Mariana Islands (CNMI), District of Columbia (DC), Guam, and Navajo Nation Special Supplemental
Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Programs. You can use Clinic Search to find a
nearby WIC clinic. You can use the Store Locator to find a nearby grocery store to shop for WIC foods.
Shopping for WIC foods in the grocery store can be confusing and hard, and this app makes it easier.
You can view the Food List in the app to see what types of foods are WIC approved. You can also scan
the barcode of a food with your phone and the app will tell you if it is WIC approved.
Register your eWIC card for additional features:
• Scan the barcode of a food with your phone and the app will show if you can buy the food with
your eWIC card and will display the available benefits. This will help avoid awkward situations in
the checkout lane.
• Check your latest benefit balance at any time.
• See details regarding your current home WIC Clinic.
• Receive and manage additional notifications:
o Appointment reminders
o Forgot documents
o Food benefits expiring soon
o Food benefits expired
For Arizona WIC Program only: Submit a complaint against WIC Participants, WIC Staff, or WIC Vendors
under ‘Contact Us’. By selecting the menu called ‘Other Resources” you can view eWIC Card balances
and food list information in multiple languages, or view the “WIC in a Click” Website for WIC training
videos.

On the wic scanner to see if an item is approved... It says yes but I end up having to pay that item. And most of the things it says im allowed to get doesnt even get approve with WIC.

It keeps saying to come back next time. Or it crashes too much. It doesnt even let you use the barcode scan.

Simple easy to use app when it works properly. Most of the time it wont load & displays a "7technical error" message.

since the last update the app will not let me access my benefits. it will not allow me to change settings, like it is asking me to do. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled. I have emailed the email provided on here I've been waiting for a week now for help.

Ever since the latest update it wouldnt let me see my benefits. It says I need to choose my notifications, but the screen is frozen and I can't do anything with it. I have uninstalled and still same problem.

This app is very helpful when you're new to using wic and aren't sure what's approved. You can scan barcodes to confirm approved items, they provide clear details and pictures of what is allowed. Very user friendly.

does anyone else have a problem with this app it works fine when I'm home but as soon as I enter the store it goes out of order can't scan or see benefit and even when I screen shot my benefit it always ends up telling me I get to many things when I have my screen shot to prove it some one help is this store issues or my app

This is a great app showing what balance you have should you don't complete your list. It's also a great app to show you what you can get with your list. I'd like to suggest though to add notifications for appointments. Now that would be so awesome!

Its a good concept that would pair nicely with the card system if the app would actually work. For example: I have to write my food balance down on paper bc this app rarely ever works in the store! It's frustrating and pretty much a waste of my storage space. Uninstalling...

I actually really like this app. It shows me everything I need to see. But this morning I updated the app and now I can't see the balance.

I guess the app doesn't work anymore. I don't even know what it means to take my phone off dark mode, it's not on dark mode.

Can't see anything on my app anymore. Says to switch to light mode but settings does not give any option to change it. If I could id give 0 stars

This app use to work great but at as of lately when I go to my benefits all I get is a black screen & I have no idea what benefits I've used or what I have left & im having to call my local WIC office in order to get my benefit list emailed to me so i know what im still able to purchase

Barcode glitches more often now, won't work in dark mode (which I need due to my eyesight and cluster headaches), and as of the last week, won't load my remaining benefits no matter how many times I reload... Please change it back. I hate having to ask my spouse what the darn screen says because I can't read it...

The newest update somehow doesn't work with the phone set to dark mode, so their solution is to require the user to change the phone's global dark mode setting just to use the app. I'm a developer myself and I was shocked to see this. It's just unprofessional. If your update doesn't support basic android functionality you don't push it to production. But these people just slapped a message at the top bluntly requiring the user to change global phone settings to cover for their own incompetence.

In general I find this app very useful and I check it almost every time I go shopping. It's especially great because it updates with food changes and you don't get notified of that otherwise. But the newest update forcing you to change phone settings because it doesn't work with dark mode breaks it for me. Bright mode gives me migraines. I hate that I was forced to update the app only for the experience to get significantly worse
