Taking EXISTING free features and charging for them - ifttt integration was free for years and suddenly it requires a paid subscription. If you want to add a new feature and require payment for the new feature that is entirely legitimate, but don't play with features you have offered in the past - that is bait and switch! When a company does this they have lost track of their clients and they don't deserve further business.

Constantly disconnecting. Why dose this app keep disconnecting from the device? It may very well be the worst app/device combo that I have ever used. I keep hoping one of the numerous updates will fix it but I don't have faith it will. I am going to find a different switch and app combo. My advice to anyone thinking about this app and device solving your power switch problem, find a different solution or you will be randomly disconnecting and reconnecting. Awful app/switch combination.

This application has great potential, if it can manage to bridge together a majority of the smart devices. The worst part of having a smart home is that there is no single app which can control the many different devices. I have purchased their yearly subscription of upgraded service to support the development. I would like to see the addition of Amcrest Cameras and Magic Home devices.

Absolutely love the Sonoff devices for control and monitoring, however there are some pretty big flaws. The biggest of which, when you click on a outlet there is a 2-3m delay prior to showing live readings, even when connected via LAN. This needs to be addressed. Also things that should be added: -5m live wattage average on device. -Display wattage/KWH stats on the home panel with all of the device names. More stats are better and ability to easily read them, these devices are all about that.

the previous version was great. this newest version has intermittant glitches that hide buttons (4 gang switch) on the home screen (right side) but the most problematic issue is that intermittently I have no way to get to settings for any of my 7 units. There seems to be no Rhyme or Reason as to whether it will function correctly or not every time I open it.

Maybe the worst UI of the decade. I gave it 2 stars because it worked after a couple of hours of research. My problem was that the app insists that the phone be connected to a 2.4ghz router. My router is dual band as are most routers of this decade, but the app looks only at the phone connection, which was 5ghz for my 3-year-old phone. My solution was to dig out an older phone from the discard box that knew only 2.4. With the antique phone, the app was able to link to my smart devices.

You can no longer change the wifi settings on your devices since they changed the app. I tried working with their support team for over a month and they keep giving me the same trouble shooting steps that are on the website. Then they tried to tell me that all 4 of the devices I had must have gone bad all at the same time. I've now purchased different devices that don't use this app and they all work perfectly.

Worked very well until last update. Now only allows one command when started, then errors out "network is not available". Network is fine it is a programming problem. On another phone after this update and an Android update, program will no longer run at all! Please fix! This has been great until now. Problem has been fixed but program tries to track and report location almost every 30 seconds. Annoying and intrusive! Why does it need to do this? And who is it reporting it to? Fixed now working

App not compatible with dual band routers, no way to force to connect, just says not compatible with 5ghz. Cannot even get through basic setup process. edit: setting up using an iOS device and its version of this app works just fine for dual band routers, so its a software issue. Once I connected devices using an iphone I am now able to maange them via Android. very annoying.

Was working until latest update. Now, timer function is impossible to schedule as before, ie: turn on at xxtime; then turn off at xxtime everyday. The "scene" thing is not at all intuitive. It doesn't appear to be able to create one scene with both on and off but creating two scenes seems impossible, also. Hopefully I can add the device to another app that works.

I have many Sonoff devices for many years now and used to like this app a lot. Pairing was a breeze; took less than 1 minute to pair 1 device. I recently updated the app, I updated my wifi network and tried to reconfigure some devices, it took hours to go through the pairing steps again and again and again for each device. Technical support isn't helpful because they never got back to me. Your app really got all messed up somewhere along the way.

It used to be annoying to change the temp because you had to change the upper and lower threshold separately. With this new update it's somehow even harder and it doesn't show you the current setting on the main screen. Also it forces you to select upper and lower bounds but it doesn't accurately follow the setting. The new format of the logs is worse too. 1 star might be a bit harsh but it's just so frustrating when a non-optional update make your already frustrating experience worse.

Have had the app for some time. I use it to control a couple outlets. It was easy to setup and use. But too many times it goes offline and my outlets are said to be unresponsive, yet other things work fine. Just updated the app today, and now they don't work, yet again. The app that controls all my other remote products always works. I'll get a different app, or get different outlets that work with my other app. It ruins the whole idea of smart controls, if I have to manually control them.

Main purpose of why I bought this brand is to use the scenes and temperature feature. If create a scene to turn on a device if the temperature is <= 69. The first problem is temperature sets to 68 everytime. I turn off the upper temperature as it gets triggered in the off. When you close the app and reopen the scene it turns on the upper value to >=90 while the lower limit is set to <=68 which makes the scene inactive. I have sent feedback with video through the app. Waiting feedback.

It was a functional, inexpensive automation solution, but now they require a paid subscription. I'm not a fan of that, but I started to explore the option at least.... but I can't even log in to check in info now. My LastPass saved password for some reason is not recognized, and there's no 'forgot/reset password' option that I can find.. So I guess I'll abandon this product and try to discourage anyone from using it, since this company does not seem to care about their customers.

What the... The developers have turned a basic but functioning app into a confusing, complicated, poorly documented, bloated app with less functionality. Versions 4.+ are much more complicated with incomplete instructions and help files. My scenes stopped working so I deleted and reentered them but now there isn't any toggle for scenes that I don't always want running without deleting them. Going back to 3.14.1 and blocking updates until developers provide an app that works. What a shame!

Edit: Widget works, but on/off status rarely matches when schedule has changed state. Also, can't be logged in on phone and tablet at same time. Lowering rating to 2* until above works. Have SONOFF S31 plug. App is okay and similar features to Kasa app. Cannot create widget though...it never finds devices that this app has configured. If I find out I have to pay for that, rating will go lower.
