Last year at the beginning of the season, I had huge problems. The app was literally unusable!!! As the season progressed, the app got better and better. At this point, whether it is watching live races, or some awesome footage of all things F1, anytime I want, I am able to watch flawless streaming. F1 TV great job over the past twelve months!!!

Barely passable app. Bugs: 1) This one is big -- on my Pixel 2 the video plays but the progress bar doesn't move from where I put it. Features needed: 1) Save location - leaving the app and coming back into it sucks 2) Skip back/forward 15 secs -- I want to be able to switch between drivers and see eachs' view of an incident. Without a button, you have to mess with the progress bar. 3) Netflix/YouTube-style offline downloads. I want to watch on public transit without killing my data!

They have fixed the old issues with the app, and now it streams pretty good, even when watching live races. The issues now, as others have stated, is the inability to start the race from the beginning or when you try to skip ahead (after you've slowly went back to the beginning), it will glitch, and you're watching the live feed again. Essentially, getting spoilers. There's also the issue of it not staying paused. Overall, it's nice to be able to watch the races, but it can be very frustrating.

Great service, big F1 fan and this definitely satisfies the need. My 3 issues: 1) The video players make it difficult to effectively fast forward or rewind (cursor is way too small). 2) Unless you have a mobile device that is compatible to stream to your smart TV, you're stuck watching on your mobile device. 3) The current season video tab contains videos of preceeding years. Isn't that what the past season tab is for? It becomes difficult to find the full replays/highlights for the current year

$84 for "Internet Connection is not available?" Come on. Latest release obviously doesn't fix this problem. Once the developer gets this fixed - for real - then the app is good. When watching replays, the progress bar is hard to control, at least while watching on a phone. To move along the progress bar to fast forward or rewind is difficult. It's a good user interface other than that fairly critical function. Fix it. Until then, one star is generous.

Straight trash!!! I've got two user names and can't log in to either of them. Password is correct, but error on their part. Used to be able to pay monthly, but now it's nearly $100 cause they charge you for an entire year. Finally, I broke down and decided to pay them $90 for the app, and both of my accounts are unaccessible. Password reset doesn't work. I'm literally trying to give these clowns a $100 and they won't even let me log in to either of my accounts. -⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Excellent. Works very well on Android phone and Hisense android TV. However, still waiting for a Sony Android TV app, for Sony I just cast from phone. I experience none of the issues a few android users are noting in their reviews. Like sign in being difficult or archaic, or lagging or poor quality. It is lower quality at the start for maybe 10 seconds and then catches up to HD. All other functions work pretty seamlessly on all of my devices. Worth the money.

The application works well and is easy to navigate. Videos stream with good quality and there is a lot of content to explore. My main gripe would be that once a video ends, autoplay will randomly select another video and begin playing it after a 5 second countdown, with no way to disable auto-pay. Also, content will not continue to play in the background, so there's no way to use your device for anything else while you're watching a video.

Watching from start doesn't work if you want to start watching a race while it is ongoing. It will instead start playing at the live moment, which frequently spoils things. Then, when the live broadcast ends, your watching will unrecoverable pause and you have to restart. Very frustrating. Seems to work fine as long as you don't start watching something while it is also live.

Update: You can't stream the race in the TV or cast it anymore without buffering constantly. Only 5-7 seconds of stream, 1 second of buffering... all race long. It dIf you like F1, this app is a must!! I love the ease of use, great video quality, multiple viewing angles and 2 different transmission feeds to watch.

For the price, needs work. On my TV the captions don't work and you have to completely change app language. The weekend warm up live kept switching to a documentary whether I watched live or from start (even after it was over). On my phone, the data/tracking/onboards blink when you click on them but don't change over. Those options work on my TV though? Also no cast button like I thought there would be. I don't know, just inconsistant for the cost

newest version is less intuitive. now when I navigate away from the app - for a call, message, photo, etc. I can't just reopen and continue where I was - it restarts the app and starts at the main screen and I have to find what I was watching and hope it restarts where I left off (it usually doesn't). even a "recently watched" tab would be helpful. it's also still missing the ability to minimize and watch/listen in the background like almost all other video apps.

Great to have when it works right. Works on all my devices but my Motorola edge 30 fusion android 13 I can't sign in. It does it but shows a error but you can't read it since it shows up and goes away immediately. I have tried all the trouble shooting and still nothing. Like I said it works fine on my other phone, Roku, and smart tv

Play From Start button doesn't work as intended. I just want to cast the race to my TV. That should not be that difficult. There's thousands of apps doing it. When I click on Play From Beginning and cast on tv just please please please do not jump to the last and show me results of race. It ruins the joy of watching and following F1. If you want to lose fans, this is how you do it. This comment still stands, a year later, the application doesn't have a good way of controlling the cast on TV.

Casting live events never works. I have the latest version of Android, the app is up to date, and my TV is up to date. I have gigabit internet speeds. I can cast old races without issue. Even if my phone disconnects from the TV, the old races will play until the end. This will be the last season I pay for F1 TV. If you can't get your app to work correctly, you don't deserve my money.

For the last 2 weekends I've had to uninstall then reinstall the app just to get it to work. Pretty annoying. Edit: 5/3/2024. I don't know why I even pay for this. The app never displays anything other than the bug red F1 screen. If tried Force stopping the app and then restarting it. I've tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling it. Nothing works.

works really well on Tablet and phone. but come on, it's 2024. there is no reason, even from a backwater dirt hole like England, that there isn't an app for Xbox/Playstation/PC. or even a way to cast it to a TV. that is why it's rated low. it looks ok for mobile and having to rely on wifi, options to switch between drivers is nice. this is the only reason it is 2* and not 1* hell, I can create an app for console/PC. no reason for $85(USD) that we can't. hope it's better for next season

The casting experience is awful. Can't switch between feeds without exiting casting and reinitiating. Also, the interface doesn't work well with Android's gesture navigation. You can easily jump the video somewhere trying to exit the app. Finally, the casting will sometime disappear and the only way to get back control of the stream is to click on the video/stream again which starts it from the beginning. How this app can exist in this horrid state is beyond me.

it plays good quality video of races. there are so many design related issues that i cant rate it well. the schedule is clunky to use. once an item has passed it no longer shows the time it occurred. often you cant play an item that just finished. you select, ask to play from beginning and it will tell you it isnt happening right now. it frequently asks you to sign in again and then rejects the password the first time you hit enter. this is nitpicky but they also call items "replays". why ?

Overall great features, IF you have the time to watch all the content. But there are too many issues to justify this for casual watching if you have cable. You can't download for offline viewing. 10 second rewind still skips back several minutes or even to the beginning; this has been ongoing for well over a year that I've tried it. Video doesn't auto flip if auto rotate is off. This is first party software. The only benefit over using my DVR download is on board cameras.
