When it works it's great. But sometimes it doesn't, which means I'm never confident in it's accuracy. Auto trip detection keeps recording multiple trips as one trip, even after extended time not driving - like during a day at the office, or overnight. Several times I have gone to categorize a trip to find it has not been recorded. It will often create duplicate trips. I just can't trust it anymore. Update: after getting a phone with more memory it works much much better ;)

I started out rating this app 5 stars until it started to work only half of the time. In other words, I should not have to pay for this app if it doesn't automatically track my trips. Furthermore, adding "revenue" or "expense" doesn't properly work either. Trying to add a receipt will almost always crash the app. On the contrary, the app worked perfectly the first couple of weeks I had it. In a similar fashion, the concept of the app is amazing. However, the functionality of the app is not.

I've been using Everlance for 7 years, and the app has become quirkier and less functional over the years. Now the limit of 30 drives per month has forced me to either subscribe or use something else. I received an offer to subscribe for $24 off the regular price, but getting that discount proved to be impossible even after working with Everlance support. I am likely going to have to find something else to track my business miles. Even MileIQ allows 40 drives per month for free!

Any chance we can. Get this app to not pretend I'm "on a trip" when I'm only sitting or walking in my home? It's really annoying to have a persistent notification. If I dismiss it, it'll come back seconds later. Since you like persistent notifications, add one that just listens for trips. None of this "let's shut off the app as you're not using it" BS where I have to find out a week later that a long trip was never tracked and the system won't let me enter an address unless it's in your DB.

was great until it paywalled - just out of nowhere stopped tracking trips (they claim they communicated it, but they didn't. I didn't need the pay feature, just basic tracking, but apparently they want money if you want tracking for more than a bare minimum of trips. Many years of issue free service, now on the hunt for a replacement

The worst sorry available. Having problems with it creating the data exports. Received an automated email responseb the same day. Since that email, it has now been 9 days. No response. I even contacted support to report it, and still not word back. Spend your money on an app that provides actual customer service. I'm not sure which one that is, but I can personally guarantee that isn't everlance. What a joke. Off to find a new one after using this since Oct. 2022

Everlance is a great app for calculating all of my work miles that I deduct on my income tax. I use it for three different purposes which include my regular day job, my side hustle and my small business. It really helps that I can keep it on all day so every time I jump into my car and start driving it automatically records, so when I'm switching back and forth between jobs throughout the day I can archive the miles to each specific job title. Excellent app and a no-brainer for 1099ers!

I'd say this app is actually quite wonderful when it's working correctly. About 90%of the time it does it's job. However, If you don't classify a trip and leave it overnight, or if you don't drive for a day it stops auto tracking. So if you're paying for this app and using it for work (as I am) then make sure it's tracking so you don't lose precious miles and keep paying for nothing.

I love the app however the app sometimes doesn't automatically start trips or if the trips are really long they disappear and app states they're are a number of trips syncing but never do. so then I have to manually record them and try to remember all the addresses I have gone to. If I'm using the app to track my Doordash miles there could be 2 addresses to remember to 50 addresses to remember. Would be nice if you guys could fix it.

I've had this app since October 2023. I've had some issues with it, but for the most part, pretty good! Make sure you keep track of your milage just in case, I've had days where nothing tracks! Trying to find that milage really is hard when you make 10-15 deliveries a day!! Other than that, I think it's pretty solid. Still figuring out the expenses part but you can link your card and classify each transaction. Also can be used as a deduction!!! 😁

This app is great. If you need to track mileage for tax deductions, this is the perfect app for you. It automatically detects via gps when you start driving and stop. Them you swipe left out right if it's personal or for business. Super simple and accurate. The only complaint I have is if your phone is low bat or on energy saver mode, it doesn't track as accurate. Otherwise, is as great app.

Easy and accurate. Big time saver. Update. They ruined it. App has become unstable and, without warning, they limit the number of trips unless you upgrade. Inadequate warning is nearly blackmail if you travel for business. This was a great solution for 5 years. Its over now. Reply: Most recent communication from Everlance is 7/17/2020. All communication permissions in app are checked.

I was going to pay for the premium but I am very frustrated with the app now. Somehow figured out my job title without me ever adding it to the app. I don't want that there so I changed the title of the trips to just work, that took about 10 tries for each trip. When it finally worked, it changed the taxes calculation and lowered down the amount of counting as my work trips, even though they are marked as work. This app would be great if it worked. I'm giving up on it though.

I've been using Everlance as needed for on and off gig work and box truck driving. As long as you keep up with your transactions and sorting it is fast and easy. I have auto trip detection on and l like to photograph all receipts that I save and update them with notes. At the end of the year come tax time you can generate reports in an Excel compatible format and create filters based on those notes and really make taxes a breezy breeze. Then print the reports or just save the digital copy. Boom

Horrible customer service! Bought a new phone, uploaded the app and go to sign in and it tries to make me repay for the premium. All the data is gone. I am using the correct email and password to log in. Emailed customer support. Because why should you be able to talk to a live person? I submitted my receipt, showing U paid for premium, via email. Not sure if it's a person or bot on the email. All my data is gone. Email support tells me to just log in and it should all be there.

I downloaded it specifically so I could door dash and track my miles but instead, it tracks every single trip I make and it's super hard to organize them because it will auto create 5-10 trips in 1 day. And I don't dash every single day so I'd have to go In and delete all of the trips every single day. If you need it to track your every move, it's great. But Definitely not for me. 3 stars because it works great if that's what you're needing. But I need an app that has an on/off for trips

Seems to be just the same as every other mileage tracking app. After adding my favorite places it doesn't automatically track your favorite places you have to separately add your favorite places to your favorite trips having these two things separate makes little to no sense you also should be able to track your favorite places through this app which you can't you have to figure out if you want to one of your favorite places it does not automatically add it into your tracking

It gets the job done, most of the time. Usually it tracks just fine and I don't have any serious issues. However, I'm frustrated by the fact that oftentimes when I go into the trip settings to change it to a round trip, no matter how many times I toggle the switch or back out and try again, it will not calculate it as a round trip. There are also times when I will finish a trip and the trip will not show up even when I refresh or restart the app. Then it shows up then next day... Frustrating.

I like being able to manually enter millage and expenses. It's good that you can classify millage to different vehicles and business ventures. I think the only think keeping me from giving this app 5 stars is the monthly fee. If it was a one time fee for each levels of service I would be interested, but just not into monthly subscriptions.

Great App, but occasionally, it will cut off trips, and you can't get all the mileage credit. I would still highly recommend the app if you are a person who needs to track your mileage. When tax season rolls around, it has already done all the work for you. You just hit download, and the email the file to your accountant. Done! My accountant loves the documentation also. Makes her job so easy filing my taxes.
