This is a nice app for sharing shopping lists or chores lists. One problem that I have with it is that I like to organize my shopping lists in order of store section. The lists allow you to drag items to reorder them, but then it sometimes randomly changes placement of some of the items. This can be frustrating when you've made your way through the store to realize that the app decided to move an item halfway down the list. Or if tasks in order of priority are swapped in a chores list.

the format for apple is more user-friendly. I have an android, and it doesn't allow me to switch days while in calendar list mode and a few other things that would be easier for users with Android. I dislike that ap designers do this. They'll make it more adaptable for Apple products and leave the Samsung users having to do more key strokes and navigation to get to where they need. It gets the job done. But it could be better, and they proved that on apple devices.

I really like this app. Everyone in the family can use the calendar, add events, get notifications and reminders, add groceries to any of the grocery lists, add tasks and assign them and get reminders. I love the interactivity of this app. The only thing it doesn't have that I really wish it had is a more specific grocery shopping list, that you can add prices to and it would add up the cost in your shopping cart.

We've had this for years and loved it, but recently they took away the banners and made those only available on the paid version. We've been trying to pay to upgrade, but after about 2 months of emails back and forth with famcal (they have no phone number), my profile has dots, my husband's has banners, and we have not been given a workable way to pay to upgrade (the button they say should be there isn't on our cals). Super frustrated and almost ready to jump ship after years of use.

Famcal is AMAZING! It has many features that other shared calendar apps do not have OR make you pay extremely high fees for! This app allows you full monthly calendar view along with color coordination, memos, lists (shared grocery list are awesome) reminders, even location! My whole family has joined and it has made daily life so much easier! It's user friendly & EASY to navigate (unlike others)! I've tried four other apps before this... don't waste ur time! Use Famcal first! It's everything!!!

Has features I like and is easy enough to navigate. The problem is the full screen ad that pops up. If I had a 5 second ad for Walmart I'd be annoyed but fine. But this app that is designed to be used by an entire family keeps giving me ads for porn. I don't want to see or have my 12 year old see a full screen drawing of a girl who looks fifteen with her legs spread as slime drips down her body. Just as a preference.

I've been using this for 5 years. It's easy to add family members, calendars, and email addresses. It keeps us organized, even when we're not together! The only complaint is that it isn't MORE accessible through other apps that use calendar/agenda notifications. I would love to use it instead of having to default to a major calendar name like boogle or microloft. ;]

I love this app. I have been using it for almost 2 years and just purchased the lifetime membership. I would like to make a few suggestions to the developers. Can you add a meal planner calendar or list feature to the app? Maybe even allow it to link with shopping list in some way. Also the ability to add photos to items on the shopping list so we know which brand etc to get. A most common items list for shopping would be great too.

Downloaded several apps offering similar features but only at the cost of purchasing the premium version. Being able to sync with my google calendars without paying is what makes this app great! Now my partner and I can sync our calendars and always stay up to date on our plans and bills. We also love that once you tick something on your shopping list it automatically removes it from the list making it easier to shop quickly without having to scroll through a long list.

Overall, the calendar functions as it should and I have not had any issues with most features. Specifically, I like the layout of the alarm function and being able to pick who gets notified by which alarm. Very clever. Cons: -Cannot hide individual holidays. The choices within the app are either to hide all US holidays or leave every nonsense, non-applicable holiday. -Too many ads that are way too long.

This is really handy. I love the way they programmed the Shopping list and To Do list. You can have a separate shopping list for each store. When you buy the item, click the check box and it disappears. Same with tasks. My husband loses shopping lists about half the time. Now, if he has his phone, he has the list. Very easy to use. Ads not intrusive.

This app makes it easier to view the family activities, bills, birthdays, etc. The memo section is very useful for keeping track of things with dates and notes and comments. My husband can add things and we both get notifications when things change or are added. It would be nice to add pictures in the comments in the memo section, we use it to keep track of things and it won't let us add anymore (we only have 4 pictures on it). I ran out of space. This app is awesome, but could be improved.

Astonishingly useful - the free app is very helpful, options to upgrade are not intrusive and don't bother you like some apps. Same with the ads, they're really well placed to stay visible, but not in the way. We're using the free version for a few months before we upgrade to get a feel for it, but so far it's been amazingly helpful keeping us organized and always coordinated. Since I travel, it helps me avoid traveling over important family dates :)

Great shared calendar. I like the notifications, selecting multiple people for events, the integration with navigation. I wish that searching for places were easier. You need to start with the beginning of the word and can't limit searches to a certain geographic area. I guess I'm surprised at how often I don't actually get the first word right.... 😀

I liked the functionality of this app. This is the 4th shared calendar I've tried. After a while though the notifications stopped coming. I emailed them and they said to uninstall and reinstall, which we both did, but still no notifications. I will probably just go back to a paper calendar on the wall since I cannot find an app that either doesn't notify us at all or bombards every person with notifications that are not relevant to them.

I think this is a wonderful app! Its exactly what I need and what I've been looking for, for such a very very long time!! The only other improvement as such that I would suggest is an option where we could organize the shopping list more extensively - for example, if we could arrange it store-wise. But even without it, I LOVE this app and I'd give it every star I have!

Works fairly well on my phone. Able to sync up with my family, but there are a few issues I wish would be fixed. -Sometimes the calendar is not updated between us and so our events will not line up until some time later. -The reason I use cloud calendars is to use on any platform, which is disappointing because there is no website to check and no Chromebook friendly app. If there would be some sort of open availability that would make this even more lovely. -Better preferences, such as default view or easier widget creations would make the app much easier and faster as well.

I love the color coding and the shared calendar for my family's appontments! The grocery and to-do lists could be much more useful if we could set due dates and repeat them without having to have them taking up space on the calendar. A web version would also be great, especially for my mom. It still is a great useful app for free, so thank you, devs!

My family and I share this app. It has organized and improved our lives immensely. However, now when my husband or I add events, it's not communicating. I'm only reviewing so if there are bugs, it can be fixed. Why now all of a sudden? We both have updated the app and have most current versions.

I've had this app a long time now and it is the single most useful app I own. You do get about 1 ad every time you use it, but that's it and they are short. This app is not too frilly or complicated but has all the most functional features. My family all have the app on their phones. We are able to share a calendar color coded by person, a grocery list, to do list, meal plan, all that any one of us can add to at any time. I use the memos to keep pics of products we use, school calendar, etc.
