I love how easy it is to filter when you want to sort through things. The only issue is when selecting an item to view details and then pressing return. It takes you all the way to the beginning of the list so you have to scroll all the way to where you were before. It can be a long list with 100+ items. I also wish they would add an option within the app to see your in store purchases, like Target's app. The account is connected when you give your phone number at the counter.

This app sucks... it wouldn't even let me check out. I had to use my computer. Of course almost none of the clothes fit right because I'm not 6' tall, tho I do love their clothes, but the app def will not let me process returns or exchanges. Quite frustratingly, when I select that part, it takes me to an ad page for a discount on more clothes. Almost nothing in this app works. It's literally only good for putting stuff in your cart.

The app is always lagging. It gets slow too often. I really hope amd wish the issues with the app get fixed. The app sucks. Am losing patience on the app. You find items you want to buy, then try to check out a bug deletes everything you have spent so much time finding. Then you have to start all over again and then same thing happens multiple times. This is not nice at all. Is there anyone working to make sure this apps works properly? Seems like no one is 🙄

Do not buy online from this store. I am a long-time shopper and they're fine in-store but when you purchase online and return, they give you less than you paid for the item if you purchased multiple items. This has happened to me several times. The app receipt doesn't itemize if you buy on sale or with coupons, only full price so that they can determine any return price they want even when returning in store. Customer service gives you the runaround. Pretty much a scam.

Extremely buggy, hard to shop when half the items come up blank for size or color most of the time. Half the time tells me to try again later. Really am hating this app Update: this is still ridiculous, I tried to check out before my reward expired and it kept trying to make me sign in, and telling me my password was wrong when it wasn't. Then it supposedly expired (before the date) and the customer service representative couldn't do anything. You know with all the restrictions , this is bogus.

When the app first launched I couldn't use it, it would never process my order so I waited a while for the launch-bugs to be worked out. Tried it again on 11/1 and still had ordering issues. Bummer bc the layout is awesome and the app runs great except for ordering. It's running way smoother than launch so I know it's getting worked out, just wish it was sooner than later.

I would say that this app and Express have come a long way to becoming much better in recent years and it shows! There are only a few things I would suggest for improvement the scanner to scan clothing tags doesn't work and also please create a way to favorite/hearr items so I can easily find things later. And lastly the dates aren't accurate in the points history. Other than that Express has come a long way and I will continue to support this great company!

I am hoping this reaches the developers, et cetera. This app has so much potential but it lags so much and the server is always having connection issues. Get rid of the location tab (it freezes up and takes forever to load), add it as an option under the profile tab or add a favorites tab and put it under that tab. Items that are in my cart or save for later tab (move to favourite tab), should have a hyperlink so when you click on it to you go to the items page. I'm out of space now.

This is truly the worst shopping app in existence. On multiple occasions I have tried to use it only to have it glitch out on me, not display any of the clothes, freeze my phone, and most recently when I received a coupon for a hundred dollars off "in-app only," it repeatedly glitched and froze on the payment screen. Customer service could not help me despite being on the phone with them for an hour. This app is terrible, no idea why the company even bothers trying to drive traffic to it.

The express app is very very difficult to navigate, it used to work great , now it's horrible glitches, pauses , gets stuck , deletes items in the cart , I've uninstalled, reinstalled still won't work right , can't even get into the cart to look what you have or purchase it , not to mention the difficulty to purchase how much it glitches and have to start over , and to make a payment is a miserable process as well.. very disheartening considering how much i love express clothing.. 😔

8/25/2022 Honestly, it's not great considering it's an app. Doesn't save your place if you click in to an item and go back. You have to scroll back to your place and you also have to add back any filters. Wish it would just keep my filters entered and let me adjust them when I see fit. Also wish it would start me out on my gender preference side of the store. Still better than their website as I can actually make a purchase now. Update 4/24/2024 The app sucks now too. Love the clothes though 🤡

There interface is terrible...please fix this!!!! I have literally abandoned my cart and you lost a sale many times from me because it's so glitchy.....But I love Express clothes... there sales are the way to go. Between the free rewards and sales I get top quality designer items for very little money. There credit card is one of my favorites. It gives alot of opportunity to get free Express $$.

This app is so buggy. It constantly logs me out. Then when it logs me in it won't log in my rewards. I tried to login for my rewards at checkout and it messes up. I'm constantly having to close it and reopen it. I've deleted it and re-downloaded it multiple times. I will say things to my cart and they will be gone within hours. It just really needs a lot of developer work. It could be so much better.

Competitively one of the most horrible apps ever. I've somehow, to my confusion, been able to create multiple carts under the same email account... It's happened because express will delete my cart allow me to create another, save the deleted cart in the clouds and then bring it back when they feel like it, so sometimes when I open up my cart I'll have one set of items and then other times a different set of items... The app crashes like it's going out of "style."Maybe that could be their slogan

Irritating app. Constantly asks me to log in, update the app (when it's already fully updated), and won't load reviews of items/size charts or my previous order details. Also, some cart issues: I spent some time looking for items, filled my cart, and the app made me log in again, came back, and the cart was empty... honestly costing Express money. Needs lots of fixing.

The app is very glitchy, sometimes it works so good and most times there's always a problem. From been slow at loading and I have high speed Internet that's not an issue on my end, I put stuff on my cart then suddenly deletes them or I try browsing the cleanrance sale it doesn't load and it crashes. Overall the app has been frustrating to use to purchase merchandise because most of the times there's all kinds of issues. However I will give them their Customer service online it great.

The payment and search options don't work all the time. Also the app doesnt support checkout with shoprunner . Noticed that if you stay on the app for a long time it logs you out but then if you try to login again it shows unable to connect to server. Only after closing the app and reopening you can log in again. Update on android - after sign in the app gets stuck on the loading indicator and just never moves forward. Even the shopping cart items are not consistent between app and browser

How is this app worse than Shein and Temu apps? I really like the styles at Express, but I'm tired of having to fight everytime I want to shop online. When I'm authenticated, it still asks me to sign in. When saving items, I get a confirmation that it's saved, but nothing is in the saved list. There are many other issues that doesn't make this a user friendly app. It's no wonder there are stores closing. No one can actually buy anything online without spending longer than they would in person.

Too often I have problems with completing a transaction when Express cash is being used. This happened during my birthday month and despite chatting with customer service about the issue and them stating they would re-issue my birthday express cash, it was never re-issued and future express cash did not work when I attempted to make my purchases. Additionally, each time I am shopping and have items in my "bag" they disappear. SOOOO frustrating on too many levels.

It never actually updates when it says it needs an update, when you try to put something in your cart as Save for Later, it never does, it just deletes it, and even after you have already logged into the app, you need to log in again to check out of the cart, and it gets stuck thinking! I always have to go online to complete my order instead of through the app. Please update properly, because it's just not usable! I gave a 2 star only because you can at least search.
