. Never ending loading and error pages. It's been this way over multiple updates, no matter my wifi or data connection. It has timed out in the middle of ordering tix many times. Dont know how often I've had to go to the website to complete orders or view pages. Don't download this app. Just use the web page.
